How I feel drawing these guys by myself 😞
We have more photos of them together than Lawrusso in 1984, but in return, they interact less. A win is a win, i guess
Karate kid legends au where Johnny went with Daniel to New York.
Johnny seeing the drama: Oh so they're us.
Daniel sitting next to him: Yep.
Johnny sighing: How long do you think they're going to take to realize?
Daniel grabbing Johnny's hand: Hopefully not as long as us, plus its not the 80s so they got that going for them.
I need more fics of them actually
Okey I'm starting to think in every Karate Kid generation there's going to be a rivals-to-lovers duo the fandom is going to ship-
I need the Liconor content as a fellow starving vulture pspspspsps oooh you wanna tell me ur headcanons so bad
Alright, let's go then! :D
First of all, Li calls Connor "Tiger" in his mind, which slips out at some point and he just BLUSHES from head to toe (thank you for that one ^^).
I feel like Connor would get kicked out of Demolition Martial Arts and try to either contact Mr. Han or Daniel to be his new teacher. But turns out (as we already know), none of them live in NY. He'd end up at the pizzeria, asking Mia about it. He'd apologize to her after she tells him nothing and leave before Victor finds out he's there.
Mia tells Li about it, so he contacts Connor, telling him that he was Victor's teacher for the boxing match and that he'll train him if he's up for it.
I feel like Li began ignoring Connor even more after the tournament, but only offered to train him because he saw genuine change in his behavior and had hope in him changing
Connor says yes and they hang out at Alan's roof garden to train.
I feel like Connor's family isnt physically abusive, but does neglect him.
He felt like he was evil by default, so he tried his best to "fake" being nice while dating Mia. Because he thought that was the right path.
Then, Demolition Martial Arts appears and teaches him a way of gaining a figure that's proud of him because of his violent impulses.
He begins to act more and more like Connor from the beginning of the movie, leading to him and Mia breaking up and making up over and over (She still sees the kindness Connor had and realises he's faking being a bad person, but also realises she cant hold a relationship with him because she doesnt know him and he himself made sure of that ever since they first started dating).
When Li and Connor start training together, he begins with meditation or very peaceful things before teaching him any moves.
Connor usually rolls his eyes at that but follows with little to no questioning.
I also think that, once you get to know him, it's very easy to see him cry.
He's way too full of emotions he cant control and Li helps him through that.
He eventually comes clean about this to Mia and she kinda freaks out (because she knows the ups and downs Connor has), until Li tells her about that kindness he sees in Connor and how Demolition wasnt able to take it out of him.
They have this banter about calling Li "shifu" and spar every once in a while.
He also became friends with Alan after a while and goes back to being just friends with Mia.
Connor is a CUDDLY mf once he comes out of his shell. Like, whenever the anger issues kick in, he just goes to hug Li or Alan (He prefers to not fully hug Mia because he doesnt wanna make her uncomfortable, but he does go for side hugs) (He also knows Alan is a bit scared of the hugs too, but he thinks that's funny)
Idk what else to say...
Like, he seems like the type to eat nougat.
Once they became friends, they were INSUFFERABLE. After a few weeks of that going on, Mia decided to break up with Li in good terms but they havent told anyone. They keep the "relationship" going for discount purposes.
Li isnt sure why they broke up, but is glad it didnt shatter their friendship (the reason is that she saw the look her father described that she had when she was dating Connor and went "WOAH okay, sure. This is happening").
He tried learning guitar from Alan but quit after attempt one. Li told him to try again and began actually learning.
Now idk what else to say.
Tell me more of your own headcanons! :D
Would yall read my crappy yet to be slow burn of li fong x conor day fic im working on..
