Contrary to some popular headcanons (and some comics as well, depending on the writer), I believe Bruce is indeed proficient at cooking.
But since Alfred cooked for him most of his life, most of the recipes he's good at and comfortable making are the ones he learned traveling the world during his training days, ranging from regional foods his masters taught him to whatever he and Khoa could make isolated in the mountains.
So, while he knows how to cook, most of what he likes to cook doesn't exactly appeal to the typical American palate, so he doesn't cook meals for friends and family very often, Clark and Lois aren't interested in trying his exotic mushrooms soup.
