I have been wanting to highlight an organization I recently became aware of the #luckyfinproject I recently received my #tenfingersareoverrated tee shirt. Which I think is absolutely awesome! Lucky fins mission is to CELEBRATE. EDUCATE. SUPPORT. UNITE. A Non-Profit aimed to raise awareness & support those with an upper limb difference.Creates a support network for parents across the U.S. and around the world. Links parents to medical information. Provides education on limb differences. (Note organization information is the from website.) http://www.luckyfinproject.org/ I have to say I am thrilled to see that there is an an organization like lucky fin in existence because growing I didn't know many people with limb differences . I felt completely out of place especially as teenager. Someone looks comfy, huh? Well, Finley your aunt has been doing a lot of that as well- staying comfortable. I have GOT to get my butt in gear. I may have picked the worst possible time to get insanely busy and train for a half marathon. 

My lame excuse for why I haven’t started training yet is that when I first posted this, I was traveling for work and did not have the chance to run (tennis shoes at home). My travel back home was a complete nightmare and really messed up my sleep schedule. By the time I got back and settled, it was time to pack for Christmas. I spent so much quality time with my family over Christmas, it was awesome. 

I’m leaving for Colorado on the 4th for my best friends wedding, and get back on the 7th right before midnight. I promise I’ll start training that Monday! 

Together, we have contributed $700 to The Lucky Fin Project. I’m so proud of us and excited to see where the next 4 months can lead us.
