I've been working on this since last Friday, it took a while to finish because of distractions, I apologize for that.
At any rate, a few days ago, I've become a firm believer of Kakyoin being a food lover that grew during his travels, in both the journey and his family's holidays. I say that after rewatching a bit of Stardust Crusaders' "Tower of Gray" and "Death Thirteen" episodes and rereading @goatspiracy headcanons on Tumblr.
Here's a list of foods he ate or would've eaten in the series:
Tonkotsu Miso Ramen, a classic dish from his home country of Japan
Fresh Spring Rolls, a summertime favorite from Vietnam
Loco Moco, a hamburger dish from the Hawaiian Islands
Kimbap, a sushi-like dish popular in South Korea
Curry with rice and naan bread, a spicy delicacy from India, as seen in the "Emperor and Hanged Man" arc.
Congee with pork and century egg, a type of porridge popular in China and Hong Kong, as described by Kakyoin in the Silver Chariot arc.

Loco Moco for dinner. Hamburger patty, pan fried in the cast iron skillet, served on white rice with beef and mushroom gravy, and topped with two fried eggs. Pure bliss.
Made Loco moco for the first time and it came out so gooooood. its like warm and savory.
took a stab at making Loco Moco on Sunday, and it came out fantastic—
was going to make it again last night since I had leftover beef patties, but I didn’t have the energy to make the gravy again (since allergies means I gotta make it from scratch) (didn’t make enough to have leftovers)
