Happiest of birthdays to my favorite person, the incredibly talented, lovable, beautiful Liam Payne. On this, his 23rd birthday, let us celebrate 23 things that made me lose my sh*t this past year. This is the first year that I didn’t get to personally spend his birthday with him, watching him kill the stage, and even tho I’m a bit sad about that- I’m even more excited for the future. 1. Tattoos
In the past year, Liam’s tattoos have gone from about a 40 to 100. Holy tatted batman. And to think, it’s not even completed.
2. Watson

This past year, Liam officially introduced us all to Watson. And I’m pretty sure we all fell in love with the big Pup. People who love Great Danes are excellent people tho,so this a match made in heaven.
3. Attitude Magazine
I don’t think I’ll ever get over Liam being the 1st one out the gate, with his own double covers for Attitude Magazine. NEVER.
.4. Snapchat and all that
This manboy has an affinity for snapchat and I want in. As with all things social media, he seems to have a knack for it. It’s honestly probably a blessing in disguise that we don’t have access to it, but I cherish the glimpses he chooses to share.
5. Candids!
We haven’t gotten many in the past year, but the ones we’ve gotten have been runway status/modeling type levels. Who knew grocery shopping could be so hot?
6. Perfect Music Video
The aptly titled Perfect music video. Everything about Liam in this video was perfect. The director knew my boy’s angles and she made sure to highlight him as the babe he is.

7. Drag Me Down remix ft. Lunchmoney Lewis
The most FIYAH remix of 1d’s songs via Liam. This would’ve done so well on radio it’s still upsetting. (edit via tdp)
8. Otra Tour NA/ Sheffield
OTRA North America and OTRA UK Liam were phenomenal moments in time. It all culminated with the last show of the tour and this great moment. Led by Liam’s dad! (via @sweetharold)
9. Thanksgiving at Ryan’s with Niam
Getting this picture on Thanksgiving!!! I was grateful. Chef Liam love.
10. The Nike Sweats and American Football player situation
PAYNETON! As a huge fan of college and pro football, this was beyond exciting to see. It all started with a football game in November, and then this awesome picture in January, and then several social media interactions. One day, Payneton will have the proper means to rise- when they’re both not busy taking over the world that is.

Liam’s verses in Four Five Seconds changed me. And changed my love for the song. Give it a Grammy!

14. Body Love.
I just love that Liam’s decided to bless us twice this year with that kind of instahoeism that matches his flawless selfies. YAS. But truthfully, it’s really nice to see him back in a space where he seems more confident. He’s so beautiful :))

16. Lirry (you knew I had to)
I am clinging on to this Lirry kiss, their last interaction publicly, with all my heart. This keeps me alive.

This happened the day after my birthday. I thought I was going to have a heart attack. The song came seemingly out of nowhere, and even tho it was a rough-cut, Liam’s vocals were still on point. And then the laugh. And then the hundreds of positive articles and reviews on the demo. Icing on the cake.
18. Selfies
As if it would be a good year if Liam wasn’t dropping professional selfies on us. Thank you, the gram loves you.
19. Buzzcut 3.0.
Three is the magic number. Liam’s had the buzz at least 3 separate times the past 5 years. The first was good , second meh, BUT THIS. This takes the cake. He looked SO handsome.
20. Brit Awards 2016
The Brits 2016! Just all the feels you can think of hit me. Lilo representing 1d, 1D winning another Brit. Shiny suits. Pretty faces. Tans. Banter. I want and need more.
21. Juicy J/TM88/Liam Payne connection
The January recording sessions was the first taste of solo Liam we got and HOW EXCITING was it? We were completely unprepared but also as ready as we could ever be. Maybe one day soon we will get to finally hear what came out of those sessions. (gif from zayndele)
