Locke dating headcannons

I think that Locke would be pretty catchy with his words. He got that sass in his voice lines. I dont think he would be a playboy but he definitely would act like one if he likes someone specific.

He definitely has trust issues. It would be hard to get accepted by Locke. Especially into his heart. He cannot risk opening his heart for someone when all he knows is danger.

But he would be genuine when you get to know him better. The sarcasm and "funny" personality leaves itself to a more grounded person. He understands and knows pain more than anybody. He knows not to comment on something especially if its about the person he loves.

Locke is pretty open about the job he does. And its not a pretty one. In a world full of lies and darkness, he forgot how to truly relax. You would be the only person that he can fully let go of his guards.

And even so, it would take quite amount of time to convince him to let go. He knows his feelings are true but his mind would not let him. Being with him needs patience if you want to see his true side.

He would be the type to joke about his pain. When you two fight over something, he would use sarcasm instead of real words. That might be a bit of a problem.

But he is easy to convince when you show him that you are sorry. Just a hug or a kiss instantly melts his walls away. He is unguarded to your affection. He knows that you are weaponizing it but he couldnt care less.

♤ Yone loves kissing you, but the frequency with which he does it is not proportional to how much he loves it.

And that makes every moment of the kiss even more pleasant for him — Yone ends up being drawn in by the gratification of finally having the chance to kiss you in that moment.

♤ It is mainly because of his occupation with Heartsteel; he is far too responsible to postpone his tasks with the group and the recordings.

Do not be too hard on him if Yone does not give you more than a quick peck for several days in a row — he truly wants to linger and enjoy the moment, and he will make up for it as soon as he can; he only needs your patience and understanding.

♤ Besides that, Yone values discretion — and the media around the two of you makes him even more attentive to it.

Yone does not want the media turning your relationship into something vulgar, superficial, or a cheap product.

♤ Yone always gives a soft smile when he receives a kiss from you on the cheek as you pass by him while he is busy. It is like opening a window to let fresh air into a suffocating room.

♤ Yone almost never asks for a kiss. Maybe that is a flaw?

He may be burning with longing for it, but Yone will not say a single word about it, only wait for the next moment he considers appropriate.

♤ Yone knows how to keep the balance between the intense and the delicate; he knows how to kiss you with a passion that makes your knees tremble, but he can do it without taking it into a lascivious tone.

He does not do it on purpose; Yone is not trying to make you sigh on purpose — intoxicated with passion. It is natural; it is simply Yone’s way of making external what he feels for you, but what is usually kept beneath his characteristic silence and discretion.

♤ He does not exactly have pet names for you.

In truth, it is almost a rarity for Pyke to even call you by your name — a nickname, then?, not even to mention.

♤ It is not that he thinks it is ridiculous or cheesy.

Pyke does not even have an opinion about it.

He simply does not care.

Not even a little — that is what it seems like; that is what he believes.

♤ Pyke, when addressing you, simply comes up and speaks.

♤ Sometimes he sees you as a little fish.

In the earthly sea, among the schools of people, once he had analyzed you carefully, Pyke could not get out of his head the image of a defenseless fish among sharks.

Yes. He does not have the habit of calling you by pet names, but in his head, the idea of a little fish will echo whenever Pyke finds you lost out there.

Once in a while, he even lets it slip, mainly at times when the voices in his head are strangely less noisy.

— You shouldn’t be here, little fish.

— What is this, little fish?

— I’ve seen monsters the size of islands, little fish. You are not going to scare me with this.

But, again, this is rare.

♤ Do not be hurt by him not having this form of affection. I guarantee that, in compensation, the few times that rough and deep voice calls your name, every hair on the back of your neck will stand up.

And when Pyke lowers his voice even more, in a deeply serious tone, and calls you by your nickname? Oh, heavens. Maybe you melt right there and Pyke will not even understand why.

♤ The first time YOU called him by some affectionate nickname like that, Pyke froze; it was the strangest thing he could expect from you — and he already thought it was VERY strange that you insisted on saying you were in love with him.

Pyke, that day, slowly turned toward you as if he were about to face an unknown abyssal creature, analyzing you from head to toe, finding it strange that you thought that kind of thing suited him.

♤ He does not know how to say whether he likes it or not.

It is strange and uncomfortable, without a doubt.

But coming from you, it makes something turn over inside him, warm and pleasant — and because of that, almost despicable.

But Pyke does not argue; a harmless little fish calling him “love” is almost comical.

♤ Repeating: Pyke does not care much. And the little internal reaction it causes in him, Pyke does not let show so easily.

You can be as sugary as you want with the nicknames you give him, Pyke will do little more than raise an eyebrow at some of them — but he will answer to any one you call him by.

♤ Before an established relationship, Locke carries his own jealousy with irony toward you:

- Oh, dear. Are you already replacing me with another?

- We are not together, Locke.

- Are you really going to keep up that charm?, how cute.

Or then:

- ... You like THAT type of guy? At this rate I won’t even need to try very hard.

And even:

- It’s dangerous to walk around alone, you know?

- But I was with...

- Yeah, yeah. I know. The same as being alone, dear.

♤ After you are in a relationship, jealousy and protection mix a little.

And, without even realizing it himself, a spark of insecurity also adds itself to the jealousy if you happen to show some correspondence to that other guy beyond innocent casualness.

Since childhood, Locke got used to being perceived by the others around him more as a weapon than as a person.

I mean, you really do see the man in him and not only the lethal weapon specialized in killing demons, right?

♤ Even after you are together, Locke still does not let the jealousy weigh on you.

♤ He does feel jealousy, yes, and to his own displeasure, Locke feels it more than he would like or imagined he would feel.

Even so, he mostly keeps it safe, away from the sunlight, hidden behind relaxed and easygoing ironies.

♤ A deeper degree in the seriousness of this jealousy is when Locke starts speaking lower and closer to you after the usual irony.

Something like:

- I almost thought you had forgotten that you came out with me.

And after getting closer to caress your cheek — disguising that, this way, he was “cleaning” the spot on your skin where the other guy had greeted you with a kiss — Locke lowers his voice, tilting his head and staring at you with one eyebrow raised above his glasses:

- Better establish some boundaries with that guy, don’t you think? I wanted to do that myself, but you are much kinder than I am with these things.

♤ The deepest step of jealousy is when Locke simply says nothing. No irony. No joke. No warning at all.

He simply stands there, serious, staring at you and staring at the other guy; even with his gaze hidden by the lenses of his glasses, it is possible to be certain of the displeasure Locke is feeling in that moment.

This is the worst one because he closes himself off. It is the last stage after all the provocations and ironies. It is the most delicate point to make him turn back, because if it reached that point, it means that at some moment you had to voluntarily cross some boundary; you were the one who deliberately fed some less innocent interaction; you were the one who sought something you should not have been seeking there.

♤ Now, if the one who crossed the boundary was the other guy, well, what can be done?, just breathe in relief when Locke appears speaking casually with you, louder than necessary, passing an arm around your shoulder or waist and placing his own body as a barrier between the two of you; meanwhile he pushes the other guy back, with much more force than necessary; Locke meets his gaze only once, the glasses resting low on his nose, the coldness of his blue irises sending a shiver down the other’s spine.

Locke, now, is not joking.

But you do not need to be scared; after the situation is resolved, Locke is over you much more explicitly worried than usual, wanting to check if you are okay, if the guy really did nothing against you — physically or morally.

Locke will insist and prolong this subject until he is convinced that you were not hurt in absolutely anything.

♤ Viego’s “flirting” is, in truth, the open declaration he makes to you when he wants to express his obsessive love for you.

♤ Viego’s "flirting" is the remaining courtship of what he learned at court when he was still alive.

It is cornering you between a wall and black mist when you barely know each other yet, but he already has your name engraved in his heart, and placing your trembling hand in his firm and cold hand, and bringing your fingers to his lips and calling you not by your name, but by the title with which Viego sees you: “my queen.”

♤ In other words, it is not really flirting.

♤ It is a direct and transparent expression — even if distorted and obsessive — of the love Viego now has for you.

♤ OMG, how to choose a first kiss option for Jhin?

Simply, he would spend as much time as he could visualizing it, living it internally, correcting flaws, making it perfect...

♤ Not romantically perfect the way we are used to in books and movies. Jhin would not like such a predictable cliché.

♤ He does not want only the kiss — Jhin wants to be engraved in your memory in such a way that, even if he himself ends up dead, he remains alive in your mind in a way no other man could ever occupy that place.

♤ Secondly, Jhin wants the sensation. Not only the mark in your memory, in your recollections, but he wants to mark your emotional memory too.

He does not worry only about the kiss, Jhin will set up the whole scene: from the environment around you, to the scent that will surround you both, to the light under which you will be standing — or not.

♤ ( I cannot find enough words to summarize the abyss of passion that Jhin intends to engrave into you with only one kiss.)

How's everything going? I hope you're doing well! I'm about to go start college soon, and I took psychology! So~

Kayn with a psychologist reader. I feel like he would be so confused AND intrigued at the same time. He may be a bit stereotypical, constantly asking his significant other on what he's thinking and how he feels. Yet, bit by bit, it sort of becomes a consultation on how to be better, if what he feels is valid. AND, I feel like he would be the type to just be the yapper while you listen to anything he says, then would ask, "is that valid?"

OH, I feel like he would not care about books (oh, please, we know he hates reading without the visuals) but would always carry the thick hardbound books they carry around, and would even joke on how lucky his significant other is to have a strong man carry it all (he's honored and happy, that's all).

Anywho, I hope you're doing okay!! You can write this at any time you want, or discard it. Either way, I miss dada Kayn, and I entrust your writing skills 🙂‍↕️

Kayn with a psychologist reader

Kayn would think that psychology is a form of defense or some sort. Something like the barrier he keeps between Rhaast and his mind. And he is not entirely wrong. Just a bit off.

We all know how fucked up his mental is. And trying to diognise Kayn would be your biggest nightmare. So you just sit and listen to him. Even if its complete nonsense.

At first, he would think that you're studying psychology for mind games. Manipulating, hypnotizing or things like that. He would be confused when you laugh and tell him that its not the case. Because if not, why would you even bother, right?

Kayn would get why you're studying psychology after you explain why he was doing things he didnt even realize doing. Like why he covers his pain with sarcasm or why he feeds himself the delusion of being the weapon all the time.

Then, he realizes what you are doing is way more dangerous than mind games. At first, he doesnt wants to face those ugly truths of himself. He would avoid your questions that lands perfectly on his old wounds. Because someone getting close to those wounds irritates him more than anything.

But after some time, Kayn would listen to you and try to quit his bad habbits and old memories. Not because he wants to get better but because you told him to. He hates that he cannot say no to you.

Sometimes he gets unsure if what he feels is what it should be. So he asks you about them. He never really thought about his emotions since he mostly didnt need them. But he gets noticeably lighter when you tell him that what he feels is normal or valid.

He would definitely try to learn what you do. He is the one that mastered every weapon in the Shadow Order afterall. But someone has to teach Kayn in order for him to learn something. Studying something from a book with more pages than he had ever seen in a book was not his ideal way of learning.

He admits that he took a peek inside your books tho. He would be constantly asking if he has some kind of mental illness that he learned from the book, which he definitely has. It would be a total hazard to get him to shut up.

But he loves to carry those books around for you. He likes when he does something for you in general. Carrying your books around is the bare minimum he can do. Besides, he is proud of you for being able to understand all of these at the first place.

He is the brawn to your brain, so expect for him to joke about it. Like how you need a strong man to carry your heavy books and all. Dont worry, he would shut up the second you try to lecture him about his sarcastic jokes.
