I've been thinking about Supergirl again and yeah trauma aside I can 100% see even more reasons Kara went to a red sun for her birthday.

Look I've said before that Clark and Kara are lasts in different ways and one way this was shown in the movie is them meeting, knowing the other is family but being incapable of communicating with each other.

Clark feels a tie to his kryptonian heritage through his powers cause they are caused by it and he never knew different.

For Kara they separate her from her identity as a kryptonian and being human. Honestly for her that has to be some form of body horror. Can you imagine loosing almost everything of your family, people, and culture and ending up someplace new and now part of your metabolic process is photosynthesis. You cant even look in the mirror and see your people. You might look the same but then there is a bit too much red in your eyes orcfrost on your breath or gravity isnt holding you right.

So yeah if I were her id want to be on a planet where I look in the mirror and I look kryptonian and when I ate or drank I felt kryptonian. Even after some healing.

Honestly the only thing ger powers probably tie her to in her mind is Clark. And I think that could be a beautiful talk after some healing.

i wonder if the team ever got clarity on the fact that parker very much did not see a horse kill a clown. i still think about this cause it seems like maybe the team sort of just accepted that it happened? cause yeah, sure, it’s improbable, but this is parker and everything about her is improbable. but then eventually she might recount the story years later and start explaining it like "yeah so the horse punched the clown and then tackled him-" and you can basically hear the record scratch sound effect as the rest of them realize.
