Enjoying the Sun
A dog walk. A litter pick. A visit to the village pub. Enjoying nature.
It's been a productive day, doing something to help the environment, clean up around the country roads we use day-in, day-out and simply enjoying the weekend sun.
...and of course...taking some photos on the walk!
I pick up and bin 3-4 masks EVERY SINGLE DAY just in our neighbourhood. I always tell myself, that they just fell out of somebody's pocket, but I know that's just some of them ... We just can't keep it together, can we ...
People who flytip or dump rubbish in random places: be it by roads or in water or in other nature/park areas have no sense of courtesy or real thought for others. There’s almost no such thing as the ‘middle of nowhere’. People are everywhere. Someone has to deal with it eventually.
Not only do other people have to clean that stuff up for you, thus taking time away from more important things: but like when you dump things like say mannequins? You end up giving such people heart attacks because for a few seconds/minutes before can go and get a closer look they sometimes THINK THEY’VE FOUND A DEAD BODY.
FINALLY. A pencil the perfect size for batties.
Shit I picked up on my run today. There was a plastic bag with some trash. Somebody at least picked after themselves and then probably left/forgot the bag there. So I picked it up along with other stuff, mostly cans.
Why people just can't pick after themselves properly...

We followed up with our first litter pick. “Volunteers are being sought to help Stroud Rotary and the local councils with this exciting project to make the town smarter.” The Club is running…
