Lex pressed a gentle kiss to her scent gland before biting down, hoping to override the scent neutralization. 

Oh, hell, did it. 

She keened and rose into him as his nose was flooded with the smell of spearmint and tea leaves. A sweet underlay of honey, thickened with her incoming heat, signified her omega dynamic.

Blood rushed south as his control slipped and her pheromones hit his system. He nipped at her neck and his hand gripped her hip as he groaned. He knew that scent. Though it had never held that honey note before. 

Hidden like her dynamic -- scent selective neutralizers. God-damned Wayne Enterprises.

“Jasmine,” he named her. Jay Wayne to her friends. Bruce Wayne’s beta ward… Or not. 

Wayne had always been something of an extremist; touting that instincts were ridiculous and could be controlled easily. That an omega’s heat was only a matter of the right mental state. If his own ward, if Jasmine, was an omega… it explained a lot about her current state of neglect.

It also told him exactly who Batman was. 

Lex would be damned if he was giving her back. An alpha like Bruce-fucking-Wayne didn’t deserve such a beautiful little omega like Jay.

For the ship ask meme, what is the most underrated ship, in your opinion? :)

I tracked you down for a fandom. lmao. I had to think for few minutes what I would say would be an underrated fandom for DC. More specifically, for me, Jason Todd. I’ve decided to go with ClarkJay and LexJay. I couldn’t pick just one. Both of these have have a lot of potential and I don’t see them very much. True rarepairs.
