Seeing as how there are now more fatherhood headcanons in this blog... What do you think Scratchman Apoo's child with a Long-legged tribe woman look like? XD

Here’s the thing tho, (and apologies because this may not be the answer you were expecting lmao) when it comes to things like this we have to ask ourselves how genetics in the One Piece universe even work. Are arms with an extra segment a dominant or recessive trait? What about the genes for super long legs like those of Blue Gilly? Depending on how those genes work in particular (and I’m going to oversimplify here and only address dominant/recessive because I’m not a geneticist) there are 4 different potential genetic matchups from such a pair.

So if Apoo had a child with a Longleg Tribe woman these are the possibilities: Longleg and Longarm traits (both dominant), Longleg trait only (Longleg dominant, Longarm recessive), Longarm trait only (Longleg recessive, Longarm dominant), or neither (both recessive).

Something fun to think about: if they’re recessive genes you can get fun situations where two regular-looking people got together and SURPRISE!! Y’all both had Longarm Tribe ancestors! Enjoy your extra-jointed-arms bundle of joy! <3<3<3

Mod: Was discussing this with a friend before making that reply. If he indeed bent them weirdly, his arms would´ve looked noticeably shorter, wrists barely reaching the belly button

So I figure he´s actually able to somehow dislodge the first part at will. 

If this is something any LA can do, I don´t know. Let´s pretend he´s the weird(est) one.

Also, fair warning: This blog (as most ask blogs, really) has “spoilers” for anime only fans. IIRC this particular dealie with Ideo should be shown in about 3 episodes (if the pacing is 1 ep per chapter)
