September - a soft goodbye to summer, whispered gently by the rustling leaves of autumn.
Excerpts from:
The Letters of Sylvia Plath by Sylvia Plath • The Return of the King by J.R.R. Tolkien • Song of the Simple Truth: The Complete Poems of Julia de Burgos by Julia de Burgos • Peggy Toney Horton • The Whole Story and Other Stories by Ali Smith • Albert Campus • To The Tune 'Soaring Clouds by Huang O. See the reason why I find Dante immensely relatable is because I too would cope with the pain of exile by writing a long self-indulgent self-insert fan fiction starring me and my favourite classical poet
lately, i have been afraid; not just of one thing or a couple, but of every thing all at once.
excerpts from my diary, g.b. 2026
hi, expect a new barrage of poetry tagged this way from my new diary, and possibly from some other journal entries of poetry that i am dedicated to completing this year. i have bought a lot of new books recently and really tried to find enjoyment in the experience of others similar and different from me, as well as to find peace in the simplest and least stressful things that i can do; many being writing and reading, watching and observing, learning and enduring.
as you all know, missus sylvia plath has always been a true friend of mine, in my mind and my life. reading her raw and unfiltered thoughts and portrayal of her experiences with bipolar disorder and struggles in life, as well as her deepest joys.
i am excited to begin this as well as sharing some fragments with you all!!!
just saw a post by @signedthemoon with this beautiful indented footnote idea, so thank you to this lovely writer for the inspo!
