every time someone tags my posts as "fauxcest" i burst into tears, you wouldn't make your lil sis cry would you? 🥺🥺😭
thinking about that deleted scene from It Chapter 1 when they were running away from Neibolt to their bikes and Eddie got injured, Richie didn't even let him go and was just holding him till they got to their bikes plus Eddie was so tiny that Mike lifted him with ease and he fit inside that small compartment of Mike's bike then we have Stan who went ZOOOOM! and biked so fast that he was ahead of the others and they all went "OHSHITOHSHITSHITOHFUCKOHFUCKFUCKHOLYSHITHOLYSHITSHITSHITAAAAAAAHHAHSHAKAHWJAK"
in conclusion, they should have kept that few seconds deleted scene :)
“Isnt salt just edible rocks?”
“I should go ask Salty about it. I’m sure she’ll know!”
if Richie called Eddie, "Eds" and told him, "Cute, cute, cute!" in the movies like in the book, i would know the true meaning of peace.
pre-op girls often get really worried about dilation, so here's a frank little post about it from someone who is over half-a-decade post-op.
i haven't dilated in a few months, i'm not sure exactly how many but i think it's been about four months? i'm years after surgery, so this is honestly fine, but i also haven't done penetration more than once since the start of this year. because of that, i knew it would be tougher than usual, certainly tougher than early post-op dilation was.
today i felt super down and exhausted, so i decided to do some self-care to feel more connected to myself.
that self-care was dilation, because dilating is itself an act of caring for your body! it's a bit boring and mundane (especially since tension, excitement, or laughter are disruptive to it so being bored is the ideal mental state during it) but it's good for you.
and yeah, it'd been four months. so i was a little slower to get to depth than if it had been less time, and it was moderately uncomfortable with a few brief moments of tension that were fine, normal penetration stuff. your body going "oof, inflexible solid glass" is normal.
i did the full time with the medium and the full time with the large, then got out my favourite dildo and enjoyed a couple of tired little orgasms as a reward for getting it done because at that point i'm warmed up and it's an easy switch. you know when an orgasm makes you cry but it's really cathartic and a relief? good stuff! dilation works as buildup if you want to do penetration, but by itself it's very intimate; you're very focussed on your body and your feelings and self-control. trying to dissociate from it means you're not doing it properly, so you are very attentive to the physical feelings and movements, the little motions and control, and the responses of your body.
dilation is, and has been since surgery, one of the most profoundly intimate things i do with my own body. it is much more involved and patient and caring than, say, masturbation. enjoying that act of care for yourself is important to motivate yourself through the tedium of spending most of an hour on it.
then i took a shower, cleaned the dilators up, and had a lie down for a bit to rest.
i'm a little sore and a bit stiff when walking now, a couple of hours later, but dilation was always consistently slower and tougher for me than a lot of girls i know (likely related to my mobility/joint/ligament issues, your perineum has quite a lot of ligaments and there's two that can be pretty resistant to penetration, for me!). so i'm a girl for whom dilation was always pretty tough, but you just have to do it.
it's really not a burden, and people get too scared about it before surgery. if you're post-op, one day you'll feel like i feel right now. you did a chore, but it's a blessing too.
i feel much more grounded and connected to myself and more relaxed now than i did before that session. it's like i've pulled the cork on the depression and my emotions are flowing properly again. i feel real, my body exists tangibly rather than smeared by the fog of exhausted apathy. i still feel depressed, but i feel steady, satisfied, and i did something good today that i've needed to do for a while.
dilation is a mundane task, for a while it's a chore, it is not 'fun'.
but it's really not scary, and even on a bad day it can be a good thing.
dilation is about loving yourself.
and i think we don't talk about that enough, as trans women.
i've been getting into Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising lately and part of the experience of starting a fighting game is not knowing most characters or what they do or what their deals is because 1-2 characters out of 30+ grabbed all your attention and made you want to try the game. this means getting surprised by things.
so uhm anyway uh. when i heard Vira say "onee-sama" in her intro with Katalina my neurons fucking activated. Katalina had just asked Vira to (according to the English subtitles) "Bare everything, hold nothing back". And Vira says (and I'm choosing not to translate the first word yet) "Onee-sama... ah~ Bare everything, you say? Ahah. Hahahahahaha!" while blushing and giggling/cackling creepily with a full-on yandere expression.
now, the english subtitles translated "onee-sama" as "Katalina". and for a moment i was like "this is cowardice, omg there is siscest in this game?! it was made for meeeeee!!!!!"
absolutely crushed to go on the wiki and realise that no, it is not literally "sister". Vira and Katalina are not related, they were childhood friends at the same academy and Vira is a couple of years younger. the subtitles translate "onee-sama" to "Katalina", which is fine as a decision, "sister" is too literal and not an accurate translation. my sisterfucking brain just leapt to a conclusion when recognising the sound of the words.
anyway, first of all, found sisters is still siscest. they are sisters to me. Vira should insist (incest?) on it and do utterly depraved, deranged things to Katalina!
secondly, Vira is a creepy freaky weirdo obsessively in love with Katalina; when they have intro dialogue together Vira has a slight blush on her cheekbones and much more distorted expressions. this is just the game.
This is a normal woman with normal feelings and i am not obsessed with her, waow, awooga, meow meow meow, i need them to fuck nasty and i need it now
"have you read Colonialism Is My Fetish And The White Man's Burden Is Very Sympathetic Actually Don't Bring Politics Into My Inherently Political Fantasy? i really like it."
"have you played American Military Propaganda Game? it's so cool."
"have you seen Cops Are Good? the butch joins the cops and does fascist violence, this show is so progressive."
"have you read Sad Man Abuses Women? it's so sad, he's so sympathetic, really it's the women's fault."
"have you played American Military Propaganda Game? no, i'm talking about a different one. no, no i mean a different one. not that one, this other one."
"have you seen Fascism Is Good And Also Women Can Commit Violence For Empire Too? the blonde blue-eyed CIA agent is such a girlboss. this is the most important feminist film since Transmisogynistic Advertisement For Sexist Product (Featuring Plotline About The Plight Of Men)."
"have you read Bland Woman Inexplicably Falls In Love With Violent Shitty Man? you liked Erotic Lesbian Situationships so you like Romance, here, try this new romantasy bestseller called The Heterosexual Bargain (Raceplay Edition)."
"have you played FOMO Digital Storefront With Battle Royale Mode? there's a new season pass! also they're filling it with AI too, it's the future."
"have you seen season 2 of Sad Man At Exploitative Job? they haven't fixed the racist lighting and racist colour grading and racist framing of The Threatening Black Man Character, but season 2 has a scene where the childlike mind-wiped Asian wife they fakeout-fridged is dressed as a schoolgirl now. it's so good, you have to watch it."
"have you read Women Have No Interiority And Heterosexuality Is All That Matters? she looks at a woman for two seconds so it's a SaPpHiC BoOk you're a sapphicianist so you should read it and stop saying you want to read 'lesbian fiction', it's exclusionary, stop saying 'lesbian', why do you hate men so much anyway, here try this other book it's called Life Is About Men and it's written by a woman who thinks gays are diseased and vaccines cause autism but you should separate art from the artist."
"have you played Women Are Eye Candy And Props? look at these screenshots of how hot this airbrushed bland overwatch-sfm-porn-inspired character design is, feminists are soooo mad lol, here, look at this gif of a panty shot. i'm so mature, this art is mature, it's for adults, for men, i think we need more games for men actually. how dare you accuse me of being a gamergater you're so misandrist."
"have you seen I Hate Women? it just came out. y'know, starring that guy who got away with beating and abusing women, produced by that guy who who openly supports genocide, directed by that guy who knew Jeffrey Epstein, co-starring that guy who allegedly is a "sex pest" (which definitely only happened once, abuse isn't a pattern, also the phrase "sex pest" isn't a way of downplaying the actual violence of harassment and abuse). it got really good reviews from other men, praising how well it tackles male loneliness and our society's terrible discrimination against men. it's so deep. here's my fanart of Abuser1 and Abuser2's characters sucking and fucking, also i hate that bitch character Stand-in For Scriptwriter's Ex-Wife, she's such a bitch, why is she so bitchy, she hates him so much, she's the problem, i'm going to write her out of my fanfic, everything is her fault, fans sent the actress threats on social media until she deleted her entire public presence, she deserves it for playing that character, she shouldn't be such a bitch."

i hate mainstream media so much, and fandom is fucking poisonous. some of these are me vaguing actual real things (like Fortnite, Stellar Blade, or Severance), most of it's combining complaints about multiple properties because these problems are everywhere.
i'm sooooo fucking sick of it.
