I’m glad to have a friend that doesn’t mind if I don’t speak to her, she’s just happy we’re seeing each other. Friends like that are so rare and special, I’m happy to have someone so understanding in my life ❤️

When you’re having a great day and someone gives you the tiniest insult and suddenly you’re depressed and anxious for the whole week.
When someone is talking to you and it’s boring. It takes so much energy to listen and to change your facial expression to look interested.
Happy Halloween! 👻🎃
Today can be a really stressful day for some people. Having strangers knocking on your door is quite scary, especially for those with bad anxiety (like myself). Just remember that you don’t need to answer the door if you don’t want to, there’s no pressure.
Here are a couple signs you can print off to stop trick or treaters knocking on your door:

For those of you who love Halloween and trick or treating, I wish you a great time! 👻💀🎃
Crowds...
For me, walking into a crowd is like waking into hell. People touching you, people shouting, people stepping on your toes, people banging into you, it’s awful. Crowds are so much sensory overload.
I avoid going to concerts, shows, shops, towns or literally anywhere crowded purely because when I do it usually ends with a meltdown or an anxiety attack. I really want to start going places without worrying about not coping. I have some ideas that I’m using to help myself and I want to share them incase they may help others too:
• Wearing headphones and listening to music. I find distracting myself from what’s going on around me is a big help (also headphones provide a lot of comfort for me).
• Trying to controll my breathing by taking slow, deep breaths.
• Wearing sunglasses. This is quite a new idea for me that I’m trying. I originally started trying it because I got very stressed seeing grafitti on street walls and I wanted a way to block it a little. I put sunglasses on and it gave me a sense of protection. I now find in any stressful situation having sunglasses on really helps.
• Controlling my time in a place and knowing when I’m leaving. I make sure I’m not there too long and I know in advance when things are happening. I hate sudden changes to my day or routine.
• Having someone I know with me like a friend or family member so if I do get too stressed I’m not on my own.
