Initially, I thought of Mags being a hand that guides Luminous through the dark, but now, I don’t really see it that way. I imagine Luminous learning to jump into the Underworld to meet Mags there, which shows her there’s light.

Luminous is such an interesting character and villain to me despite what little screentime he got. A overlord of light so unbelievably petrified of the dark, he’s made it his mission to eliminate it from Skylands entirely. A mission that might’ve started with good intent, sure. Yet his fear drove him to do anything, to destroy anything or anyone in his way in the pursuit of ultimate light. Luminous didn’t care if he was labeled as a villain or madman for doing such. He doesn’t care as he believes what he’s doing is RIGHT. He doesn’t care that he was banished to Sunscraper Spire by Knight Light for doing what he did. He cares about nothing but feeling SAFE. I don’t believe Luminous is truly evil. He’s a man who was so consumed by his own paranoia and rage, it made him do unspeakable things in his own bout of twisted righteousness. He just wants to be safe. He just wants to be at peace.
He RUNS INTO THE GODDAMN PORTAL WHEN YOU TRAP HIM. NO OTHER VILLAIN IN THE GAME DOES THAT.
I wanna write a short fic of his redemption after he was Trapped and he learns to make friends and get over his fears and AAAA THIS DUDE NEEDS THERAPY.I WANNA SEE HIM HAPPY😭 he’s only known malice and loneliness being stuck in Sunscraper Spire for Eon knows how long I wanna give him a hug.
