I think that, when clones are in large groups they can function as a hive mind, controlled by the most powerful of them

Vesper would be the 'leader' in his pack (thinking of calling the leaders 'voivodes'), which means he could take control of all the boys (and Niko) if he wanted to, but he chooses not to because he wants the boys to have their agency and develop their own personalities

I also think there will be a handful of strong-willed clones called 'autocrats', these clones can't be controlled by a voivode but they can't take control of other clones either

the 'autocrats' are not part of Vesper's pack or the Bastard Sons, they are completely independent and are often agents of chaos
