All three Ewoks from the forest moon of Endor: Paploo was the Ewok that stole a speeder, leading off some of the scout troopers, Logray was a Chief Shaman, and Teebo sent the messages to the other tribes urging them to aid in the fight!

u've probably been asked & answered this a MILLION times already but I'd looooove for you to share your go-to brightening/contrast & sharpening/noise reduction settings bc you make some of the best-looking gifs on the entire website actually

OKAY a) not true at all!! but i appreciate the compliment so much. there's really no secret behind my sharpening or giffing or coloring. i promise. what i do is use 4k videos of the highest quality i can find. that's it. if you use those heavy files that i use, trust me, your sets will look a 1000x better than mine. but if you still wanna know, i sharpen at .4px / 500%, then i add another smart sharpening layer at 20px / 20%. then i add g.blur at 1.0 and reduce the opacity to 25%. that's my general settings for now. if it's still very blurry, i add a .3px / 500% layer sharpening on top, and then reduce the opacity to 25%. and for brightening and contrast, i genuinely never use that setting. i use levels and exposure and adjust as needed. and i rely on color filter to color correct.

The first episode of the Star Wars inspired cartoon Ewoks premiered on September 7, 1985. The series, along with the similarly Star Wars inspired Droids, was one of the most expensively produced cartoons in the 1980's. The events of the series took place before their introduction in Star Wars Episode VI Return of the Jedi. While the main character Wicket was played by Warwick Davis in ROTJ, he was voiced by Jim Henshaw (and Denny Delk in the second season) in the cartoon. The first episode featured the Tulga Witch Morga (Jackie Burroughs) plans to burn down the forest on the Endor moon. The episode featured other RTOJ characters Chief Chirpa (movie Jane Busby/ cartoon George Buza/Rick Cimino), Teebo (movie Jack Purvis/ cartoon Eric Peterson/James Cranna) and Logray (movie Mike Edmonds /cartoon Douglas Chamberlain). The series introduced new characters such as Aunt Bozzie (Pam Hyatt), Deej (Richard Donat), Dulok Shaman (Don Francks), Hoom (John Stocker), King Gorneesh (Dan Hennessey), Kneesa (Cree Summer/Jeanne Reynolds), Latara (Taborah Johnson/Sue Murphy), Malani (Alyson Court), Paploo (Paul Chato), Punt (Rob Cowan), Shodu (Esther Scott), Urgah (Melleny Melody), Weechee (Greg Swanson), Willy (John Stocker), and Winda (Leanne Coppen). There was a post I saw going through my circle of mutuals a while ago saying that acab includes eliminating the part of you that feels compelled to boss people around & monitor them and I think of it literally every time I have to perform, like, bare minimum requirements of my job. I work in a cinema and I think of that post literally every time I have to challenge people for ID for movies or follow kids into age-restricted stuff that they sneak into without tickets to remove them, as a legal and safeguarding concern, because so many of my mutuals reblogged it. But the thing is I personally am very aware that my behaviour is a) absolutely not racially biased, b) has no chance of resulting in physical violence, c) mostly concerns children and their actual physical and mental wellbeing, and d) is something I've been in trouble for failing to enforce before. I always knew that post rubbed me the wrong way but I never really knew why I until I just saw YOUR post and realised it's weird and insensitive and racist to equate that type of job-mandated monitoring of people to, like, racial profiling that often results in violence or even death and where those in power are not just encouraged to resort to those ends, but whose job protects them in instances where their power is abused. Being someone who just has an impulse to monitor misbehaviour, especially for the genuine wellbeing of those being monitored, is such a weird thing to compare to BEING A COP

i think "kill the cop in your head" can be a decent slogan for stuff like getting over a personal bias of legality = morality, but what you described shows that it can easily get a little. off topic. and not very important at all. especially compared to systemic racism.

it gets even worse when ive seen other white people on this website calling black bloggers and other poc "fancops" or "morality police" for CALLING OUT RACISM!! as well as other stuff like fanart, fanfic, etc. and they fail to recognize that they can literally stop engaging with both A. fandom spaces and B. internet interactions at all times, as opposed to poc who obviously cannot change their skin color. its a false equivalency that fails to recognize why all cops are bastards: their complacency and servitude of capital and bigotry.
