My heart breaks for anyone who has to fall asleep without the person they love because of that person's self destructive tendencies and choices they make because of them that force them apart. My heart breaks for anyone who has to put the pieces of themselves back together because a damaged person broke them and now they are forced to learn how to live without them. Self love is so important because accepting yourself as damaged and not trying to fix it just creates an endless cycle of hurt, saying sorry doesnt cut it, it's a scapegoat, I'm sorry, I'm damaged is not good enough, it's an excuse its cheap . Everyday we must look to improve, to get help so we stop the cycle. Learn to love ourselves so fiercely that another person can never take your light from you. To anyone recovering and healing your pieces may be cracked now but the universe will reward you and will give you someone with the strength to keep your pieces together.
