Saw your Damien x Darlin' posts and now I can't stop thinking about Angel and David adopting a baby Freelancer and I don't know why
Aww, baby Freelancer.
They'd certainly have a more understanding home life, though the differences between Shifter puberty and chaotic, unpredictable Freelancer puberty are fun to imagine. Angel's having been with David, and by extension, the Pack long enough that they have a pretty good understanding of "magic stuff," but still, raising a child is a unique set of challenges.
David would be. Such a good dad. I'm a little teary thinking about it. He'd definitely be overprotective. Angel would have to reel him in a little when FL gets older, telling him, "It's okay to want them to be safe and close, but you have to let them experience life, too." But he'd be so good once he settled into the role. Doting and encouraging and doing all the cool dad stuff like carrying them and getting ice cream and playing games.

Lasko Goes to the Gym Episode 1: He’s Warming Up, I’m Warming Up
Damien had been pleasantly surprised when Lasko took him up on his invitation to join him in working out, under the pretense that it helps Damien relax and feel centered, so it might do the same for Lasko. When Lasko arrives in shorts, a tank top, and a nervous smile, Damien’s breath catches.
Lasko explains that he’s self-conscious. Damien assures him that everyone else is too occupied by their own workouts and/or self-consciousness to notice.
“Besides,” he says primly, hand hovering over Lasko’s back, “you don’t have anything to be ashamed of.”
Lasko’s eyes widen. “Huh?”
“Nothing. You’re fine, you’ll do fine. Come on.”
Huxley joins them a little later for his own workout, as well as to be Lasko’s personal cheerleader. (He’s better at it than Damien, who is more like a conflicted coach.) Huxley doesn’t mind telling Lasko that he’s doing well, that he looks good, that he’s going to get “so ripped.” Damien gets increasingly flustered as the night goes on.

when the kids are in highschool, and Honorary Big Bro Harrington™ is visiting, lucas and steve constantly argue over which sport is better: football, or basketball?
mike agrees with steve just to annoy lucas, dustin and will say football, and max also thinks basketball ("traitor!" "suck it, stalker"), so el has the deciding vote
