For months it has always about your Japanese model friend, Kaidou Rin. Of course, Ryul never cared because if he’s always with the boiz then so can you be with your friends.

He loves you being supportive of your friends.

Except over the past week, he finally got a break from being an idol and got to hang out with you. Though, it was not the same.

An hour. He couldn’t even get an hour of alone time with you, because you’re already attached to the phone calling Kaidou. Every laugh, smile, frown was for him not Ryul,

But this time it was finally quiet.

“Hey…” Ryul tried getting your attention, something…but nothing. With a small frown he sat besides you. “Whatcha doing?” He already knew the answer.

“Texting Kaidou..” you did not even bothering looking up to see your own boyfriend face.

Ryul had enough.

There were only two days left until he’s back to countless dance pratices and recording for albums. He just needed you and it was showing.

“I can’t do this anymore..” he gritted his teeth together not even looking at you anymore just as you did to him.

You instantly looked up staring straight at him. “What..?”

“You know what I mean. I get a full week break from work and not even once do you spare me a glance.”

“What are you talking about? Yes! Yes i do!”

“No, you don’t. It’s always about Kaidou in some way or another. You just texting him a mintue ago.”

“Are you serious? Really? Your jealous?”

“obviously. I’m so tired of this! Can you at least put your phone down for one day and just actually be present with me. Then go back to Kaidou, I guess.” He was so upset he couldn’t even anymore.

“Yes, I actually can.” Looking into your eyes, Ryul did not find any lies. “I’m sorry. I got so caught up with him…we never got to be together just like we wanted.”

“Well, you still got 2 days to make it up. So get ready to be annoyed by me.” He smirk pulling you into a tight but gentle hug.

“I am already ready.”

The next two days were just Ryul annoying the hell out of you. But you wouldn’t have it any other way.

THE AMOUNT of times ohyul would skip class just to be with you was so high you would need more than two hands to count. Day by day your feelings for each other increased. From being strangers to knowing every little thing about each other. Haircuts, favorite outfit, favortie food and drinks you name it. If anyone had to guess, they would say both of you were a couple. Surprisingly (not really), though you guys were not a couple.

Winter, spring and summer went in a snap. Then fall had officially arrived.

The windy breeze was not in your favor that day. Forgetting to check the weather, you went to school in a skirt with short sleeves. Face, ears and nose bright red. Shiver to death. Sitting down at the desk you were to focused on producing your own body heat, your senses ignored the way a light scarf wrapped around you neck with a jacket including a warm hug.

“Ohyul! Scared the shit out of me!”

“Maybe if you weren’t dying from hypothermia..”

“shut up. Thank you.”

With a satisfied smirk, Ohyul turned his head down now facing you. It wasn’t awkward or weird because it was a normal thing to do.

“what?”

Soft lips shut you up real quick as the kiss made you melt instantly. Now this was definitely not normal between two best friends. Both of you knew it was more than just that at this point.

”Be my girlfriend..?”

“Thought you’d never ask.”

Tiny dates were the best. Because both of you could do anything you wanted without an agenda. The love both of you held for each other stayed throughout all of it.

Months flew quickly as so did the relationship. Neither of them wanted to admit it. But it was exactly the saying of “right person, wrong time.” Always being together was the problem.

None of you knew how to breathe.

Until 3 years later.

Senior year. Many people come and go or some had stayed. And this time, one of you would actually stay and leave.

Senior year, many classmates became your friends. It was a tad bit chaotic but very memorable. But in the end it was to late and you had lost Ohyul the only person who truly understood you.

Ohyul was the exact opposite of you.

Quiet and self-reserved.

No one would believe the two of you were a couple.

Way to different and completely different.

You refuse to believe it though, until it actually became true.

“Ohyul, you good?” He quitely sat besides you lost in thought.

For a while, you were the one starting the conversation with little response from him. He start becoming distant and you knew it yourself.

“yeah.”

No, both of you knew it was lie.

“Ever since senior year started, you became so distant. I get being an introvert but you don’t even talk to me in general..”

“We’re to different.” He finally admitted.

“But we weren’t last year?” You scoffed in disbelief. “Are you really going to believe what other people say about our relationship?”

“What? No.” Small pause. “Come on, you and I changed a lot this year. You know it’s true. I’m sorry for being a shitty boyfriend, hope you find someone way better.” He quietly got up and walked the other way.

The rest of senior high became a drag and nothing felt the same.

Graduation pass and you were off to college.

And Ohyul? Who knows, ‘cause you sure didn’t.
