quick simple comic of some of my fave nosy neighbor moments from session one. i love them so much already, hopefully they thrive together ^^ despite their history...

[ID: a simplistic eight-page comic doodle of bigB and pearl from limited life SMP. it is uncolored save for blocks of grey and white for the characters. bigB's bubbles are colored in light blue while pearl's are light yellow.

1: a mostly-blank page save for a small panel near the bottom, showing pearl and bigB standing next to each other, facing away from the viewer. pearl says, "cleo's currently working with scar and bubbles. unless they, i dunno, split."

2: two flashbacks are shown, one of bigB regretfully and distressedly attacking cleo, and one of pearl and cleo grinning with malice at each other. in the present, pearl says with a wistful smile, "but uh... she's okay." bigB looks at her with a smile.

3: pearl walks up to a tree and puts a hand on it as bigB asks her, "are we the only solo ones?" pearl scours the surroundings, saying, "i think so at the moment, yes. as far as i know, anyway." she looks back at bigB and grins. "yeah." bigB has a look of realization and the start of a smile, glowing.

4: they look straight at each other as bigB says, "pearl, i think this is the moment." there are closeups of their eyes, which are colored in. bigB smiles as pearl tilts her head and says, "is this- are we a family?" "family" is bolded.

5: bigB says "this could... oh my goodness, i'm so excited". it cuts to pearl leaning out of a lone doorway leading to the edge of a cliff. she looks down it and says, "is this a door to our death?" she looks back at bigB with a smirk as he shrugs and says bashfully, "i don't know what i was aiming for." "know" is bolded.

6: bigB looks to the side and puts a hand behind his neck shyly. "i was looking to start." "start" is bolded. pearl looks back at him. she closes her eyes, smiles, and nods, saying, "okay, i like the idea of that."

7: she continues, "let's start." they clasp hands in solidarity and press their foreheads together, grinning at each other. pearl says, "nosy neighbors."

8: the page is colored in blues and purples. the sky is dark as pearl and bigB stand next to each other, facing away from the viewer and looking up at a floating crafting table and obsidian block stacked on top of each other. white text above reads, "here we are."

BDubs winning Limited Life would be HILARIOUS from a lore perspective. here's this game that - in every aspect and iteration - is the brainchild of the Watchers (both us and Grian). and the first time, who wins? a runaway Watcher. the second time, who wins? a man who defied the Watchers at every turn. the third time, who wins? a woman who did the same thing.

so fourth time's gotta be the charm, right?

WRONG. the fourth time, it's some skrunkly little jerk (/pos) that doesn't upload, so We can't even See him. how goddamn hilarious would that be
