dividers by @cafekitsune!
Lee Seokmin had no idea how frustrating he was to your existence.
He was the epitome of work husband. Your cubbie mate had the habit of bringing you a fresh pastry from the small shop near the office every morning accompanied with a cup of iced coffee, just how you liked it. How he learned your order was something you still questioned, but you appreciated the motion.
Seokmin was a fan favorite on the fifth floor of your marketing team. Every morning, he greeted whoever he walked past with that killer smile of his, the singles of the office eyeing him carefully. You heard the whispers from your coworkers; everyone wanted Seokmin. Your coworker Dohyun had a smug look on his face, already plotting how to catch his attention. Something about bending over the printer and acting like he needed help.
You couldn't help but snort at his stupid plan over lunch at your favorite place nearby, chatting with your other colleague and friend Meera.
"Listen, I don't know if that man is just straight or there's a little sugar in the tank but I've got to find out if I can change him."
You and Meera laugh. Dohyun was never short of confidence.
"Dohyun, you can't just derail her plans to make him her work hubby!" Meera exclaimed, your number one supporter of your delusions.
"Yeah? How's your eye contact-ulationship going so far?"
You roll your eyes hard as Meera sputters a laugh next to you.
"I'll have you know he brings me, only me, coffee every morning. Who else in the office does he do that for?" You glare, daring him to say anything back as he shrugs, taking a bite of his sandwich. "Oh okay, that's what I thought."
You could say you were delusional but why else would Seokmin go out of his way to bring you treats on the daily?
That very morning he strolled up to your desk, his signature smile radiating as he gently shook the bag filled with your breakfast.
"Good morning!" He beamed at you, placing the bag and iced macchiato down on your desk. You smiled back at him, his brown eyes glowing brightly.
"Morning Min, how's your morning going?" You spoke sweetly, your voice going up an octave intentionally.
"Well considering it's only 8am, it's been good so far! The bakery started rolling out their spring lineup today!" He pointed towards the bag as you listened intently. Anyone who walked past and looked at you could see how you hung onto every word coming from his mouth.
"I got you a strawberry cherry blossom pastry, it's to die for."
"Thank you honey, you're too sweet!" You cooed, the nickname unaffecting him and he just grinned.
"Any time! I'll bring more tomorrow but I have a meeting in 10, I'll catch you later!"
You watched him walk off towards the meeting rooms with a sigh.
Were you really gonna have to start calling him baby to get it through his head?
After bickering with Dohyun about whether to carry out his ridiculous plan or not, the three of you finished up your lunch and headed back to work.
You spent the rest of your work day responding to emails and making adjustments to the weekly spreadsheets. You catch a glimpse of Seokmin coming back to his cubicle around mid day. Keeping your eyes trained to him so he felt your gaze, he makes eye contact and offers a small smile as he sits down with a sigh.
"Day full of meetings huh?" You poke your head over the divider, looking down at Seokmin with his glasses off, pinching the bridge of his nose. He usually didn't make his stress known but you knew he was overloaded with a new product campaign at the moment. Your brain churned with an idea, fighting to keep the smirk off your face as you cooked up a plan.
"Yeah.. just trying to touch things up before the roll out date. This might be the project that gets me a promotion finally." He gazes back at you. You swore you would get lost in his eyes before you cleared your throat, ready to put your plan in motion.
"That's great Seokmin! I mean, considering how important this promotion is for you is there anything I can do to help?"
"Actually.. I might take up your offer!" His head tilts as you could physically see him thinking. "Another set of eyes could help with anything I would be missing."
You damn near jumped for joy.
"Wonderful! How can I be of assistance?" You step out your cubbie, leaning against the wall dividing the two spaces. His eyes fall upon your legs briefly before turning back to his computer, going over the specifics of his design.
You come close to him, leaning over as you rest your elbows on his desk, claiming you needed to see better. You were so close you knew he could smell your perfume and the fresh scent of your hair products.
"Hmm.. What if we sharpen this sentence up a bit, change the background color and add another divider?" You toss a glance back at him, his eyes lingering across your face momentarily before he mulls over your words.
"I trust your vision!" He smiles, hands moving quick over the keyboard to add changes.
You stand up and place a hand along the back of his chair, awfully close to him. If you did this with anyone else, they could've picked up on your body language. This was Seokmin however, the man probably needed a flashing neon light saying ’I like you please let me sit on your face!!!!’ to get the clue.
You gave him pointers as the work day came to an end, moving back to your own cubbie to shut down your computer and start packing up.
"Do you have any plans later?" You hear your name as Seokmin is standing across from you, his glasses back on again as he blinks, waiting for your response.
You feel like your moment has finally come. Your months of flirting has come to fruition and he was asking you on a date finally.
"N-No!" Your voice coming out higher pitched than you wanted. "I don't have anything going on today." He nods, running a hand through his dark hair.
"Nice! Let's go grab some dinner! As a thank you for helping with my project." He zips up his work bag, slinging it over his shoulder as he looks down at you, your jaw falling slack.
"What? Did I spill coffee on my sweater?" He looks down frantically searching the navy pullover. You regain your composure and bump your hip against his, grabbing him and directing him towards the elevators.
"No cutie, I wasn't expecting you to ask me out though." You take a bolder approach, waiting for the doors to slide open.
"Ah! Well, It's more so a thank you for being such a good friend. I'll treat you!"
You were going to bash your head into a fucking wall. The elevator doors can close around your head at this point.
Good friend? Was he friendzoning you? Right…
Dinner with Seokmin was at a Thai restaurant, one of the best in the area. You ordered drunken noodles and he ordered pad thai to split both dishes amongst yourselves. You rambled about nonsense at work, how his meetings went, and the plans you were making to hang out that weekend with friends.
Never missing an opportunity to compliment him or flirt, he would just smile and say thank you, or "You're so sweet!", softly saying your name with a smile.
You honestly were contemplating straight up telling him you wanted to fuck him. His puppy eyes made it hard to pay attention to half of what he was saying, your mind wandering off into a dangerous place often.
"Earth to Y/N? Did you hear what I said?" He snickered at you as you snapped back to reality.
"No Min, I'm sorry. Can you repeat?"
He continued to giggle, shaking his head with a quick bite of noodle. "I said," He finished chewing, a small smile forming. "What time did you want to meet us on Friday?"
"Oh! I'll probably get there around eight."
He nodded, reaching over with a napkin to wipe the side of your mouth. You felt your body freeze up, his gaze fixated on your lip and the light brush of his fingertips along your face had you feeling faint.
You needed to get a grip and stop acting like a Victorian woman.
"Okay eight sounds perfect!" He continued like he didn't just cause your brain to short circuit, pulling his arm back and continuing to slurp his noodles.
There was no way he was this oblivious. You thought he was putting up a front, but Seokmin genuinely was missing all the flags. You needed to step your game up and immediately.
The next day at work you were bent down in the copier room, the printer acting up right as you needed important documents for your meeting in an hour.
"Fuck me, why does this always happen to me." You mumble, banging on the sides frustrated. Bending over you made sure the printer actually was plugged in— Soonyoung had unplugged it one too many times lately; when you heard someone huff a laugh behind you.
"Do you need help?"
You throw a glance over your shoulder to see Seokmin with his eyebrows up in his hairline, an enormous grin on his face.
Your face suddenly felt hot as you realized you quite literally were bent over the printer, ass poking up in your pencil skirt.
Dohyun was gonna be so pissed when you told him you unintentionally stole his idea.
"I- No I'm fine, the printer is just fucking with me." You straighten up with a huff of frustration. Seokmin pokes your side, his finger leaving a searing heat as he moves to press random buttons on the printer. Moments later, the familiar sound of papers coming out filled the room, Seokmin nodding to himself proudly.
"Fixed it, just had to do some maintenance real quick."
You felt dumb now, anybody could've pressed some buttons and fixed that easily.
"Thanks Min.." You felt sheepish for once, as he clicked his teeth, reassuring you most people didnt know how to work this printer here.
"Sorry you had to see me bent over the printer like that." You joke, noticing the way his eyes widened half a fraction as he waved his hands frantically.
"No, no it's okay! I didn't even think about that-" His eyes shifted down before he cleared his throat, mumbling something about needing to check his spreadsheet before he bid you farewell.
You were going to take that as a victory, the slight acknowledgment to your compromising position and how flustered he got.
Seokmin - 0. You - 1 .
Thursday morning you left a string of post it notes on his desk, getting in a bit earlier than Seokmin that morning.
'Are you http? Cus without you I am ://'
'I know you're busy, but please add me to your list of things to do.'
You were being a complete corn ball, facepalming as that was the best your brain could come up with running on four hours of sleep at 7:50am. You knew it would make him at least laugh, Seokmin loved corny shit.
When the object of your affections walked in throwing 'good mornings' left and right, you fought the smile off your lips.
"Good morning!" He said your name sweetly, the usual coffee and treat in his hand as you took them with a wide grin.
His attention was suddenly on his desk as he sat his own drink down, a confused look on his face.
"I know you're busy.." You heard him mumble out loud, eyes scanning the post its. A faint blush spread across his face as he laughed, amused at the cheesy pick up lines. That man had proofread your handwritten documents multiple times, you knew he would recognize your handwriting in a heartbeat.
"Did you see who left these? God this is hilarious!"
You felt your eye twitch, opting to take a slow sip of your coffee and shrug at Seokmin instead of crashing out.
"You don't recognize the handwritting?" You full send, you didn't want to remain hidden any longer.
"Hmm not really? Maybe it came from Minji on the sixth floor?"
Lee Seokmin was gonna cause you to rip your hair out and he had zero idea.
Friday rolled around quicker than you expected, the hectic work week coming to an end as the office slowly started getting emptier before 5pm hit.
You finished typing up your last email of the week when a presence appeared behind you. Seokmin was standing behind your chair— startling you badly, your knee slammed up against your desk with a wince.
"Sorry! Didn't mean to startle you. Just wanted to say I can't wait to see you later! We need some time to unwind!" You swirl your chair around and nearly choke at the sight of him. His white button up was rolled a quarter of a way up, veiny forearms on full display. His black frames sat heavy on his face, his hair ruffled and fluffy like the wind had it's time with him earlier.
You gulp, nodding frantically as your mind traveled to other places it had no business going right now.
"Right! Me too, I need to get dressed up and have a drink." You turn back to your computer, working on the last bit of your message. If you didn't get out of his face you were going to fucking bite his arm.
"You have emails to finish still?" The massive arms in question were suddenly resting against your chair, the other on your desk as he scanned your screen from behind you. You could hear his soft breaths near your ear and you wanted nothing more than to die. He had to be genuinely taunting you at this point.
"Uh- I- Uh just this one. Almost finished now!" You choke out, his presence backing up finally allowing you to let out a breath. He hums in acknowledgment as he goes to the opposite wall, shutting down his own computer and packing up.
"Hopefully it won't take too long. I'll see you in a little bit yeah?" He beams, waving before taking off towards the elevator. Joshua, the lead of the digital marketing team, throws an arm around Seokmin sharing his excitement for later as they disappear into the elevator.
You hit send on the email, closing your eyes briefly as the image of Seokmin fills your vision. He was driving you up a wall and you didn't know how much longer you could hold out before doing something heinous.
You get home and eat a quick bite, texting Meera you'll be ready in an hour. You fix your makeup and hair, not wanting to do too much but still look good. You opt for jeans that hug your body just right, a plain black top that showed just the right amount of cleavage and a pair of kitten heels. You're finishing your lip combo when you hear a horn honk outside, signaling Meera was waiting. You grab your purse and keys, locking up and meeting your friend at her car.
"Bitch you look hot! Your work husband is gonna be foaming at the mouth when he sees you!"
You giggle as you slide in her passenger, heading towards the bar your group planned to meet up at.
"Girl whatever, he hasn't reciprocated any of my advances, its getting frustrating. He's genuinely missing every one of my cues!" You throw your head back against the headrest, exasperated.
"At this point… you just gotta tell him how you feel." She glances at you as you side eye her like she was crazy.
"I'm pretty sure somebody confesses their feelings to him every other day and he thinks they're joking, being friendly, or he'll kindly reject them. I won't be different than any of the other people fawning over him." You huff, Seokmin being too attractive and too nice for his own good.
"Okay but he actually talks to you. Those other girls— actually not just girls but you know. They don't get a free coffee from him everyday. Nor does he share his umbrella with them to walk to their car. He doesn't take anyone else out for dinner in the office that isn't his friend group."
"What if I'm just one of the homies to him?" You pout, playing with the rip on your jeans as Meera sighs next to you.
"You'll never find out if you don't shoot your shot. No more subliminal messages and little notes. Talk your shit and tell him you want him. If he doesn't feel that way then you know you're just a homie. Otherwise get in that man's pants cus if it was me-"
"Please focus on the road." You laugh, cutting her off before she got too unhinged. You mull over her words though, deciding you need a little liquid courage to execute your plan.
You pull up to the bar and mentally prepare for the amount of alcohol you know Mingyu will try to force down your body. You and Meera walk in, scanning the bar for your coworkers before you hear loud laughter. You find Chan, Mingyu, Soonyoung, Joshua and Seokmin seated at a big table, orders of fries and wings along the table with bottles of soju and beer.
"Ah Meer Meer! Y/N!" Soonyoung waves, cheeks already flushed from the alcohol as you greet everyone.
"You look hot as fuck!" Chan winks at you and you roll your eyes at him. You feel a gaze burn into you, turning to see Seokmin eyeing you intensely, a faint smile on his lips. A chill runs through you as you smile at him, sitting across from him, Mingyu to your left and Meera on your right.
"Glad you made it out," he smiles softly at you, his gaze holding a weight behind it you hadn't noticed before.
"Perfect timing too! You two take a shot!" Mingyu pushes two glasses towards you and Meera, the two of you sharing a look before clinking glasses and throwing the shot back.
"Got peach just for you, I know you're a bit of a pussy-" you flip Chan off across the table as he busts out in laughter, warmth spreading in your chest from the single shot.
"Whatever, at least I'm drinking."
"I won't be having much else, I gotta drive." Meera states, followed by boo's from Joshua and Soonyoung.
The night ends up being chaotic, Soonyoung making you get up and dance with him, everyone drunk off their ass laughing and being loud. Meera calls it an early night, saying goodbye to you.
"You sure you don't want to just leave now with me?" She asks as you both wash your hands in the bathroom.
"I wanna stay a little longer honestly.." Your eyes meet in the mirror as her eyebrow shoots up, smug look spreading.
"Hoping to score a certain somebody later?" You giggle as your tipsy thoughts take over.
"Yeahhhhh."
She laughs at your tone. "If anything I'll get an uber later. Or force Mingyu to take me home."
"Girl he is not okay to drive, that whole group will be blacked out in an uber later." You laugh, wondering why Mingyu even brought his car knowing how he drinks.
"Get home safe please! Text me when you're back home!" You wave Meera off, the boys giving loud protests as she leaves.
You drink a little more with them, toeing the line between tipsy and drunk, resting your head on Mingyu's shoulder as you listen to Chan's drunken rant over the IT team at work.
"Bro, Wonwoo won't ever help me. He swears he's my friend but every time I have a problem with my computer he stares at me like I just killed his six kids." You laugh at Chan, his ridiculousness amplified now that he was drunk.
You glance at Seokmin, a lazy smile on his face as his eyes land on yours, holding your gaze for a long moment. He breaks away first, turning down towards his water. He stopped drinking a few hours ago, opting to stick with water as he was sobered up already.
"Minnie?" You call for him, his eyes wide as he looks at you.
"Yes?"
"Could you drop me off when you're ready to go please? I'll give you gas money." You offer with a pout, pleading with the beautiful man in front of you. He waves his hand, dismissing the gas money but promising to take you home.
The bar was starting to quiet down, your group getting ready to head out as Seokmin helped you get up, the others already waiting on their ubers and taxis. You bid your goodnight to your friends and colleagues — Mingyu promising you next time you'll have no flavored soju, wanting you to suffer.
Seokmin helps you out to his car, your knees wobbling a bit in your heels as you lean into his warm embrace. His cologne was faint, wafting down to your nose and making you feel dizzy. You wanted him so bad and knew the liquid coursing through you would affect your reactions.
He sits you in the passenger seat, closing the door and running around to start up the car. You glance at him, eyes heavy from the alcohol and fatigue of the day.
"You okay?" You hear your name and nod, your gaze unwaving from his. He feels shy under your glare, turning away to start the car and head down the road towards your house. The lull of the car rocks you to sleep, your eyes not opening again until Seokmin is shaking you awake gently in front of your complex. You hum, stretching and grabbing your bag when he turns the car off.
"Let me make sure you get in okay." He comes around and opens your door, helping you out. You weren't as drunk as he probably thought you were but you enjoyed being taken care of by him. You reached your apartment, digging through your purse for your keys as Seokmin has a hand around your waist to steady you; your heels in his other hand. You had made it to the hallway outside your apartment before having to yank them off your aching feet.
The thoughts in the back of your head run rampant, wondering if this would be how Seokmin took care of you as your boyfriend. You unlock your door and stumble in, Seokmin following closely behind.
"It's nice in here, very comfy, very.. you."
You lean against your door as you stare at him, Seokmin struggling to keep eye contact under your intense gaze.
"Thanks Minnie," You throw your purse on the floor, wandering to the couch and flopping down. He follows you asking if you'd like to just sleep on your couch tonight. You shrug and tell him you want to get out of your jeans. His eyes get wide as saucers, stammering as he questions where to get a change of pants.
"The bottom left drawer of my dresser.. a pair of shorts please." You mumble, feeling sleepy as he disappears for a second, coming back with your sleep shorts.
"Uh.. Um…So you can get out of them on your own right?" You crack an eye open and nod. Having no shame, you unbutton your jeans, beginning to tug them down.
His eyes nearly fall out his head as he whips his head around to give you privacy. In the darkness you couldn't see how deep red his cheeks were.
"Okay.. I'm good."
He takes a second to turn around, cheeks still burning as he takes in the sight of you spread out, legs on full display. His stomach flips in a way he knows he shouldn't think about his friend in.
He places a blanket over you, headed to the kitchen to grab a glass of water for the morning.
"Seokmin."
He looks down at you as your eyes glow back at him, stare intense.
"Yes?" His voice wobbles a bit, uncertain where you may go in your intoxicated state.
"Why do you ignore my advances?" You pout at him, catching him off guard suddenly.
"Wha-What are you talking about?"
"I like you. A lot. And I have been very forward about it," He blinks looking like a deer in headlights as you continue on, tired of holding your thoughts back.
"The person who left the notes? That was me. I like you a lot like… I want you so bad fuck.. you and that damn nose of yours," He tilts his head at this, unsure of what you mean by his nose.
"My- My nose?"
"Shhh.. If you know you know. Anyways is it because you don't like me? You can tell me. It'll be easier for me to get over you then." He swallows hard at your revelation, heart racing as he had no idea you were into him.
"I think this is a conversation we should revisit when you're not intoxicated." He smiles softly at you as you whine, reaching for him. He keeps his distance, only allowing you to hold his hand.
"Fine, but don't go ghost on me."
"I promise not to." He kisses your forehead before he leaves you for the night, a deluded mess on your couch.
You knew your head would be pounding in the morning and you'd regret the words that flowed out your mouth.
The weekend went by without a word from Seokmin regarding your drunken confession. A confession you unfortunately remembered the next morning, turning to scream into your pillow when the memory resurfaced. He had texted you the next day asking if your head was okay and that he'll see you Monday. Not a word about you mentioning his nose. Perfect.
Walking into the office on Monday felt like impending doom, checking every corner for a sign of Seokmin. For the first time ever you wished your desk was nowhere near him. You were trying to make yourself busy by looking over your weekend emails when Seokmin appears in front of you, shy smile upon his face. In his hands your typical macchiato and an apple fritter.
"Thank you Min." You mumble, barely able to look at him as he nodded back, quietly shuffling to his desk.
The work day seemed to go by insufferably slow, the usual chattiness between the two of you was nonexistent today. The only sounds heard were the quiet clacks of keyboards, your insides feeling queasy all day.
5pm couldn't come sooner. You practically throw your items into your bag ready to leave like a bat out of hell when Seokmin peeks his head over the cubicle, making you jump.
"Hey.. Dinner at my place tonight?" His eyes plead, big and glossy like it would kill him if you said no.
"Yeah sure um, what time?" You swallow back the anxious thoughts while Seokmin scratches his head in thought.
"Mmm.. how about 7?" You agree and head out quickly, stilettos clicking against the tile feeling his gaze lingering on your back.
You rush home, throwing clothes out your closet as you plan what to wear frantically.
"Just be casual, he's probably going to bring up the conversation when you were drunk. I mean who knows where that'll go-" Meera spoke through the speaker of your phone as you made a rampage in your room.
"Should I shave every inch of my body? I shaved like 5 days ago..."
"A real man is gonna eat it regardless." You snort at her comment, she was like the little devil on your shoulder at times.
"Okay thanks babe. I'll talk to you later!" She bids you good luck as you rush to freshen up and head out to not be late for your 7pm dinner.
You pull up to Seokmin's complex, having to be buzzed in as you head up to the third floor. Your anxiety spiked as you shoot him a text that you're outside. You knock on his door and you're greeted with the sight of Seokmin, in a plain white tee and his black slacks from work, a kitchen towel slung over his shoulder.
"Welcome, come in!" His tone is as gentle as the smile on his face, stepping back to allow you into his home. His place was modern and sleek which you admired as you kicked your shoes off. You follow him into the kitchen, the aroma of his dish filling your nose just in time for your stomach to growl.
"Hungry?" He teases, your face getting hot as he pulls out two bowls. He made a delicious looking carbonara pasta with slices of pork belly that made your mouth water.
"Jeez Seokmin, this looks insane." You thank him as he hands you a bowl, two glasses of red wine already on the kitchen island where his barstools were situated. You sat down on one, Seokmin dragging another to be directly across from you as you ate.
You had small talk as the two of you ate, a tension in the air as you danced around the question you were sure was coming.
"Can I ask you something?" Seokmin swirled his glass, an anxious air around him.
"What's up?" You took a slow sip of your wine, stomach turning in anticipation. He took a second to formulate his thoughts, his expression conflicted as his mouth opened to speak before closing it briefly.
"Do you remember anything from Friday night? After we left the bar?"
You fought the smile off your face.
Of course you remember everything, you just hoped he wouldn't beat around the bush.
You hum an acknowledgement, nodding your head. A soft 'ah,' as he watched you carefully.
"So.. Does that mean you remember what you said to me on the couch?"
"What, that I liked you? Yeah, took a little alcohol to admit it but I meant every word."
His eyes shifted a million miles a second.
"You said let's revisit when I wasn't intoxicated so.. here we are." You shrug and take another sip waiting for his response.
"I- Okay," He swallows, adam's apple bobbing. "You said I didn't pick up on your advances. What did you mean by that?" Poor sweet, clueless Seokmin.
"The amount of flirting I did? The sweet nicknames, casual touches. The home cooked meals, the post its." Recognition flashes as he recalls you sharing that in your inebriated state. "I was sure you would pick up on something but my god you wouldn't know I wanted you unless I spelled it out for you. Which took this long to get here."
He took a deep breath, brows going up in shock. He thought he was mentally prepared for this conversation, coaching himself all weekend with the help of Mingyu, yet he felt stuck. The words he planned falling short on his tongue.
"I… I thought you were just being nice," he whispers your name, eyes casted downward. "I can't tell when people actually like me it's hard to pick up on. I just am shocked you have feelings for me too.."
You damn near dropped his fancy wine glass on the floor.
Were you getting hard of hearing or did Seokmin say he had feelings for you?
"Wait what? What do you mean 'feelings for me too.' You liked me all this time Seokmin?" Your eyes were wide as he stared back, eyes just as wide like a deer in headlights.
"Um.. Yes?" He scratched his head, a crooked smile on his face. "I didn't think I had a chance-" Your jaw goes slack. You have to set this glass down before you really shatter it.
"Jesus Minnie, I've been trying to give you hints for the past year!" You laugh, wondering how he missed your signs if he had feelings of his own.
"Oh no.. I feel so stupid now!" He groans, hiding his face in his hands. You reach over and touch his arm gently, his eyes peeking through his fingers.
"No love, you're just a little oblivious. It's kinda cute." You coo, tilting your head at Seokmin still taking refuge behind his hands. You pull them away from his face and slide your fingers between his, your thumb starting to rub slow circles into his skin.
"So what does this mean for us..?" He trails off, uncertainty laced in his tone. You remember him mentioning only being in one long term relationship prior, and no more than two or three hookups. He was anxious as to where things could go between you.
"Well you've been my work husband in my head for the past year so maybe let's make that a reality?" You joke, a cheerful laugh coming from Seokmin as he grins at you. He loved your boldness.
"Okay let's start slow.." You nod in agreement, not wanting to scare him off with your long running delusions.
"We're about to be the hottest couple in the workplace- oh my god I can't wait to see the look on Minji's face when she finds out!" You chew on your lip unable to contain your excitement. The most coveted man in your building had the hots for you, and only you.
"Also another thing you said… what were you saying about my nose?" The comment was engraved in his mind, not understanding what you meant at all.
A wicked smile spreads on your face as he becomes more confused.
"Oh babe, your nose is very rideable. Like.. I want to sit on it." You had zero shame in your game.
His face was comedic, mouth gaping wide like a fish as a blush rose across his cheeks.
"Wow that's… I have no words." He chuckles, shaking his head.
"I mean, if that's what you want.. let's try it." His gaze levels yours, a hint of timidity behind it— but a newfound fire burned in his brown eyes. A heat pooled in your lower body, the sudden shift in the room electrifying.
"Don't say it if you don't mean it.." You mumble, a last ditch effort to keep from losing all your sanity.
"Let's see if the hype is worth it hmm?" He smiles, running a finger along his nose playfully wiggling his brows as you laugh. "Can I kiss you?" He asks shyly.
"You don't even have to ask." You get up and round the counter, pulling him to his feet as you bring his lips down to your own.
He walks you to the counter directly behind you, your lips moving in tandem softly. You wrap your arms around his neck, pressing harder to deepen the kiss. His built form presses against yours, hands strong on your hips. The intensity of your kiss made you groan against his lips.
"Minnie, I need you," You pull away and take in his form— lips pink and puffy, eyes glossy as he nods frantically.
"Tell me what you need," He leans down, pressing a fluttering kiss to your neck, leaving a trail downward. You sigh as your eyes flutter shut, your hand trailing down his chest towards the area you wanted attention from. Your hand brushes against his hardening length, a quiet whine pulled from him from the contact.
"Bed, now." You demand, pulling his hand in the direction of his room you vaguely remembered from a previous hangout.
You push him down onto the bouncy mattress, making a show of sliding your shirt over your head. Seokmin felt like he was dreaming. He had to be dreaming, you were unreal. You climbed on top of him, situating yourself in his lap before leaning down to kiss him roughly again. His pants felt awfully tight, the warmth of your clothed cunt against his cock was driving him insane.
"Baby," he whined under you. "Can you take these off please?" He tugged on your stretch pants, getting eager as he rubbed against you, his jaw slack. You grind down on him a few more times before sliding off, taking your sweet time to slide your pants and underwear down. You bend over, your glossy pussy directly in his line of vision as he moans at the sight. You were grinning like a mad woman knowing the effect you had on him already. He slides further back up the bed towards the headboard, motioning for you to join him.
You crawl on top of him, making your way towards his face. His hands find the backs of your thighs and yanks you over his mouth with a yelp. You're hovering over him, not setting your weight on his face as you feel his breaths hot against your center.
"Minnie, don't let me crush you okay?" You glance down at him, his eyes wide and glowing when peeking up at you.
"Don't worry, if I go I would have died a noble death."
You laugh at his comment, caught off guard by him pulling your cunt down to his mouth prodding the hole with his tongue. He licks a long strip along your core, the bridge of his nose bumping against your clit making you throw your head back in overwhelming pleasure.
He was humming below you, clearly enjoying himself, as he fucked his tongue in and out of your hole, his nose hitting against your clit in a way that had your legs trembling around his head.
"Minnie you're doing so good," You purr, one hand gripping his dark hair tightly while the other holds the headboard for support.
He speaks below you, muffled in your cunt. You lift up a bit asking him to repeat as he gulps, taking in shaky breaths.
"I said, you can use me. Go ahead and ride my face."
You wondered how many kittens you saved in your past life. The one thing you desired most, always joking with Meera about was actually about to happen.
"If you need to tap out, pat my leg four times okay?" You couldn't see his mouth but you knew he was smiling the way his eyes crinkled, giving a quick nod and a quiet okay.
You felt his thick arms wrap around your legs, dragging you back onto his tongue. Lapping at your clit leaving you shaking before he alternated between your hole and clit. Your hips moving as you grinded harder into him, quiet moans from Seokmin below you.
You started to pick up your rhythm, moaning loudly as he pushed you closer to your climax, sucking on your clit hard.
If he couldn't breathe he didn't make any effort to show, hums and moans vibrating into your pussy as you rode his face, nose bumping against you addictively.
"Minnie I'm-" You choke, a particular swirl of his tongue pushing you over the edge as you cum on his face hard. Your body shakes while you grind into his mouth, riding out the waves of your release.
He continues to lap up your cunt, the aftershocks of your orgasm leaving you trembling as you try to pull away. His strong arms stayed around you as he continued to fuck your hole with his tongue. You were moaning and shaking hard from overstimulation before a yank on his hair had him unclasping his arms from you.
"Holy shit Seokmin that was crazy." You whine, sliding off his face down his body to rest around his hips. Your dripping pussy was leaking onto his slacks, his cock throbbing from how hard he was.
He wipes his shiny mouth and nose with a grin, like he just had the meal of his life. The carbonara earlier had no comparison to you.
"That was so fun, please ride my face again." He pouted causing you to laugh. Poor Seokmin was pussy drunk, a single taste leaving him with a desire for more.
"Next time baby. Right now I need you in me." Your hands slide down his toned chest, reaching behind you to palm him through his pants with a long groan from him. You unbutton his pants and slowly drag them off Seokmin, his cock finally free and dripping from neglect.
"Condom?" You ask as he reaches over to his nightstand, blindly digging until he found a foil wrapper. You take it out his hands, ripping it open frantically. He watched with hooded eyes, chest heaving as you placed a kiss on the head of his cock. He jerked, a low whine escaping from the contact.
"Aww so needy baby. I got you my love." You coo, running a finger along his head to collect the beads of precum there. You jerk him a few times, the quick strokes making Seokmin moan loudly, bucking his hips into your hand.
You clench around nothing, eager for him as you roll the condom onto his cock.
"You were so good for me Minnie, I'm gonna reward you now."
"Please, please I need it so bad!" He whines, eyes bright as he begs. You slide back up, lining yourself up with his cock as you slowly sink down. His head falls back to the pillow in pleasure while you take him with ease. You moan once you bottom out, his aching cock twitching inside.
"You feel so.. so good.. oh!" He chokes as you swirl your hips, getting him riled up before you begin bouncing on his dick. He's a babbling mess under you while you ride him, bouncing roughly while his hands fist the sheets next to him.
His eyes were screwed shut, the pleasure wracking him in waves as you gripped him tightly, the sound of your pussy taking him filling the room.
You grab his hands, sliding them up to your breasts as Seokmin's brain felt like it was fried. He was so overwhelmed with the feel of your cunt sucking him in he couldn't even think straight. He needed a little directing as he was in a completely fucked out state. He gave a rough squeeze, pinching your sensitive nipples as you clench on him, head thrown back while you glide up and down his length.
"Please keep touching me Seokmin." You moan, feeling his hands slide to your ass and squeezing the flesh there. His mouth closes around your breast, sucking on the bud there.
You were putting in the work, your knees aching and thighs burning but you had a mission; a mission to absolutely ruin Seokmin.
His hips started meeting yours with every thrust, a whiney moan leaving him each time. His eyes kept fluttering shut as he fought from cumming too quick.
"Look at me baby." You slide your hands up his chest as he pries his eyes open, mouth hanging open at the sight of you.
"I'm- I-I'm so close," he whines your name, hands bruising around your waist as he helps guide you down his cock. You purposely squeeze around him knowing he was about to come, your hand drifting down to your clit to reach your peak as well.
His cock twitches inside of you as you swirl your fingers on your sensitive clit, your breasts bouncing in his face. He groans, chanting your name over and over until his eyes rolled back, his orgasm hitting him hard. He moans, hips jerking up as you milk him, your pace quickening as your own orgasm approaches.
"Minnie, I'm gonna cum now." You glance down at his dazed face, his hands on your ass as he pushes through his own overstimulation, fucking up into you to get your release.
You throw your head back as your orgasm hits making you see stars, pussy spasming while Seokmin shakes below you. You collapse into his chest, both of your breaths heavy and staggered as he drew circles along your back.
"You okay Minnie?" You ask, his flesh burning hot as he meets your gaze. His eyes were teary but the grin on his lips was too big.
"You're absolutely insane. I think I stopped breathing and it's your fault."
You giggle at him, slowly sliding off his softening dick. He peels the condom off and gets up to throw it away. You admire his back view before he disappears into his bathroom, returning to clean you up.
He takes his time, planting feathery kisses along your body as you sigh, a calm smile on your lips as he reaches your lips and planting a soft kiss there.
He puts his boxers back on and you slip his shirt on after running to go pee. His strong arms were around you now as he spooned you comfortably.
"I really don't wanna go to work now. Can we just say we're sick and stay here all day?" You groan, Seokmin chuckling as he buried his face in the crook of your neck behind you.
"Mmm I wish... it would be suspicious if we're both sick no?"
"I couldn't give a fuck, let the whole floor know!" You huff, Seokmin tickled by your antics.
"I'm sure it won't take anyone long to notice we're together now." You hum in acknowledgment, knowing how watchful everyone on your floor was of Seokmin.
"Good, those bitches are like vultures. Make out with me in the printer room maybe that'll get them to back off." He laughs, never having a dull moment with you.
"We're so getting fired if I followed through with your ideas."
"Whatever man, just know Dohyun was gonna bend over the printer to get your attention." He laughs comedically behind you, whole body shaking against your back at the revelation.
"No way! Is that why I caught you bent over it like that?"
"Um no… that actually was me just being stupid..."
"Dohyun would be so mad if he knew you spoiled his plans."
"Oh hush!"
The next day at work you had a pep in your step, ready to bare your teeth like a dog at anyone who approached Seokmin. You were a little territorial…
"Good morning baby."
You glance up from your spreedsheets from hell to see Seokmin beaming at you, the usual drink and breakfast in his hand.
"Good morning my love, please kill me before I blow up this computer." You groan, resting your head against your desk as he leans down, patting your shoulder.
"It's okay! I can help you with it in a moment." He puts your breakfast down and moves to set his own stuff down as you lift your head up, a big smile on your face.
"Really? If you fix this I will literally drag you to the bathroom and give you crazy sloppy head right now."
Your timing was awful as Mingyu walked past, his eyebrows shooting up as he looked between you two. Seokmin avoiding eye contact and turning beat red as you smirked, shrugging nonchalantly.
"Please no workplace sex. I don't want to report you two." He teases, shaking his head as he continues on.
You really had to work on your mouth now, Seokmin brought out the best (and horniest) side out of you and it was a matter of time before everyone would know.
Months of calling him your work husband lead to this moment, you could barely hold back from the watchful eyes on the fifth floor.
You hope Minji walks in on the two of you kissing one day.

Your seat mate has to be the finest man you've laid eyes on. You go to a culinary school, but the hottest thing in that kitchen is Kim Mingyu. His white chef coat is always so tight around his stupidly perfect build, causing your brain to short circuit whenever he's busy stirring— arms on full display and flexing.
You swear, you're going to end up burning a dish if you spent any more time staring at him again. How he doesn't catch you is a mystery. You would ogle him every time you talked, but a man who looked like that had to be used to it.
You're stressing over finals coming up, knowing you have to create a unique dish for the head chef to taste. You have free reign on your work— it can be a dessert, side dish or main entree as long as it has uniqueness and is well done. Your head chef doesn't want twenty spaghetti dishes; she wants to see originality.
Between you and Mingyu, no one else stood a chance to bag the top position. Everyone complimented your dishes whether you worked together or solo, your tastes complimenting each other. You are a great team and know how to cook up an original recipe with ease.
When you propose the idea for Mingyu to come to your apartment in a few days with some dishes he wanted to cook for the final, he wastes no time to agree.
"Sounds fun! I have a few recipes I've been dying to try I think you'd like. I'll stop by the grocery store and you tell me what you need."
"Oh no, it's okay Mingyu! I was planning on getting my own things you don't have to!" You wave your hands frantically, not wanting him to spend money on you. He waves you off with a hand, swearing he didn't mind.
"Don't even worry about it. You're letting me use your place to cook, that's good enough!" You try arguing but he wasn't going for it, a goofy grin on his face as he shakes his head, arms crossed.
He was absolutely adorable, like a kid trapped in a 6'2 buff guy’s body.
You agree to cook together in three days on Friday, your final being on the following Tuesday.
The rest of the week you're giddy, mind racing over the thought of having Mingyu in your house. That man is meticulous about his food and you've made sure your kitchen is stocked with any utensils and ingredients that may be needed.
By the time Friday rolls around, you have already deep cleaned your house and kitchen. You were feeling a little delusional and made sure your bedroom was straightened up as well. You know, in case you had to cook in the bed…
You settle on looking nice but not overly dressed up. If you wore a mini skirt bending over in your oven, you knew you'd be trying a little too hard. A pair of flowy black pants that framed your body nicely and a tight fitting tank top made do, your hair clipped back out of your face cutely.
The sound of your doorbell makes you jump, nerves spiking as you open the door for your classmate, his arms full of grocery bags as he greets you cheerfully.
"Thank you for allowing me in!" He grins, his large arms wrapped around paper grocery bags as he refuses to let you take them, kicking his shoes off and entering your kitchen.
"Oouuu, nice kitchen! This is perfect." He hums an approval as you both dig through the bags, pulling out the ingredients for various recipes.
He plans on making a dish with sautéed duck, and another with stir fried vegetables and salmon. Your mouth practically waters as he shares his lineup, turning on the stove and oiling pans.
"What were you planning on making?" You help him carefully dice vegetables and herbs as he works on the main course.
"Honestly, I was thinking the dessert route. I have a oreo cheesecake and pumpkin tiramisu I wanted to work on."
You glance at Mingyu who stops dead in his tracks. The look on his face is hilarious, as you can practically see him planning on stealing the whole pan.
"Those sound crazy! I can't wait to have a taste."
He hums, a lazy smile on his face when he turns back to seasoning the duck breasts.
He asks a million questions about yourself; things that you typically didn't have time to discuss during your classes. You discover that he likes to sing, though he swears he's too shy to full on sing around you. You catch him quietly humming along to a few songs you play as he cooks, bringing a smile to your face.
You work around each other, asking one another to taste the first batches, checking if more seasoning or sugar is required. Your cheesecake goes in as Mingyu plates the sautéed duck, urging you to hurry and get a bite.
"Take a sip of this wine after, it pairs so well together." He insists, a satisfied look on his face after a hefty bite. You take the fork he offered and pick up a piece with his watchful eyes on you.
"Oh my god Mingyu.." You nearly moan out, the flavors of the dish standing out as you close your eyes and nod your head in approval. "This is insanely good!"
You look back at him, his eyes lingering on your face while he sipped on his glass. His gaze is heavy, suddenly making you overly aware of yourself. You pick up your own glass and note how the blend of flavors paired together.
"You weren't lying about the wine.." You shyly mumble, gaze settled on his tanned arms.
He calls your name, catching your attention as you tilt your head in anticipation.
"Did you really want to just cook tonight?"
Your stomach drops as you fight to keep your expression neutral. How could he just so casually drop that like nothing?
You turn back around to your tiramisu, ignoring his question while you slide it in the fridge so it can form properly.
"I'm going to take that as no since you didn't respond."
The smirk on his face is teasing, his tall frame leaning against your counter as he sizes you up from afar.
"I don't know what you mean? We can watch a movie and eat your dishes after we finish if you like?" You suggest, hands fumbling with a thread on your tank top.
"Right…"
"Mingyu, what are you impl-"
"I know how you feel about me."
You take a shaky breath, forcing yourself to make eye contact with him. Mingyu was already looking gently down at you, though his eyes gleamed mischievously.
"I overheard you and Wooyoung talking on facetime a few weeks ago.. Something about how 'big Mingyu is,' and that you'd like to 'see what else was big on him?'"
You want to die on the spot from humiliation.
"I- I- that… that was a joke."
"There's some truth behind every joke!" He smiles playfully, not seeming bothered by your loud mouth best friend getting you caught up. Wooyoung really needed to invest in some headphones in public.
"There's nothing to be embarrassed about, I think you're hot."
This man was so forward it was throwing you extremely off what little game you thought you had.
"Mingyu… just finish up your salmon." He laughs, shaking his head as he reaches around you. He boxes you in momentarily, his clean scent hitting your nostrils as he grabs the glazed salmon and vegetables.
"Wow… You really short circuit when you're around me huh?" You scoff, smacking his arm. "I finished this like.. fifteen minutes ago."
You hated admitting he was right, you were too focused on staring at his broad back at the stove that you didn't realize he finished up with the dish.
"Well let me try some then!"
You cross your arms over your chest. He grabs the same fork you were using, chopping off a bite and guiding the piece to your mouth.
"C'mon, open."
You obey, allowing him to feed you a bite of glazed salmon and carrot, his hand under your chin in case anything dropped. You hum in approval, licking your lips after to clean the small drop of glaze from there.
"You truly are skilled in the kitchen Kim Mingyu." He grins widely at that, enjoying your praises.
"Wanna find out how skilled I am at other things?"
"Now you're just making fun of me!" You groan, his laughter echoing in the kitchen.
"Nonsense, I'm serious babe." The use of the petname shifts something in you, his gaze suddenly burning like fire through you.
"Seriously, stop messing with me Mingyu. I'm sure you've called three other girls babe this week."
He gasps dramatically, hand coming over his heart in false outrage. You roll your eyes playfully as he reaches out for you with his free hand.
"I could never cheat on my favorite cooking partner. Nobody else in that class has anything on you!" His puppy-like eyes plead with you, a pout on his lips.
You will not fold, you will not fold, you will not fold-
"You have something on your lip."
You reach to wipe your finger across the plump skin before Mingyu pulls your hand away, leaning down to catch your lips against his own.
His lips move feverishly against yours, a strong hand planted at the back of your neck to hold you in place. You feel your knees go to jelly as your brain struggled to keep up with the fact your crush was making out with you. In the middle of your kitchen.
His tongue swiped along the skin of your lips, biting on the bottom lip with a soft tug. You gasp, hands planted firm on his well built chest.
"I think I got it." He smirks down at you, clearly proud with his actions.
"Are you sure? Might have gotten some on your own now." Your teasing smirk grows on your face, the energy in the room completely electrified now. He puffs out a laugh, bending back down to kiss you once more.
His large hands slide to your hips, leading you to the counter directly behind you. They roam down to your ass, giving a hard squeeze there, before he lifts you up. Setting you down on the counter, he steps in between your legs, guiding them farther open with a nudge of his thigh.
His waist is directly level with the counter; an advantage of his height. You wrap your legs around his waist, your arms tangling around his neck.
He pulls back, a string of saliva connecting the two of you from how sloppy the kiss had gotten. He trails wet, open-mouthed kisses down your neck, as your fingers glide through his light brown locks.
"Shit, Mingyu the cheesecake is still in there!" You remember frantically, out of breath and trembling from his attack on your lips and neck.
He breaks away for a moment to step towards the oven, pulling out the perfectly golden cheesecake with a mitt. Any longer and it would've definitely burned. He turns the oven off and throws the mitt on the opposite counter, making his way back towards you.
"Now that there's no distractions, let's see just how 'big Mingyu is?'" He teases, hands sliding under your shirt, reaching your uncovered breasts with an eyebrow raise.
"I hate bras."
"I do too."
He yanks the fabric over your head, top half bare as the cold air causes your nipples to harden instantly. His trail of kisses lead down your neck, descending towards your boobs. He reaches for the left one, slowly sucking on the nipple there while his hand tweaks the other with a sharp pinch.
You throw your head back, moaning out in pleasure as he continues his assault on your breasts, stimulating the buds there to the point you felt delirious. His unoccupied hand trails down to your pants and gives a tug, wanting you to lift your hips for him. You comply, shifting up a bit as he slides your flared pants and underwear off.
You spread out, fully bare for him on your counter, suddenly feeling insecure at his full attention.
"God, you're beautiful. I need to admire you just like those little cakes you make." Your cheeks heat up as he kisses all along your body, hands busy as nothing is left untouched by Mingyu.
His hands make their way to your center, pulling your thighs apart just as much as he wanted while you stare down at him. Your chest is heaving and he hasn't even touched you yet.
"Gyu… Please…" You whimper, finally growing impatient.
"So needy.. haven't even gotten my hands on you yet." He clicks his tongue, strong fingers gliding up and down your plush thighs. You whine eagerly, reaching out for him.
"Patience." He grazes your clit with his thumb, sending a shock through you as you jolt unexpectedly.
He chuckles at your reaction, a long finger breaching through your aching cunt. You take his finger easily, already soaked just from making out, as you sigh. He pushes a second finger in, curling up to hit the spot you desired.
"Look at you, taking me so easily." He hums, his gaze locked onto your pussy as he pumps his fingers in and out of you, moans spilling from your lips.
He kisses you again, the wet sounds of your pussy echoing as he works you open with his fingers. His lips swallowed up your moans as you grind down into his fingers, desperate to relieve that ache between your thighs.
Mingyu picks up his pace, thumb rubbing circles along your clit as a third finger fills you, his pace ruthless. You spasm around him, crying out desperately as you feel the coil inside you get tighter, and your orgasm approaching.
"Gyu! Fuck!"
His lips are hot and searing as he works his tongue down your neck, sucking and biting along the skin there. You're a mess under him, your juices leaking down his hand as your head rests back on the cabinet behind for support.
His long fingers stretched you sinfully, his thumb gliding across your clit with ease from your wetness. You feel the peak of your climax approaching, a familiar sensation building in your lower core.
"Cum all over my fingers, give it to me baby." He whispers hot against your ear, your grip on his bicep tight as his words push you over the edge. Your whole body shakes as your orgasm hits you intensely. You see stars while Mingyu helps you ride through it, swirling his finger on your sensitive clit.
"That was so hot," He slides his fingers out of you with a squelch, bringing them to his mouth for a taste as you catch your breath.
"You're insane, oh my god…" Your head lulls forward onto his shoulder as he chuckles. He grabs at your cheeks, pulling your face back up towards his. He kisses you slowly, a hand resting on your still trembling thigh. You slide a hand down towards his length straining in his pants and you nearly gasp into his mouth.
From the outline of it alone, you could tell he was going to absolutely wreck you.
"Mingyu… I'm gonna need you to fuck me now, genuinely quit playing." You run your fingers along the waistband of his jeans, sliding a finger past the band into his boxers.
He groans as you hold him, hot and heavy in your hand and you feel a fresh wave of arousal gush from your legs. You want him so bad, desperately helping him unbutton his pants and tug them down. He steps out of his jeans and boxers, thick cock on full display and you whimper at the sight.
"Does it meet your expectations miss?" He jokes, stroking himself a few times while you nod frantically.
"Shattered them, actually."
You both laugh, a break in the lust filled tension.
He slid you forward, hips directly level with the counter. The tip of his cock brushes against your entrance, both of you groaning from the contact.
"I hope I prepped you enough.. If you ever want me to stop, please tell me to." Mingyu's gaze is serious, not wanting to hurt you at all.
"Gyu, you'll have to pry me off of you at this point now." He laughs, readying himself to enter you.
He pushes in slowly, breathing heavy, as inch by inch, he slides in. Your eyes screw shut, nails digging into his biceps as his thick length buries further into your cunt.
"Doing so well baby, you take me so well." Mingyu sighs as he pushes all the way in. He rests his forehead against yours, giving you a moment to get adjusted to his size.
"I'm okay… need you… to move now." You moan out, swirling your hips in desperation.
His hips begin to move slowly, thick cock gliding in and out of you with ease. He stretches you out, a whiny moan leaving you from the slow drag of him filling you up.
His rhythm remains steady, careful to not get too ahead of himself while you grip down on him dangerously tight. You feel every vein from each rough drag of his cock through your throbbing walls.
"Need more Gyu!" You cry out, wanting his pace to quicken as you try to meet his thrusts.
Mingyu drunk up every one of your sounds, the sight in front of him going to his dick with every moan and gasp you let out.
"So needy for me." He lifts you up, bouncing you on his cock. His arms are supporting you, all his hours in the gym paying off as he fucks up into you, the sound of skin slapping filling your ears.
He's rough, his hands gripping you so tight, you know there will be marks in the morning. The counter dugs into your thighs while Mingyu thrusts into you, your pussy leaking all down his cock with a vulgar squelch.
His groans are music to your ears as you slide a hand down to rub circles on your clit, in search of your second climax of the night.
He sat you back on the counter, the change in angles making his cock bury deeper inside of you with a loud moan. You were mumbling gibberish, drunk on the feel of his big dick pounding into you, and his strong arms wrapped tight around you.
"Gyu, I'm so close… oh!" His hand grips your neck suddenly, squeezing at the sides. The hand on your neck helps keep you in place, your brain going fuzzy as you feel your high fastly approaching.
"Taking my cock like you were made for me." He mumbles, his hand staying wrapped around your throat as he fucks into you roughly, the counter sharp against you.
Your thoughts are mush, as with a final snap of his hips you're seeing white and squeezing him tight, thrashing around under him with a cry of his name. You feel weightless, his pace picking up once again and his breaths grow ragged against your skin.
"Fuck, I'm cumming, where do you want it?" He chokes out, thrusts growing erratic.
"In me. I'm on the pill please fill me up Gyu."
Your words are like encouragement to him, both hands gripping at your waist as he fucks you like a rag doll, chasing his orgasm. You whine from overstimulation, clamping hard on him when he gave one last deep thrust— spilling his hot seed inside of you with your name on his lips. His hips stutter a few times, thick ropes of cum spilling out as he gives you every last drop. He buries his head into your chest, catching his breath momentarily.
"This turned out better than I expected." You joke, running your fingers through his damp hair.
He looks up with a confused expression.
"I was hoping we would end up like this by the end of the night." You smirk down at him.
"So you were plotting something!"
"I wanted more than just a taste of your meals Gyu. I wanted a taste of you."
He stares up at you from your chest, smiling lazily. Capturing your lips once again he kisses you. He slides out, watching his cum slowly slide out of you onto the counter. His cock has no chance to recover, already twitching with need again.
"We made such a mess in here… This counter needs so much disinfecting my god."
"That, and the food... we gotta put this up." You groan, sitting up. You felt sticky, Mingyu's cum still deep inside of you.
"Fuck that, we'll get it later." He helps you off the counter carefully, your knees wobbling when you stand.
"But Serv Safe-"
"Forget Serv Safe rules for now, I need a taste of something else," He tosses a glance at the cheesecake. "Cheesecake can wait, I got something else to indulge in."
He picks you up, throwing you over his shoulder with a yelp.
"Show me your bedroom, I'm not done with you yet."
You thought Mingyu would be craving a bite of your cheesecake first, not thinking things would end with him wanting to take a bite of you more importantly.

The low rattle of the carriage typically helped lull you to sleep on the long journeys you've endured before. You watched from the small window as the greenery of the countryside passed by slowly. Your stomach was in knots, thoughts running wild preventing you from enjoying a peaceful nap.
A brief glance towards your sister eased the agony raging inside you. Her face was calm, chest rising slowly as her head rested on the shoulder of your cousin. You shared a look with her, a small smile on both your faces.
"She's ready you know. You don't have to stress so much." Your cousin says your name softly, a sigh leaving your lips.
"I understand that. It's my duty to be protective of her though. In my eyes I still see that 12 year old girl." Your sister was 19 now, a full adult and finally making her debut. She whined for two years that she was ready, but your family knew she needed to grow into herself more before searching for a suitor.
You were the eldest child, your brother Michael, was three years younger than you, and the youngest— Ana was eight years apart from you. Your mother passed when Ana was still young, instantly throwing you into a maternal role for your younger siblings.
When you were 18, you traveled from your kingdom of Ellerium with your father to England to make an official debut. You had no luck that season, and tried again the following year. You had managed to snag an engagement from a handsome and highly coveted Lord, excited to fulfill your dreams before he had called off the engagement abruptly. A princess was in town who had expressed her desire for your fiancée, leaving you in the dust.
You were crushed; you wore your heart on your sleeve but the experience of that season made you draw back. Your father and cousin did their best to comfort you, but the damage was done. You attempted one more time the following season when you were twenty, just to have foul luck once again. You returned to Ellerium that winter with a dull ache, and a shadow of the woman you were before.
The glitz and glam of the past three seasons had begun to add up and get pricey, your father having to travel more to pay off the debuts of your designer dresses. After three failures, you decided you struck out. You wouldn't cause your family any more trouble financially or physically. The journey from Ellerium to England was a three day trek one way. You swore you wouldn't go back until your sister was ready to make her debut.
Your father and cousin pushed you to try once more, but you already sealed your fate. Once you turned 23 your family stopped pushing. Most women in high society were married off by 21 or 22. If you were unwed by 25, you were deemed a certified spinster, which you had become for your family. You were 27 and content with your cat and helping your family. The yearn for something more always prodded at the back of your mind when you laid in bed at night, but for the sake of your sister you pushed the thoughts away. As long as she was happy, you were happy. At least that was what you told yourself.
The rolling hills began to turn into a familiar scene of villages, and the cottages owned by commoners who worked in the fields. The carriage veered off to the right, headed towards the city where all the members of The Ton resided. You leaned over and lightly shook your sister, knowing she would be fuming if she didn't catch a glimpse of the city coming in.
"Ana darling, time to get up. We're almost there." Her eyes slowly opened, a yawn and big stretch escaping as she turned towards the window. Her face shifted to one of awe, as it was her first time leaving the resides of Ellerium.
"Are you seeing this?" She turned back towards you smiling, drawing a soft grin from you. You were reminded of your first time in London and the excitement you felt upon first sight of the city.
"Take it all in my love." You felt all of her joy as she turns back out in disbelief, watching the markets and people stroll by.
The carriage made its way towards long rows of townhomes with intricate architectural designs and lined with grandiose gardens. It stops right in front of a beautiful red brick home with a white door and rows of hydrangeas along the walkway.
"I believe we are here! The Hong's have been expecting us!" Your cousin clasps her hands together loudly as the three of you file out of the carriage.
The front door swung open as a woman with a perfectly slicked bun and a kind smile came descending down the steps, a maid close behind her.
"Hello beautiful ladies! I am so ecstatic to have you here!" She exclaimed as you all gave a small curtsy, formally greeting your host for the season. "I am Lady Hong, You must be Ladies Ana and Y/N of Ellerium?" You extended a hand to her to which she held gently.
"That would be correct, Lady Hong. We cannot express our gratitude enough for letting us stay in your marvelous home for the season." You smiled brightly at her, your sister a ball of energy next to you as she could barely contain herself. You placed a hand at the small of her back to ground her, a reminder to control her emotions a bit. Your cousin exchanged a brief word with Lady Hong before giving her goodbyes to you and Ana.
"See you soon, cousin." She pulled back, a glint in her eyes as she looked at you. You knew she was thinking of how you might feel being back and unwed, but you give her a reassuring squeeze.
"Take care. I'll be back home before you know it and our baby girl will be betrothed, mark my words." She laughed, giving one final hug to your sister before returning into the carriage to make her journey back.
"Right this way ladies, let's take a tour shall we?" Mrs. Hong gestured for you to follow, her footman right behind carrying both of your bags.
The main foyer was stunning, larger than you expected from the outside as you and Ana toured the first floor, waving at the maids in the kitchen as you walk through. Upon entering the drawing room, you're taken back by the presence of two men. One— an older gentleman at the piano looking up from his note sheet; the other lifting his gaze from his book on the embroidered couch.
"Ana, Y/N, may I introduce you to my husband Lord Hong," the one at the piano gave a deep nod. "And my son, Joshua." The one at the couch closed his book, rising to give a bow to you and your sister. The two of you mimicked his actions, greeting one another formally.
"It is a pleasure to meet you, Ladies. We are looking forward to being your generous hosts this season."
He smiled softly as you took a second to admire his features. Joshua was stunning, his hair swept back off his forehead, pretty eyes and a strong jawline. Pushing your selfish thoughts back, you wonder if he was eligible for your sister or not.
"We cannot express how grateful we are to be here Lord Joshua-"
"Please, just Joshua. I'm not big on titles." He shook his head, shocking you. Every man you've encountered in high society demanded their titles spoken every time they were addressed.
"Okay then, Joshua— I expect you to give me the best scoop on the suitors this season. I want only the best for my sister." Were you starting off strong? Possibly, but a man of his status— and looks, had to know what lords to stay far away from.
He gave a full belly laugh, not expecting your brazenness so soon.
"Alright, I'll be your guide to all things during this social season— and The Ton." He gleamed at the two of you, a hint of mischief in his eyes. He reminded you of your brother and you felt a sense of familiarity within the Hong household already.
"I'll let you two get settled into the home. Mother, I'm going to the lake with Hansol for a while, I'll be back before supper."
He rested a hand on his father's shoulder, giving his mom a kiss on the cheek and with a final bow towards you two, he headed out.
"Alright now, let's continue the tour. I'll show you your sleeping quarters."
After the tour of the estate, you and Ana got settled in the drawing room, chatting with Lord and Lady Hong while sipping tea. You were buzzing with excitement for Ana, ready for her to step out into The Ton and make her mark.
The day slips by with dinner approaching before you know it. The spread was divine, the maids working hard to prepare a special meal for the new guests.
"Oh heavens, now where is Joshua?" Mrs. Hong sighed, exasperated as Mr. Hong chuckled, pulling her seat out for her.
"You know that boy likes to come in right as we sit down. Give it another minute."
As if on cue, the sound of the front door opening and voices traveling in was a sure sign Joshua made it back just in time to eat.
"I'm home! I brought Hansol with me if that's okay?" He called from the foyer loudly.
"Always my dear, Hansol is always welcome in our home!"
You fought to keep your jaw off the floor as the two men stepped into the dining room, your sister going rigid next to you. You swore you've never seen a finer man walk in, his chocolate brown hair parted in the middle, light brown eyes scanning the room with a soft smile on his face.
"Who might we have here?" The man— Hansol, asked with a tilt of his head. You shoved an elbow into your sisters side as she made no effort to control her facial expressions. She blinked out of her haze and the two of you stood to give a curt bow.
"Lady Ana and Y/N of Ellerium, Sir." Your voice came out a pitch higher than you wished, your ears growing hot. Hansol gave a dip of his head in return.
"Lord Choi Hansol. Pleasure to meet you." His voice was deeper than you were expecting, yet his tone soft.
"Glad to have you join us for dinner, Hansol, your company is always a pleasure."
Lord Hong gestures for another place to be set for Joshua's friend who settled directly across from you. Your stomach did a flip as you appeared unfazed, pinching your sisters thigh to keep her from gawking at the handsome man across from you.
Dinner went along smoothly, the Hong family asking many questions about Ana and yourself. You tried to keep the focus on Ana, buttering her up in front of the two males in case they were interested. Hansol watched carefully, only commenting when necessary or if you asked something about him. Ana was timid, though you knew everything you asked she already was questioning as well.
"So your brother is an Earl?" Ana grew the courage to ask herself, a hint of a smile tugging on your lips. Hansol nodded, dabbing his lips with a napkin.
"Yes, Seungcheol is the head of our house now. As the second oldest son the Viscount title was passed to me." A soft 'ah' leaves both your lips as you listened to his family lineage.
"And has he found his Countess?"
You raised an eyebrow, Hansol's expression quickly matching yours.
"Are you asking for yourself?"
You scoffed.
"Absolutely not, the only one looking for a suitor is my darling Ana here." He hummed an acknowledgment, slowly sipping his wine.
"Unfortunate news to bear, but my brother has found his Countess already."
"What of yourself, Viscount?" You tilted your head, Ana's eyes on you now. She hated when you were brazen, especially knowing she was more on the shyer side.
"Ah, I had a feeling this was coming." He chuckled, Joshua smirking and clearly amused next to him. "No, I have not wed yet. I just got back from my travels across Europe this March."
You were highly intrigued by him. His travels across the globe, his intellectual way of thinking and striking looks made him the total package. Plus him being a Viscount meant a higher title in society. As much as you felt your heart call out for him, you knew he would be a perfect match for Ana to betroth.
"Interesting.. Perhaps you and Ana should get to know each other sometime." You pushed, a smug smile on your face. Hansol stares blankly, slowly nodding with a brief glance towards Ana.
"Perhaps."
His tone was flat, like a punchline missed. Maybe he was a tough case to crack—you didn't mind a challenge.
Dinner concluded with Joshua and Hansol disappearing into the drawing room as you and Ana sat and talked with the Hong's for a while after the dishes had been cleared. They appeared shortly after, Hansol claiming he had to get back to his mother and giving his goodbyes.
"Nice meeting you Lady Y/N, Ana." He gave a soft smile, taking your hand and planting a kiss on the back of it. He repeated the action with Ana, her face going hot from the contact. "I'll be around. If Joshua isn't there to be a guide, I'll be glad to step in." He looked you up and down once more before slipping out the door.
The brief interaction had your stomach in knots, the feel of a man's lips even brushing your hand had your knees wobbling. You felt it was going to be a long season if Hansol kept slinking around.
As you winded down for the night, brushing Ana's hair and wrapping it up, she rambled on about the day's events.
"Oh god Lord— Viscount— Hansol was so handsome. Did you see the way he looked at me?!" She sighed dreamily, twirling on a loose strand you hadn't wrapped up yet.
"It's just Lord, Ana, and he surely is a nice sight on the eyes." You agreed, mind wandering back to his playful gaze and how warm you felt under it.
He seemed to linger on you which you despised. You wanted your sister to be the center of attention, not you. Even if a small voice at the back of your mind yearned to be desired still, the way it did when you were eighteen. Your mission was Ana, not yourself.
You went to bed with Ana rambling for twenty minutes after the light went out, over the first ball of the season in two days. She left your mind racing knowing tomorrow you would be going to get alterations on her gown in the morning. Mrs. Hong insisted you find something for yourself, promising you had to look as equally marvelous. You wondered if she pitied you, wanting you to at least go out and feel pretty despite the circumstances.
The next day was busy, with Lady Hong waking you and Ana up early.
"I apologize girls, however if we don't leave before 7am, the line will be wrapped around the corner! I swear Jihyo is the best seamstress in the city!" She bustled about the room, swinging the curtains open to allow the rising sunlight in.
The click of hooves on the pavement rung out as the three of you made your way further into the city. You stopped in front of a white building, mannequins lining the glass windows modeling the most spectacular gowns you've ever seen.
"Mademoiselle Park's boutique will stun you, come on girls we have a long day of fittings ahead!"
Lady Hong stepped out the carriage, offering a hand to Ana as you went out the other way. Opening the doors to the boutique, a bell chimed alerting the owner of new arrivals as a pretty woman with long black hair rounded the corner.
"Ah, Lady Hong it's always a pleasure to see you!" She smiled brightly. "Who might these two debutons be?"
Your time to be a debuton was long behind you, you quietly thought. You had hope for Ana, your sister was stunning and well mannered.
"These two gorgeous girls are the Ladies of Ellerium!" She introduced you by first and last name, the owner Jihyo giving a low bow in greeting.
"Welcome, Ladies of Ellerium. Please take your time. I have quite the selection!" She followed Ana around, complimenting gowns that went well with her skin tone and hair color.
"Y/N, are you going to even have a look?" Ana turned back to you.
"No, darling. I'm looking for you over here."
"Sister, you have to find something. Maybe there's a Lord who likes his ladies a little… older…" You shoot a glare at your sister, a devious smirk playing on her face.
"I'm sorry, how old are you?" Jihyo asked with a head tilt.
"I'm twenty seven, too old to be this seasons diamond I fear." You scoffed, turning back to the overwhelming rack of gowns.
"Oh dear, I would've thought you were no older than twenty." Jihyo placed a hand over her chest with a pout and you felt a spark of rage simmer in your gut.
Why does everyone pity you? Why must a woman have to be married to have any worth in this society?
"Well your sister is right, find something pretty for yourself. Many Lords wait a long time to get married! Oh- looks like Ana may have found something, come here!" Lady Hong gasped, gathering your attention.
You turned to the pale blue gown made of satin, intricate swirls of pearls along the whole dress. The neckline was low, and if altered right, would fit her body perfectly.
"You would look ravishing in that Ana!" You exclaimed, sharing a giddy look with your sibling. She tried on the gown and sighed in awe at herself in the mirror across from her. Jihyo got to work, tailoring the way Ana desired. You smiled contentedly watching her reflection in front of you. You saw glimpses of yourself in her, and silently prayed she would find better than you ever did.
You felt a tap on your shoulder and turned to see Mrs. Hong with a stunning burgundy gown in her arms.
"Dear, I think you should try this one on. You'll look fierce." She handed off the delicate article of clothing as you insisted you couldn't.
"I can't possibly wear this…"
"Stop fussing and try it on!" Your sister made eye contact in the mirror with you, her gaze serious.
You huffed in defeat, shuffling towards the available curtain to undress behind.
"I'll be over to help you in a moment darling!" Jihyo called, her figure hunched over as she hemmed Ana's dress.
You undress from your simple green gown and stepped into the eye-catching burgundy gown. You just barely pull your arms through when Jihyo's voice is directly behind the curtain, asking to come in.
She slid the curtain open and gasped, eyes glowing. "My dear you look stunning. This dress is quite perfectly made for you!"
Her words brought a timid smile to your face, not expecting such a positive reaction. You didn't lack confidence necessarily; you knew you were beautiful. Years of being looked down upon by your family had warped your perception a bit— you just needed a little validation again.
"Here, let me fix you up and we can see what needs to be tailored from there." Jihyo's soft hands found the hooks and closed up the dress.
You gave a mixture of laugh and a sound of excitement at the sight in front you.
The dress hugged you perfectly, flowing out at your hips, past your feet. The neckline was scooped and not too low, making you look modest but sultry.
"Show your sister! She's going to love it!"
"I'm waiting!" Your younger sibling wasted no time to call for you, impatience in her voice.
When you stepped out, you watched both Ana and Mrs. Hong's mouths drop open.
"Well didn't I say you would look ravishing! I did not lie." Mrs. Hong circled around you, inspecting the details of the gown with a nod.
"You look wonderful, sister." Ana's voice was soft, her gaze kind.
She hoped you would still somehow find your own suitor, wanting nothing more than to see you happy as well.
"Thank you, Ana." You smiled softly at her. "I'm only wearing this for you, Lady Hong."
"I already added it to our family's tab so I would hope so!" You laughed at her in utter shock.
"Mrs. Hong!"
"I told you— an arrival gift for our beloved guests."
Jihyo finished up Ana's dress before making some minor tweaks on your otherwise perfect gown.
The three of you exited the boutique, expressing your thanks and gratitude towards Jihyo before heading back to your carriage. It was already mid-day, the dress hunt and tailoring taking up the whole morning and early afternoon. You were starving and willing to eat anything that was in front of you.
"I'm famished!" Ana sighed, expressing your thoughts with a toss of her head against the cushioned wall.
"As expected. Our head maid, Wanda will have cooked up something wonderful for us by now."
Walking into the doors of the Hong residence, the last thing you expected to see was Joshua running around shouting. You also absolutely did not expect to see Hansol crouched on top of a chair, face pale with a contorted expression upon his face.
"Hong Joshua, what in the world is going on!"
"Mother! A rodent made its way in our home!"
"Oh for goodness sake." She sighed, placing the boxes from the boutique into a maids arms. She was ready to ask Joshua where they last saw it when Ana let out a shriek, spotting the creature and running towards the chairs Hansol was hiding at.
"Oh shit!" You heard something crash and Joshua yelped, a broom in his hand as the mouse terrorizing the house rounded the corner.
"Joshua, give me the damn broom!" You shouted at the grown man running in circles from the mouse. He tossed it and you caught it with a slight fumble, swinging the door open, trying to attract the mouse.
"Shoo! Shoo!" You swatted the broom at the creature, watching it scurry out the house before slamming the door shut.
You glanced at everyone in the room. Joshua was huffing from doing a whole lot of nothing, chasing the rodent. Ana watched, perched on a chair directly across from Hansol, who's eyes were comedically wide. Mrs. Hong was unmoved, sharing an unamused look with you. Bunch of cowards.
"Lord Hansol, you're telling me all your travels across the globe and you let a rat get the best of you?"
You raised an eyebrow at him, a playful smirk spreading across his face.
"Never had to fight off rodents on the beaches of Portugal."
You groaned, the head maid taking the broom out of your hands with a smile. If Hansol couldn't even handle getting a mouse out of the home, how could you marry your sister off to him. Who was going to kill the bugs in that relationship?
"Unbelievable."
Hansol hopped off the chair, dusting his trousers off. He offered a hand to Ana, helping her down and sharing an amused look together.
"Sister would always get rid of the animals that found their way into our house. A squirrel was not safe around her." Ana joked, your eyes wandering between the two with a small shrug.
"Our house isn't in the city, someone had to take the role up." You stated simply; the others watching you curiously.
"Exactly as a big sister should!"
"Sure… More like Michael is a wuss." Hansol chuckled, learning about your younger brother over dinner last night.
"I don't blame him."
Your gaze shifted towards him, watching his struggle to keep a straight face.
"You're unbelievable, Choi Hansol."
"Hey! What happened to 'Lord Hansol?'" He teased, your eyes rolling hard.
"I'm going to the drawing room, the maids brought out some sandwiches. That is where you'll converse with Ana." You turned towards your sister, gesturing for her to follow you to the public room.
"Sounds like I don't have much of a choice?"
"Well of course not, my Lord."
You quietly chatted with Joshua as the two of you munched on the finger foods placed in the drawing room. You found yourself straining to hear Ana and Hansol's conversation on the couch farther down the room. Your gaze fell in their direction often, wondering if they were making any headway. Joshua noticed this, from the way you zoned out and stopped responding to him multiple times.
"You should go over there and sit with them at this point."
You glared at him, a bright smile across his face before he took a bite of pastry.
"Can a sibling not be concerned?"
"You should only be concerned with the man if he is actually interested." Joshua makes eye contact with you, confusion written all over your face. "Hansol has been adamant on remaining single. Said the right one for him won't be apart of The Ton, and if they are, he would have to fall for someone… unconventional…"
You swallowed hard, gaze shifting towards your feet momentarily. An unrecognizable feeling brewed inside your stomach upon his words.
"Well Ana is a bit unconv-"
"No, she's not. Not by Hansol standards."
"Then what would be his standard then if not my sister?" Tilting his head slightly, his gaze softened.
"You."
"Joshua, you can't just say unrealistic things like that!" You kept your voice low, yet alarmed. He couldn't be spewing that with the man in question a few feet away.
"Unrealistic? You've known him for a day, I've known him my whole life. Trust me when I say it was you who took his breath away at first sight, not Ana."
His revelation was like a punch to the gut, knowing how hard you were working to get your sister betrothed as soon as possible. Joshua didn't know what he was talking about, there was no way Hansol desired you. He was a tough case to crack, and you were going to do so for you sister's case— not your own.
You casted a glance in their direction once again, finding Hansol's sharp eyes already on you. A chill ran over you as you averted your gaze, turning back to Joshua.
The intensity of his gaze alone had your stomach flipping, and your heart racing.
Perhaps if you were meaner to him, whatever attraction Joshua claimed was there would dissipate.
You were the wrong sister to choose, and he would have to see that.
The bustle of the Hong estate the next day was exciting; maids and footmen moving around as the family prepared for the first ball of the season that night.
You were ecstatic to present your sister, knowing the queen herself would be in attendance. All of the ladies had a big impression to make, and Mrs. Hong apparently had a great connection with the queen.
"Trust me darling, the queen and I go way back." She exclaimed as your designated maids busied themselves fixing up your hair and makeup. "I'll have a proper introduction lined up for Ana." Mrs. Hong winked at your sister, her face lighting up over the thought of meeting the queen herself.
"That's wonderful, Lady Hong! I cannot thank you enough!" She squealed, clasping her hands together from uncontainable joy.
You spent what felt like all day prepping for the ball, Ana complaining her neck ached after being in the chair for hours. The final product was jaw-dropping; you nearly teared up at the sight of her.
She looked elegant, yet refreshing— holding herself with a womanly poise.
"Wow sister, you look stunning."
"You can't be one to talk! This burgundy looks gorgeous on you!" You gave a small spin, not used to the glam you've stayed away from for seven years.
"Thank you my dear. Now, let's go find you a husband."
The first ball was hosted by the Lee's, a very prominent and influential family in the Ton. They had a mansion farther out from the city, used mostly for social gatherings.
Your jaw dropped as the sight of the castle-like home came into view, already lined up with carriages along the main walkway.
"The Lee's surely know how to host. Their oldest, Jihoon, was married a few years back but the two youngest sons are eligible currently! Ana, I will speak very highly of you to them and introduce you myself!" Mrs. Hong was excited, sharing with you prior to leaving she had yearned for a second child— a daughter. By hosting Ana and yourself, she could finally experience what other mothers of The Ton did with their daughters.
"Oh! I can't forget about you as well Y/N, there will be plenty of suitors there," You opened your mouth to speak before she raised a hand, stopping you before you began. "I know, I know, you're not interested but don't give up completely dear. I got engaged at twenty six."
You were glad she had found her love match later on, but you knew the story wasn't the same for you. You gave up a long time ago and decided upon that. You weren't going to turn her down, but your heart was out of the game a while ago.
"I'm almost thirty and still am unwed!" Joshua butted in, earning a side eye from you and an eye roll from his father.
"Things are different for us, Joshua. You could get married at fifty and it would be acceptable."
"My apologies, just wanted to be relatable…" You laughed at him, appreciative of his efforts.
Your group made it inside, Ana barely containing her excitement at the grand entryway, and the stunning attire all around.
"I'll be back, I'm off to find the Lee sons! Joshua watch over them!" Mrs. Hong stepped off, dragging her husband along with her.
"Alright ladies, Lord Joshua at your service. Let's get some introductions rolling."
After weaving through the crowds and bowing at recognizable faces, he finally lead you to the main floor, snatching up three glasses of champagne.
"Better vantage point here, ah, do you see the man with glasses straight ahead?" Joshua tilted his champagne glass in said direction, granting a nod of acknowledgment from both you and Ana.
"That is Lord Jeon Wonwoo. Certainly a piece of eye candy. He's a true gentleman and his family has connections to the royal family of Korea. He's the slightest bit weird, and a little quiet. If you can get past that— or that's your type, then he's a perfect candidate!"
You hummed, slowly sipping your champagne. You take note of Lord Wonwoo, ranking him high on your list for Ana.
"Oh! Who is that?" Ana's voice caught your attention as you turned to see a taller man with bleached blonde hair to his nape and a small crowd around him.
"That, my dear, is Duke of Shenzhen— Wen Junhui. Only in town for a few weeks in search of his Duchess before he leaves back to China. Tough competition though…"
"China is too far for me, I need to be able to visit often."
"If it gets you married to a Duke, you could go to Australia for all I care Ana." She whined at this, ready to bicker before you catch Mrs. Hong making her way towards the three of you. The broad shouldered man accompanying her could only be what you assumed, one of the Lee sons.
"Ah! There she is! This is Lord Lee Chan, the youngest of the bunch. Lord Chan, may I introduce you to Lady Ana of Ellerium?" The two shook hands and formally dipped into a curtsy and bow.
"Lady Ana, you look marvelous, quite literally stole my breath away!" She smiled shyly. "Who might you be?" He turned to you with a bow that you return.
"I'm her older sister, just here to support her debut season." You softly gave your name and title with a kind smile. Chan looked you up and down, a smirk forming.
"You need to meet my cousin, you seem just like his type-"
"Ah Chan, we should let you and Ana get acquainted!" Joshua cuts in, signaling for you and his mother to make an exit.
"Yes, that sounds perfect. Pleasure meeting you, Lord Chan." You gave a final curtsy, meeting your sister's eyes with a silent message— 'you got this.'
The three of you scurried off, Mrs. Hong disappearing once again to make her rounds. You and Joshua settled near a corner, on your second glasses of champagne when Chan's comment resurfaced in your mind.
"Do you know who Lord Chan's cousin may be?"
He glanced at you, taking a sip of the bubbly drink.
"Mmm not sure who he was referencing. The Lee's family tree is insanely big."
Something in you told you he was lying but you brushed it off for now, watching Ana and Chan make their way onto the floor to dance.
You scanned the ballroom, searching for other potential suitors when your eyes landed upon a familiar figure. Hansol was on the other side of the floor, dressed in a navy blue suit as he chatted with another broader man. The more you looked, you saw they had the same crest woven on their jacket pockets and it clicked; that was his brother Seungcheol.
You watched his eyes roam the dance floor, as if he was searching for someone before he finds you. His gaze was heavy, a single eyebrow going up upon contact. He whispered something to Seungcheol, excusing himself, as he made his way towards you and Joshua along the edge of the crowd.
"Should've known I'd find you here standing in a corner." Hansol joked.
You felt his eyes drift over you, drinking up the sight of you in the intricate gown. His staring was nothing short of shameless, his expression blank yet carrying a weight behind his eyes you couldn't place. You felt your face grow hot, opting to sip the bubbly drink to hide the growing flush of your cheeks.
"You know these things aren't my cup of tea. And Lady Y/N here is trying to avoid any and all male attention." Joshua poked fun at you, a sinister grin on his face matching Hansol's.
"Any attention warranted to me can certainly be directed towards Ana. Speaking of, she seems to be hitting it off with Lord Chan, no?" You tilted your head towards the pair moving swiftly across the floor.
"Channie has always been a great man, if he wants to pursue Ana they would be a wonderful couple." Hansol's nickname for Chan caught you off guard. They must've been closer friends than you thought.
"My lady, would you be interested in a dance?" Hansol questioned, his head tilting.
"Oh no, I don't dance my Lord."
"A Lady of your status most certainly knows how to." He pushed back, his expression remaining unreadable, though the playfulness was present in his tone.
"I don't know, Lord Hansol-"
"Please, I beg of you to drop the formalities. Just Hansol." You gulped, feeling Joshua's gaze tear back and forth between the two of you.
"Just one dance, I promise to bring you back to Joshua in one piece." A hint of a smile twitched along the corner of his lip as he stared down at you.
You sighed deeply, nodding in agreement as you felt like your heart was betraying your mind.
He grabbed your flute and handed it to Joshua, gently taking your hand to guide you towards the edge of the dance floor. You step into formation with his strong hand in between yours, the other resting high on your waist. You danced in silence for a while, avoiding any eye contact while you focused on the drag of the music and keeping your feet coordinated.
"Why are you so adamant on remaining unwed?" Hansol broke the silence first, his directness nearly making you stumble over your own feet.
"Why does it matter? I'm past the age most women get married. I'm happy as long as my sister is happy." You bit your tongue, knowing the rehearsed answer you typically gave fell flat. He hummed in response, barely heard over the strum of the violins.
"That didn't sound very convincing. Plenty of women still get married at your age. My mother married my father when she was 32." You glanced up at him, his gaze soft and holding your own carefully.
"That makes you and Seungcheol half siblings right?" You questioned, Hansol giving a curt nod.
"Yes, but that's irrelevant right now. I'm talking about you. You deserve a shot at happiness as well." He spoke your name quietly, spinning you in sync with the music.
Your stomach was in knots, the proximity to him and his utterances making your mind grow fuzzy. His words rattled in the back of your mind as you grew silent, swaying with the music. You knew you deserved to be happy, but the thought of your family covering two weddings within a short time frame made you uneasy. If anyone should receive that blessing, it should be your sister.
The song finished, signaling the end of your dance with Hansol. You curtsy as he gave a deep bow, leading you back towards Joshua in the corner.
"Thank you. For dancing even if it was for a few minutes. You need to loosen up more." He stated simply, snatching a champagne flute off a tray and bidding a farewell, off to search for his brother once more.
Hansol was plaguing your mind the more time you spent with him and Joshua's convictions the day before reappeared in your thoughts. You had to shake off the feeling he left— and fast.
"Ana has been having quite the night if I say so." Joshua commented, snapping you back to reality as you scanned the crowd to find your sibling.
"Is that so?"
"Mmm, she's currently talking to the second oldest son of the Lee's— Lee Seokmin." He tilted your head towards your sister, catching her in deep conversation with a tall man with a bright smile.
"Good. Put in a word with one of the Lee boys to come visit her."
"Always working are we?" He joked as you fixated on the sight in front of you.
"You said you'd help us this season, Joshua. I expect that includes with the men in your circles as well." You turned towards him with a cheerful smile. You always got what you wanted when it came to your siblings.
"Of course, my Lady."
The first ball was a success, Ana boasting the rest of the night about all the suitors she had danced with, and her first encounter with the queen herself. You were introduced to her as well, keeping your poise in front of the most respected and feared woman in London.
The following days lead to a slow trickle of men of different statuses making way into the Hong residence, eager to make conversation with Ana. You were ecstatic, watching each interaction carefully in the corner of the drawing room. Mrs. Hong or Joshua was always by your side, critiquing the candidates with hushed voices.
Hansol was a frequent visitor, snatching Joshua away from the home, or staying and making conversation with everyone. You were watching intrigued one day as Hansol shared his notebook with you, going over the details of his travels. Ana was deep in conversation with Chan, though you knew she wanted to speak to Hansol as well.
"Hansol, why don't you stay and chat with Ana after Lord Chan leaves?"
His hand hovered above the notebook, his eyes widening in the slightest as if he wasn't expecting what you said.
"I'm alright here actually."
"She's very interested in you Hansol-"
"Chan has a great chance with her. I'll converse for your sake— as a friend, but I don't have romantic intentions with her."
You sighed, feeling like you were talking to a brick wall.
"What will it take to pursue her?"
It was Hansol's turn to sigh, his eyes closing briefly in exasperation.
"I've told you before, I have no intentions of marriage. It would have to truly be a love match by the grace of God."
"Would you hate me if I kept trying?" You asked, expecting him to snap. Hansol was unmoved, shaking his head.
"No, I couldn't ever hate you. But your efforts are troublesome for yourself. Focus on Lord Chan, or even Lord Seokmin, for your sister. Not me."
As much as you silently pleaded with him, you knew it was falling upon deaf ears. Hansol had made his decision a long time ago, unsatisfied with the hand full of options within the Ton that shamelessly threw themselves all over him. Simply for his looks and his title, hoping to become the next Vicountess. He hated it, knowing those were two of the things he cared the least about.
A few weeks later you were out for a stroll with Ana along the lake by the edge of town, watching families of the Ton out on the sunny day.
"How's progress been with Lord Jeon?" You held your hands clasped tightly, your deep purple dress feeling heavy in the summer heat.
"He's been okay, he's just so quiet. I'm quiet myself so the conversation always turns awkward…" She huffed, kicking a pebble in frustration. "I wish Lord Choi would be more receptive… he's always stoic around me."
You felt your gut twist up, knowing Hansol's words to you a few weeks prior. Not to mention, he tended to act the complete opposite around you. You felt uncomfortably guilty, even though you hadn't done anything wrong.
"I'm working on that Lord Choi now… What about Lord Lee?"
"Which one?"
"Ah, both Lee brothers have been pursuing you? You're the hottest Lady out this season I see!" She laughed at you, bumping her hip into yours.
"Lord Seokmin has talked to me a few times, but the real chase has been Lord Chan. That one… my word he is persistent."
"Speak of the devil…" You mumbled, catching sight of four figures approaching you on the trail ahead. The set of Lee and Choi brothers made their way towards you and Ana, stopping short to allow the two of you to curtsy in greeting.
"What a coincidence seeing you two out here!" Lord Seokmin stated cheerfully, his eyes crinkling with a smile.
"Pleasure seeing you again, Lord Seokmin." You smiled softly at him.
You caught Chan staring at Ana and gestured quickly with your head for him to talk to her.
"Lady Ana, would you mind joining me on a stroll?" He asked, your sister turning towards you for approval. You looked at her, your face reading 'don't look at me!' as she turned back and agreed. The pair wandered off down the trail as you continued to walk with the remaining three men, not far behind.
"Our cousin happens to be very interested in your sister. I wouldn't be surprised if a wedding was called for by the winter time." Seungcheol spoke, your head turning in confusion.
"Wait, cousin? Who's your cousin?" Your head whipped back and forth between the three, trying to place who they were talking about.
"Seungcheol and I are related to Chan and Seokmin. They're our cousins." Hansol quietly shared, as your mouth fell open in an 'o' shape.
"Small world? I had no idea you were cousins!"
"Doesn't take long to notice once you hear Chan speak for longer than twenty minutes." Seokmin added, the group chucking at his comment.
"So, Y/N. Hansol told me you were unwed?" Seungcheol asked, hands in his pockets as you trained your gaze towards the ground.
"It seems to be a hot topic for everyone…" You huffed in annoyance, tired of your status being discussed. "I am, and I happen to be very content with my cat. And taking care of my family."
Seungcheol hummed while Seokmin looked at you in disbelief, Hansol staying quiet.
"I can't believe a woman as beautiful and well carried as yourself hasn't found her husband! You're still young, don't count yourself out!" Seokmin met your gaze, trying to express his shock to the fullest.
"It's okay, every family needs their spinster right?" You joked, hands toying with the lace along your dress.
"Hey, if nobody snatches you up by the end of the season… You know where to find me." Seokmin says your name with a wink, causing your cheeks to grow hot.
Seungcheol laughed in amusement, playfully shoving his cousin.
Nobody caught the way Hansol's jaw ticked, his usually calm exterior slipping momentarily.
Prior to the next biggest ball of the season; you, Ana, and Mrs. Hong found your way to Jihyo's shop once more. Ana was being fitted into a shimmering pale pink gown, as you held the box your new gown resided in. Mrs. Hong swore it was her duty to splurge in you— both of you, as your host.
"You know, Lord Chan mentioned he liked me in pale colors." Ana looked smug in the mirror as you made a face back at her.
"Oh? You care what Lord Chan likes on you now huh?" You teased, sharing a playful look with Mrs. Hong.
"Well… I've given up on Lord Hansol. He's icing me out." The unnerving feeling resurfaced in your gut at the mention of his name. "At least Lord Chan makes an effort for me. I don't want to chase a man."
"I raised you right my dear." You nodded at her proclamation, glad she felt a sense of self worth in a society that thrived off male attention.
"If I didn't know better sister, I'd think he might be interested in someone else?" Her tone was questioning, and you felt as if she was accusing you of something.
"What do you mean, Ana?"
"I notice things… He seems to like talking to you… A lot."
"That's nonsense, he talks to me as if I'm another Joshua." You huffed, feeling her eyes lingering on you through the mirror.
"I'm not mad, Y/N, just be honest if you have feelings or not so I know. I don't want to be blindsided." You couldn't explain the feeling brewing inside you other than simply— awful.
You couldn't even give her a direct answer because you didn't know the truth yourself. You were at war with your emotions at all times, thoughts of Hansol filling your mind when you least expected it. You didn't want to hurt your sister, and you needed to regulate your feelings as soon as possible.
"I don't have feelings for him." You swallowed down the lump in your throat, praying the way your voice shook didn't give you away. You felt three pairs of eyes on you, making your unease grow.
"Alright… "
You were on edge the rest of the day, thankful Hansol decided to stay away from the Hong residence for the day. You couldn't face him right now.
As the maids worked to make you and Ana stunning for the ball, you found yourself forcing conversation with your sister and the maids to keep your mind off your troubles.
A particularly hard tug of your hair had your maid apologizing, you waving her off promising it didn't hurt. She worked to weave your hair into a braided crown, leaving framing curled pieces out. Your makeup was soft, yet a pop of eyeliner on the waterline was used to make your eyes stand out. Your dress was a low cut azure blue shade, lined with intricate lacing. The gown you sported tonight had to be the most beautiful one you've ever worn, your confidence skyrocketing.
"Oh sister, your Lord Hansol will be in shambles upon seeing you!" Ana teased next to you, her bright cheeks and pale pink dress contrasting your darker makeup and dress.
"Quit that, he's not my anything." You crossed your arms over your chest, her teasing getting the best of you.
She smirked, her eyes glimmering with mischief as she grabbed your hand to descend down the steps.
"Tell that to him! Joshua was telling me that Lord Hansol had his eyes set on a woman finally, but wouldn't tell him who. I'd bet 5 pounds it's you, sister."
"I doubt it, I'm too old."
"You're a year younger than him!" Ana sighed as the two of you exited the house, your heels echoing on the marble floors.
The Hong family gave the two of you generous compliments the whole ride to the residence, Joshua fanning himself for dramatic effect.
"Lady Y/N, you might be betrothed by the fall if you keep looking like that." He teased, his eyes skimming along you with a burning heat.
"Joshua, you're too much of a tease." You rolled your eyes, ignoring the prickle of your skin from his compliments. While he was your friend and host, he still was an unwed, attractive and highly coveted man within The Ton. You had to keep an eye on that one now…
The ball was hosted by the Yoon family, their residence being amongst one of the biggest within the city. Most balls were held in families second homes, either along the edge of the city or within the countryside. The Yoon family had so much wealth, their home was rivaled only to the royals.
"You're telling me this is their main home?" Ana watched the mansion fall into line of sight, Mr. Hong chuckling at her reaction.
"The Yoon's have been the most loyal family to the royals for centuries. Most of this wealth comes from their dedication to the crown." He explained.
"So tell me… do they have any bachelor sons..? I'll take a cousin as well." The carriage exploded with laughter at Ana's antics, her grin wide as you leaned into her with a giggle.
"Well, their only son Jeonghan, was married two seasons ago. I believe one of the cousins, Yoon Keeho is still unwed. You'll have fierce competition though, every mama in The Ton will be working overtime tonight to get him to look at their daughters." Mrs. Hong added, her champagne color dress sparkling under the street lights leaking into the carriage.
"Y/N, Mr. and Mrs. Hong, Joshua. If you find Lord Keeho for me, you'll be given front row seats to our weddding."
"I'm your sister, I better get a front row seat!" You smacked at her arm, giggling at your baby sister.
The carriage stopped in the long cobblestone road, the line of carriages extending far. Mr. Hong ushered everyone out, promising it would take another hour to reach the front.
"Xavier will find us after, let's get in while we can." He offered a hand to help you out, your heels clicking along the cobblestone as the group made its way to the entrance.
Inside the mansion was lively, hundreds of people swarming around the busy mansion. Bouquets of flowers bigger than you've ever seen were elaborately arranged, desserts and other finger foods stacked high on wracks all around. You were barely inside for a minute before everything started to overwhelm you.
"Oh! There's the Lee brothers! Let's make haste!" Ana announced, grabbing your hand to drag you towards the sibling pair. You tossed your head back, eyes pleading with Joshua as he laughed, shoulders going up in a shrug.
"Glad to see some familiar faces. How are the Ellerium Ladies doing tonight?!" Seokmin exclaimed, kissing the backs of both of your hands softly, Chan bowing in greeting.
"I've got to say, this is the most expensive looking home I've ever been in!" Ana joked, the two brothers laughing.
"The Yoon's know how to do it big!" Chan nodded in agreement. "Would you ladies like to join us for a dance?" He asked, his eyes landing on you, a silent way to ask for permission to steal your sister away.
"That would be marvelous, let's go!" You agreed, watching Ana instantly reach for Chan and make their way towards the center. A hand rested along your back gently, Seokmin guiding you with silent and gentle authority.
You wrapped your arms loosely around his neck, his hands barely hovering around your waist. The two of you gently swayed to the string symphony in the background, Seokmin dancing effortlessly alongside you.
"How's the season been for you?" You inquired, wondering if he had any serious prospects.
"Overwhelming. Boring. A bit of everything, I fear the social season will have worn me out come the fall." He chuckled.
"Too many Ladies to choose from?" You tilted your head, Seokmin shaking his own briefly.
"No, No. Not enough of the right ones."
"I'm sure there will be a wonderful Lady out there for you, my Lord. You're so kind it would be impossible not to." You commented as he removed his hand from your waist, giving you a twirl.
"Thank you, darling. You're right, maybe she's right in front of me?" His eyebrow went up, a soft smile upon his face. Your stomach churned, anxiety settling deep in your gut.
You didn't know how to handle all the sudden attraction from the different men. You thought after seven years, you would be past any potential feelings when the season came around. You weren't blind, you knew if you came with Ana that someone would try getting to know you. You just weren't ready for the commitment, having grown so comfortable on your own for years.
"I'll have to get back to you on that one, Lord Seokmin." You forced a smile as the song crescendo's to an end. You gave a quick bow, turning on your heels to find an escape. The air was turning suffocating as his implications swirled in your head. You heard him call your name as you pushed through the crowd, desperate to leave.
You spotted the glass door to the garden and sighed in relief, pushing through the doors with ferocity. The night air was refreshing, taking in gulps of air in attempt to settle your nerves. You walked further into the greenery, your breaths shaky as you found a bench to hide out at.
You kept your eyes closed, inhaling deep breaths to steady yourself. Seokmin couldn't be serious? What was it about you that drew their attention?
You heard a twig snap, startling you. Your eyes flew open and you whipped your head towards the sound, spotting a figure approaching you in the dark.
"Are you doing okay?" A familiar voice called out, Hansol's figure becoming visible under the twinkle of the floating candles in the garden.
"Wasn't expecting anyone out here, and most certainly not you…" The main source of your issues was standing in front of you, his expression blank yet the slightest turn of his head showed he was confused.
"Am I allowed to sit or are you going to bite my head off?" You huffed out a laugh, scooting over to allow him space. He settled quietly next to you, his eyes trained on the lilies in front of him.
"To answer you— no, I'm not doing okay." You sighed, pressing your palm to your forehead. Hansol turned, silently waiting for you to continue. "I don't deserve any of this attention." You barely mumbled out. If Hansol wasn't directly next to you, you doubt he would've heard. "I came here for my sister— just for my sister. I didn't ask to be pursued."
"Why do you feel so strongly about this? You don't want to give love a chance?" You laughed, the words rich coming from him.
"You're asking me when you're the one who's sworn off marriage. When you have women flaunting over you every day, Hansol." He opened his mouth to speak before you cut him off. "I know, you're only settling for the perfect one, but we're almost like two sides of the same coin now."
"Are you saying we're perfect for each other then?" A hint of a smirk was visible on his lips. You pursed your lips, not in the mood for his jests.
"What? No, stop toying with me." You grew frustrated, knowing he was causing most of your turmoil and he didn't even know.
"What if I told you I was one hundred percent serious just now." His tone dropped, his eyes wandering across your face.
Your lips parted, disbelief wracking your senses. The hum of the party grew into background noise as your ears rang.
"You're a fool."
"I would be more than pleased to be your fool." He was quick witted, not missing a beat with you. He typically remained quiet, never sharing his feelings but he couldn't hold back any longer. His hand resting on his thighs twitched, fighting the urge to grab your face and bring your lips towards him.
"Hansol, I.. I don't know if I'm ready for marriage. I can't guarantee you anything so please, please, find another Lady." Your voice shook, your resolve crumbling. You had to keep your walls up, no man— not even Hansol, could bring them down.
"I've waited all these years. I would wait for you until the day you're ready." His voice was sure and steady, his eyes the most serious you've ever seen them.
You worked the courage to meet his gaze fully, watching his pretty eyes linger on your own. In a moment so quick, you nearly missed it, his eyes landed on your lips before trailing back to your eyes. You sucked in a sharp breath, feeling the air around you changing.
Your eyes widened as you watched Hansol begin to lean down, the world slowing to a halt. It was just you and Hansol now, your heart thundering through your chest. Just as his lips nearly were on yours, you turned your head sharply. His breath fanned across your cheek as you trembled, his lips almost resting on the cheekbone.
"I'm sorry, Hansol, I truly am. I cannot be the one for you." Your gaze was settled on the shrub across from you, your cheek still turned away from the quick maneuver. You heard the shuffle of him leaning back and you stood up abruptly.
You took a step back, Hansol softly calling your name; an inkling of hurt lingering in his tone. His wide eyes were shining in the moonlight, making your stomach lurch. You shook your head roughly, tears forming in your eyes as you took off running through the garden, leaving him behind in disbelief.
You fought to keep the tears from spilling over, not wanting a trail of eyeliner running down your face as you reached the garden doors once again. Pushing through the crowd of people, you searched frantically for anyone you could confine in, when your eyes landed on Joshua; emerged in conversation with Seokmin.
That was the last place you could be right now.
You wandered in the opposite direction, ready to leave the event. You wanted to crawl into bed and sob, your heart aching like you've never felt it before. The longer you stood in this ballroom, the harder it was to breathe.
"Lady Y/N, are you alright?" You whipped your head to see Mr. and Mrs. Hong, chatting with Mr. and Mrs. Lee. The tears pooling in your eyes threatened to spill as you shook your head. Mrs. Hong leaped into action, wrapping her arms around you and telling Mr. Hong to find their carriage.
"Can you tell me what's wrong, dear?" She lead you towards a corner, away from prying eyes as you kept your focus trained towards the floor.
"I would like to leave. Ana and Joshua shouldn't leave early because of me, but I have to get out of here, Lady Hong."
Mr. Hong reappeared, alerting you to the carriage waiting out front.
"Should we grab Joshua and Ana?" He questioned, a worried look on his face upon seeing your trembling form.
"No dear, you stay here. I'll go with her and send Xavier back with the carriage as soon as we arrive." He nodded, resting a grounding hand on your shoulder briefly before Mrs. Hong pulled you out the grandoise doors.
The moment the doors of the carriage closed behind you, the well of tears that had built up finally came pouring out. Sobs wracked your body as you nearly wailed out from how hard the tears rushed down. You were aching. You typically held your emotions in well, an unwavering anchor for your family. The stress of the past few weeks finally caught up to you, with Hansol's words burning in your mind.
Mrs. Hong stayed quiet, not once forcing you to talk to her. She rubbed calming circles into your arms and whispered hushed promises that you'll be okay.
You hoped she was right.
By the time the carriage pulled up to the estate, your makeup was ruined. Streaks of eyeliner marked your face as your maid stared at you in shock when you entered the residence.
"Anica, help her get that makeup off. I'll be by soon."
You threw the door to your room open, your maid following close behind.
"My Lady, let me help you."
She worked to gently remove your makeup, wiping away the black streaked spots. You helped her take your hair down, pulling bobby pins out with puffy eyes. She remained silent at your request, though you felt her worrying eyes. When you finished and washed your face, you didn't expect to see Mrs. Hong sitting on your bed.
"Wanted to make sure you were alright dear. I won't make you tell me what happened, but I'm here as a listening ear if you'd like." You appreciated her approach, the opposite of what you're expecting when Ana got home.
You were tired, flopping onto the soft bed with a pout.
"I don't know what to feel and it scares me." You mumbled, toying with the top sheet as Mrs. Hong waited for you to continue. "I've avoided all affection for years, and I thought I wouldn't be this… weak… coming into this season."
"Having feelings doesn't make you weak, it's in our nature, sweetheart. You're allowed to feel this— to work through these feelings." For one of the few times in your life you were genuinely conflicted— and scared.
"Which one of them is it? I know it has got to be either Lord Seokmin or Hansol."
"What if I told you it was a little bit of both. Mostly Hansol though. Most definitely Hansol." Her mouth tweaked into a smirk, reading you like an open book.
"My my. For someone who didn't want a suitor this season, the boys are persistent about you!" You groaned, throwing your head back onto the pillow behind you.
"No matter how many times I say it, they keep coming back! Hansol, he… he almost kissed me tonight." Your revelation has her eyes bulging, her jaw dropping unexpectedly.
"You've put a spell on that boy. If Choi Hansol is pursuing anyone, he must really have his mind set on you."
"I don't know what to do Mrs. Hong! I can not see myself leaving Ellerium, and the thought of both Ana and I getting married when I should've done so about five years ago.. It's nerve wracking." You were never supposed to come here and catch feelings for someone. You're Ana's anchor. Her guidance throughout this crazy time in her life— to help her step into her womanhood. You felt selfish now.
"I know what you're thinking… about coming here only for Ana. From the way things are going, Lord Chan will propose eventually. He is committed to her." You nodded, seeing firsthand how Chan was working to be active in her life.
"Your mother passed when you were young. You've been a caretaker all your life; isn't it time you allowed someone else to take care of you?"
Her words weighed heavy in your mind that night as you tossed and turned.
The moment Ana came home she demanded you to share what happened. You groaned and begged her to blow the lamp out and that you'll catch her up in the morning. She was irritated, but respected your request just for once.
A week went by after the faithful night, and you had yet to see Hansol anywhere. He stopped by briefly one morning to retrieve something from Joshua, mumbling a stiff 'hello' to you as you returned the gesture.
Joshua wasn't stupid. His best friend who damn near lived in his house barely stepped foot in the residence for over a week. It didn't take a genius to put the pieces together. He knew something had happened out in the garden between you and Hansol. He was aware that Hansol liked hiding in the gardens during parties, and from the information he gathered from Seokmin; you had stormed out there after the mere mention of marriage.
"Tell me truthfully, what happened with you and Hansol?" He questioned you one day in the drawing room, halting his piano session to bore his eyes into yours.
"Nothing's wrong, Joshua…"
"Right… Because my best friend of fifteen years suddenly stops coming around after you flee the ball in tears. And suddenly he's 'Lord Choi' or 'Lord Hansol' once again when a week ago, he was just 'Hansol' to you." You gulped, knowing Joshua had read you with ease.
"He said he would wait for me.. to accept him. It was too much and I told him I'm not the Lady for him. Left him behind without looking back and it probably was for the best." He pinched the bridge of his nose, clearly distressed.
"When I say this, please don't take offense-"
"Don't disrespect a Lady, Joshua." You joked, earning an eye roll from him.
"You are so, so dense. My word… I've never seen Hansol like that before. The guy is usually off in his own world, yet he's willing to make you his entire world." You avoided his eyes, turning back to your book as your heart sank. "You deserve happiness, no matter how much you tell yourself you don't. Hansol is a perfect match for you."
"You're saying this because he's your best friend."
"I'm saying this," he paused to accenture his words. "Because I see two people who swore off love, holding out hope for a perfect love match. My word if I ever saw a love match, it would be you two."
You mulled over your conversation with Joshua's as you soaked in the tub that night. You would have a chance to speak to Hansol at the upcoming ball this Friday. His family was hosting this time; at their house in the countryside.
Your eyes were closed as thoughts of Hansol filled your mind. You wondered how his lips would've felt on yours, if he kissed gently— or with ferocity behind it.
The more you imagined scenarios of Hansol, the more you grew frustrated, with a dull ache formulating between your thighs. You needed to relieve some of your stress anyways.
You trailed a hand down your body, stopping to roughly pinch at your sensitive nipple, before dragging down to your center.
You teased the hole, pushing a finger inside with an airy sigh. Working yourself open, you pushed a second finger in, curling up to meet that spongy spot that had you trembling.
You remember how strong his hands felt along your waist. How big they were spread out across his journal.
You imagine his long fingers pumping inside of you right now instead of your own. Biting back a moan, you pinch your clit, eager for a quick and hard release.
The water in the tub sloshed around as you bucked your hips up, your orgasm hitting you suddenly as your vision went white. Hansol's name was quietly on your tongue as you came, wishing his face was buried in your sopping cunt.
You threw your head back against the edge of the tub, the blissful feeling easing the anxiety in your system; even if it was only momentarily.
You felt guilty, a sense of shame washing over you for touching yourself with him on your mind.
Little did you know, at the same time across town— Hansol was spread out on his bed, actions mirroring your own.
With quick pumps of his heavy cock, he came hard, jerking his hips up and spilling all over himself with a soft cry of your name.
His hand was nothing compared to what he hoped your cunt would be, but it would have to make do for now.
As the ball hosted by the Choi's approached, you felt uneasy with the thought of running into Hansol again. You knew you couldn't avoid him forever, and would have to tackle your conflicted emotions finally.
The night prior to the ball, you found sleep hard to come upon, Ana tossing in the bed next to you. She turned to you, and you felt her gaze even within the darkness.
"I'm not stupid you know. Something happened with you and Lord Hansol because you like each other. It may not be my business to know the full extent, but if you're holding back because of me… I urge you to let go, sister."
"Ana it is too late to be divulging in this-"
"I don't care," she spoke your name with intensity. "You've held back from him all season long. I like Lord Chan and haven't even thought of Lord Hansol in weeks."
You watched her from your peripheral, her hands clasped over her stomach as she stared at the ceiling.
"You've done your duty as a big sibling. Now go chase your dreams. Your Viscount is waiting!" She poked your side, earning a yelp from you as she laughed, body trembling from laughter in the darkness.
"You promise you're not mad at me? I don't even know if I truly like him or not Ana…" You felt her eyes on you, taking in your outline in the faint glow of the moonlight.
"Why would I be mad at my sister for pursuing her happiness? You've given me everything I could ask for in life, it's your time now to fight for yourself."
You swallowed hard, your throat closing up as you fought the tears out of your eyes. Taking up the mother role in your household at a young age had warped your ideal of happiness. Your every decision was for your siblings, never considering yourself first. You felt a sense of relief wash over you knowing your younger sibling basically gave her blessing.
"I love you, Ana."
"I love you too." You felt the bed shift and heard the bed sheets rustle before feeling her arms around you. You squeezed her back, finding comfort within her arms. The two of you stayed like that for a long time before her breathing evened out, signaling she had fallen asleep holding you. Your eyes eventually grew heavy, finally falling sleeping within your sisters arms.
"Earth to Y/N? Care to join us back here?" You snapped out of your daze, turning to Ana in the carriage as she smirked lopsidedly at you.
"Care to share what was on your mind?" She teased, eager to see you grow flushed.
"No, I'm alright." You stared at your bright red silk dress pooling at your feet, Ana's pale purple dress flowing into yours.
"My girls… you look stunning today." Mrs. Hong commented, a gentle smile on her face.
Her gaze met your own, her eyes holding yours like a way of reminding you to stay confident.
The Choi's countryside residence was only about an hour from your house, the journey short compared to the one you had made from Ellerium a few months prior. Their home was beautiful, acres of lush greenery filling your vision as a string of lights lighted the path towards the entrance.
"You better find Lord Hansol and don't run away this time." Ana whispered to you, extending her pinkie out.
"No promises…" You looped your pinkie around hers, wiggling to seal the deal.
As everyone filed out of the carriage, you couldn't help but worry. You were a ticking time bomb, your emotions heightened like never before. The simple sight of Hansol could set you off right now. How were you to have a responsible conversation with him right now?
The inside of the Choi's country home was beautiful, marble floors and high ceilings throughout the whole foyer. The strum of the symphony helped keep you grounded, softly humming to the count.
"We're going to search for refreshments. Care to join us dear?" Mrs. Hong glanced at you, her eyebrow going up in question. You nodded, arm linked within Ana's as you trailed behind the family.
You kept your arm looped within Ana's for the majority of the night, sticking close by her side. You were undoubtedly pissing her off, knowing you were avoiding Hansol at all costs still. Upon sight of Chan, she squealed in excitement, unhooking your arm from hers.
"Stop being a wuss. I'm going to Lord Chan now." She pinched your arm hard before spinning on her heels, the brown haired man greeting her with a wide grin.
You huffed, spinning around to go and find Joshua to conspire with. You didn't want to be out on the floor alone, searching for your friend when you caught sight of the very man you were avoiding.
Hansol wasn't looking in your direction, as he was engaged in deep conversation with a woman with dyed ginger hair. He looked handsome, his dark brown hair parted in the middle and styled. He sported a navy outer coat, similar to the ball prior.
You tried not to stare, but you were enticed by him, knowing you would have to speak to the Lord eventually. You were making your way towards him when you caught him throwing his head back in laughter, a hand resting on the girl's shoulder.
You stopped in your tracks, the brief moment of clarity you had dissipated as you only felt anger and disappointment with yourself now. Hansol's eyes lifted up, catching yours glaring at him a few feet away. His smile was slowly wiped off his face as you had a staring match. You turned sharply, storming away as you heard your name called out behind you.
You didn't know why you were so mad, you had no right to be. Maybe because you were taking a leap to swallow your pride, just to see him getting cozy with another woman.
"Wait! God you walk fast…" You heard Hansol catch up to you, a hand falling onto your shoulder.
You whipped around furiously, tossing his hand off of you.
"How dare you touch me, Lord Hansol? In front of all of these watchful eyes? I am not your betrothed." You hissed, Hansol jumping back from the venom in your voice.
"I'm confused, what has gotten into you?" He whispered your name, his voice calm despite your malice towards him.
"You're absolutely unbelievable." You scoffed, shaking off his hand that reached out for you once more. You didn't care that the members of The Ton around the two of you had to be staring, you felt embarrassed and had to disappear.
You found yourself drawn towards the garden once again, the big glass doors already wide open as you ran out into the greenery. You heard your name called, Hansol following behind you. He casually strolled up to you, slightly out of breath from the light jog before.
"Come back inside, let's talk out of the rain."
You were so overwhelmed you hadn't even noticed the light drizzle pattering against your skin.
"No, no, because I'm livid!" You threw your hands up, frustration taking over now that you were face to face and alone. "I hate you, Choi Hansol!"
He wore a look of surprise, his lips parting as he couldn't understand why you were going off on him suddenly.
"What have I done-"
"I hate you for making me feel this way! Why did you come into my life and have to change things?" You felt the tears prickling in your eyes, the lump in your throat making it hard to speak.
Hansol stared, his expression conflicted as he remained silent, waiting for you to finish.
"I- I just… I don't know how you could pick me, over Ana. I should've stayed in Ellerium, I should've never came here." You shook your head, your tears finally falling.
"I can't believe I let myself get caught up in you, how could I be so stupid to allow myself to yearn for your… your love." Your voice trailed off, shaking as you laid your emotions down on the line. Hansol's hair was becoming damp, droplets falling into his eyes yet he couldn't care less.
"You're not stu-"
"Yet you had to make me feel embarrassed in there. All over another woman like that? I should have known this would be how it turns out."
"You cannot be talking about Seulgi-"
"I don't give a damn who she is! She isn't me!" Your eyes widened. Hansol's eyebrow shot up as he snorted at you.
"Can I speak now?" He questioned, watching you carefully like you would continue to chew him out with a single breath. You nodded slowly, the rain making your hair feel heavy, your perfect curls falling into a mess along your shoulders.
"You're scared, that's what feelings can do to you. To any of us really. You have no idea how much courage it took me that night in the garden to try and kiss you." You averted your gaze, remembering how his breath fanned along your cheek. "It hurt a lot, yet I cannot blame you a single bit. I shouldn't have came onto you suddenly, knowing how you felt about your independence."
He pushed his damp hair back, praying you didn't notice the way his hand shook from anxiety.
"No matter how many times you can yell at me, scream, and curse me out, I would still choose you. Again and again in every lifetime. You can try and push me off onto your sister, but it would never work." You were trembling, unsure if it was the rain causing your shaking, or the pound of your heartbeat.
"But… Ana is more of a debutante, an exceptional woman-"
"Yet it was never her. It would never be her. It was always you from the start." He proclaimed softly, his voice never wavering with you.
You were shocked, taking a step back as he stepped an inch closer, rain blurring your vision. Or was it the tears swimming in your eyes?
"Marriage has never been on the table for me. I have traveled all along the globe and yet that desire I desperately searched for… I have only found once meeting you. You are the bane of my existence, and the object of all my desires." Hansol's gaze was steady, his eyes glimmering back at your own tear filled eyes.
You cried out, a combination of a laugh and huff, reaching for his hands to slide into your own. You were both drenched at this point, the rain coming down harder now, yet neither of you cared.
"Hansol… I'm so scared. I'm scared because I can see a future with you that I've never imagined before. If you are patient with me… I think I would love to be yours." You took every ounce of strength to get out your confession, watching the slow spread of a smile forming on his lips.
"You do not have to accept my love immediately, or embrace it, or even allow it. Knowing you, you probably will not. But you must know, I will wait for the day you are ready, with open arms." His hands drew circles into your own, his grip squeezing you gently.
His proclamation moved you, tears silently falling from your eyes once more. Hansol brought a thumb up, brushing away the stray tears. You sniffled, feeling sheepish for still wondering about the ginger haired woman from earlier.
"So.. who was that girl in there?"
"Seulgi?" Hansol laughed, shaking his head in amusement. "A childhood friend of mine. She's been married with two kids for six years now."
Your lips formed into a pout, feeling silly for jumping to conclusions so quickly. Perhaps you already were whipped for him.
"Now I feel ashamed… I'm so sorry." He grinned lopsidedly at your sheepishness.
"Don't apologize. I told you there's nothing to worry about. My heart fully belongs to you." He took your hand, guiding it to his heart to feel the quick thumping there. He was anxious, his heartbeat showing how intense the situation was for him as well.
"Is it alright if I kiss you now? Or will you run away from me again?" You smiled up at him, rolling your eyes as you pulled him closer.
"I think I'm done running for now."
"Good, otherwise I'd have to get you a bell miss." You laughed at him, watching his eyes crinkle as his grin grew even wider.
With his finger coming under your chin to tilt you up towards him, he leaned down, gently pressing his slightly chapped lips against yours. Your mouths moved slowly together as you melted into his arms. The patter of rain continued to pour down on the two of you, a background thought as his hands gripped your waist tightly.
Anyone in The Ton could walk out into the garden right now and find the two of you tangled up in one another. Despite all of that, you had no care about who saw you.
Hansol pulled back, your eyes slowly opening to catch his wide, glowing eyes peering down at you.
"Was that okay with you?" He asked cautiously, searching your face for any discomfort.
"Your lips are better than I ever imagined." You mumbled, your eyes falling onto the pink flesh once more.
"You've thought about this before?"
"You're telling me you haven't, My Lord?" You teased, playing with the hairs that curled at his nape.
"Oh I've imagined more than just that…" Hansol had a new surge of confidence now that you had accepted his hand.
"Oh? Do tell?"
"If you'd allow it… perhaps I could show you instead." His gaze was heavy, a burning desire behind his otherwise calm expression.
Your stomach jumped, this time in excitement rather than anxiety.
"I would be honored, Hansol."
The adrenaline rush that flowed through you as Hansol lead you back in through a private entrance had you buzzing. The two of you were soaking wet, sneaking into the home through the entrance used most frequently by maids, to avoid any unwarranted attention from the event carrying on inside.
"We're not too far off from my suite." He spoke in a hushed tone, his hand gripping yours tightly.
As you rounded the corner leading to the stairs, a young maid appeared, jumping with a quiet yelp. You jumped in response, not expecting to get caught so easily.
"Lord Hansol?" Her eyes traveled between Hansol and yourself, most likely wondering why you were drenched and using the maid entrance.
"Marge, keep quiet on this one yeah? If my mother asks, I stepped out for a while." He placed a single finger over his lips, a plead for the maid to remain quiet. A faint smile formed across her face, nodding in agreement as she bowed quickly and hurried past.
The two of you shared a look, both of your lips twitching to fight the laughter off. Hansol continued on, stumbling up the stairs as the strums of the symphony in the ballroom rang through the staircase. Eventually, he turned down a long hallway, stopping at a wooden door. He pulled out a key, unlocking the door and quickly dragging you in behind him.
You watched as he lit the oil lamp, the room coming to life as you took in the area around you. You spotted a guitar and fiddle in the corner, a stand with sheet music next to it. A large wooden desk took up the middle of the room with a small couch nearby. His bed took up a majority of the room, the high frame catching your attention. There were drawings and postcards all along his walls, creating a very unique flare to his room that fitted Hansol.
"Like what you've done with the place." He laughed, shoulders coming up in a nonchalant shrug.
"Could use some improvement." The click of the lock caught your attention, Hansol leaning against the door casually. His arms were crossed over his chest, taking in your form from afar. His silent authority had an effect on you, Hansol not saying a word yet you knew what he wanted.
"You should change out of your dress. Can't have you catching a cold now."
"You should come untie me then." You spun around, pulling your damp hair over one shoulder as you heard the rustle of his trousers approaching. In seconds, a soft hand pressed along your shoulder blade, another toying with the ribbon down the back of your dress. Painfully slow, Hansol unraveled the back, your straps slipping over your shoulders. His breath hit against your neck, causing goosebumps to form with a shiver. He played with the strap, tugging it further down as your breath quickened.
"Step out of it." His voice was soft, yet you felt the command behind it.
You slid the red satin down, Hansol's hands lightly trailing along your body as you stepped out of it. His hands moved to quickly untie your corset, feeling the shell drop around your feet. His hand was steadying as you were nearly bare for him. You slowly spun around— the sharp inhale of air at the sight of you, unmissable.
"Your turn." You tugged on his white button up, the navy overcoat long gone the moment he stepped in the room. With a faint smirk, he held eye contact as his fingers flew down the buttons, his chest slowly revealing itself. He tweaked with the buttons along his trousers, pulling them down painstakingly slow. You bit your lip in anticipation, Hansol fighting the smug look off from how eager you had grown.
You both stood in front of each other, stripped down to just underwear. Your eyes shifted frantically, wondering who would make the first move.
Hansol took a step closer, his hand grazing against your hip. "Don't get shy on me now." Your name coming from him sounded sultry, a fire igniting in your lower belly.
You slid your hands up his chest, wrapping your arms around his neck loosely.
"Kiss me again, Hansol."
He was weak when it came to you, wasting no time to capture your lips against his own. The kiss was rough this time, the weeks of unresolved tension coming to a head. His grip around your hips tightened, backing you up towards the edge of his bed.
The backs of your thighs hit the edge, causing you to topple back onto the bed. You remained connected, Hansol devouring your lips. You readjusted towards the middle of the bed, Hansol resting his hips against your own now. You felt him, thick and heavy, straining against his undergarment. You pulled him impossibly closer, the smack of your lips driving you insane. Hansol grinded his hips into yours, his length rubbing against your clit dangerously.
You gasped into his lips, moaning against him as you were desperate to keep his lips on your own. One of his hands trailed down your body, feather light touches along your burning skin. Finding your sensitive nipple, Hansol gave a tug, causing your hips to buck up into his own in pleasure.
He broke away from your lips, your moans spilling free as he worked on both of your breasts, neither one safe from the attack of his lips and mouth. His clothed length continued to dig against you, a wet patch forming in your underwear from the delicious drag.
"Hansol… it's too much." You groaned, a finger sliding through the mess of locks as he sucked and bit your sensitive buds.
"Tell me," He pulled off of you with a wet pop. "Have you ever touched yourself?"
You nodded, your eyes hooded as you stared down at Hansol who worked his way down your body. He kissed along your stomach, stopping short of your thighs as he gripped along your underwear.
"Yes."
His gaze darkened, slowly dragging your panties down with his jaw going slack. The sight had you squirming, eager to feel him between your aching thighs.
"I touched myself to the thought of you before, Hansol. I imagined it was you splitting me open instead." You admitted breathlessly, watching as he halted all actions.
As if his brain was frying in real time, he swore he could cum his pants from the imagery alone. He closed his eyes with a groan, imagining how you looked fingering yourself as his name spilled from your lips.
"Let me bring your fantasies to life then."
With little warning, you felt a long finger swirl around your entrance before pushing in. Gathering some of the slick there, he brought the finger back up to your clit, swirling his finger as you wailed from the sensation.
"Please try to keep it down. I don't need my family knowing I'm defiling you like this."
"You're such an ass-"
You jolted from the intruding feeling of two long fingers pushing into your cunt, your slick making it easy for Hansol to slide them in. You gripped him impossibly tight, fisting the sheets near your head as you rocked your hips. He worked you open, scissoring his fingers inside to stretch yourself for him.
"Have you had anyone taste you before?"
You felt your cheeks heat up as you nodded, thinking of the shop owner you had a crush on, back at Ellerium that you had given your first kiss to. He had ate you out along the counter of his shop after hours, but not going farther to 'save yourself for your future suitor.'
He hummed, leaning down to kiss along your plump thighs. His kisses trailed up, stopping just short of your cunt. His breath was sending chills up your spine as he glanced up at you momentarily.
"Bet I'm better than him."
His face was buried in your pussy instantly, a scream escaping you as his tongue moved brutally. He sucked loudly on your clit, fingers pumping into your dripping pussy with a gush.
You were trembling, gripping his hair tightly as he hummed into your cunt, devouring you like you were his final meal.
Your hips were chasing after him uncontrollably, his tongue alternating between fucking in and out of your hole and sucking on your clit. His nose bumped against your clit, sending shockwaves through you. His hand was resting along your thigh, keeping you spread wide for him.
You weren't going to last much longer, the buildup of your orgasm approaching quicker than you expected.
The vibrations of Hansol's groans against your cunt enhanced the feeling, your legs shaking as you moaned desperately.
"Hansol, I feel different.." You huffed out, the growing heat of your orgasm feeling more intense than you've remembered before.
"That's it, let go for me."
The view of him glaring up from between your thighs was sinful, his mouth playing you like a fine-tuned instrument. Hansol was in his element, enjoying every quiver and whimper you gave him.
One final pump of his fingers, and a rough swirl of his tongue along your clit had your orgasm rocking your body, stars shooting within your vision.
Hansol took everything you gave him, drinking up every drop of you as you yanked on his hair, grinding your cunt deeper into his face. He sighed blissfully, eventually pulling his face away with kisses all along your inner thigh as you came down for your high.
"Would you like me to give a rating?" You teased, sitting up on your elbows. Watching carefully, Hansol wiped his face, licking his fingers clean like it was nothing.
"Save it for after perhaps?" He chuckled, stepping back to slip out of his underwear, his thick length slapping up against his stomach.
Your jaw dropped at the sight of him, long and heavy, his tip red and leaking from neglect. He gave a few light strokes, holding your gaze as your wide eyes watched him eagerly.
"Hansol, let me taste you." You crawled down the bed towards him on your hands and knees, reaching for the thick length.
"No, not this time. This is about you." You glanced up at him through your lashes, a smug look forming on your face.
"This time? You plan on defiling me once again, Hansol?" He made a face at you, causing you to bust into laughter.
"I'm going to be ravishing you for the rest of our lives, viscountess." His tone was teasing, though you knew he was serious. Your stomach flipped at his implication, the conversation in the garden flooding your mind.
"Well then, don't leave me waiting, viscount." Your grin matched his own, his lips colliding with yours as he wore the smile on his lips still.
Not once breaking the kiss, he pushed you back down, crawling on top of you once more. His cock was poking against your inner thigh, an airy sigh leaving your lips from the feel.
"Is this the first time-"
"Yes… I've…I've never…" You trailed off, your cheeks growing flush.
"There's nothing to be ashamed or shy about. I want to know so I can take care of you, properly." His gaze was soft and reassuring, his hand trailing along your body slowly.
"Relax, I'm going to be careful." One of his hands slotted between your thighs, guiding two fingers past your glistening folds. You purred into his ear, allowing him to pry you open once more.
"You're doing so good for me." You hummed in response, feeling his digits slide out of you. He shifted above you, bringing your legs around his waist. The head of his cock brushed against your hole as he lined himself up, stopping just short of pushing in.
"If you're uncomfortable at any moment, do not hesitate to stop me." You nodded, your heart thumping in your chest.
"Use your words."
"Yes, I will, Hansol." You managed to get out breathlessly and the corner of his lip twitched.
"Good girl."
Hansol slowly pushed his cock in, the tip alone causing you to throw your head back with a loud wail.
Your walls clenched around him tightly, Hansol taking shaky breaths as he eased in inch by inch. He stopped about halfway to allow you to adjust, your hands gripping the sheets so hard your knuckles turned white.
"So perfect, you're doing wonderful." His words were igniting low in your belly, clenching around him on impulse. It took every ounce of strength to keep Hansol from fully ramming his cock in after you squeezed around him.
"Keep going, I'm okay." Your voice wobbled as he glided the last bit of his cock into you, bottoming out with a groan. You stayed like that for a moment, before the throb of his cock started becoming unbearable.
"Hansol, please move."
He pulled out nearly to the tip, before snapping his hips slowly back into yours. The sound that left you was guttural, Hansol groaning in time with you.
He kept his pace slow, admiring the way you shook under him, your eyes struggling to stay open with every thrust. The sight was lighting a fire in him, determined to keep your pleasure in the forefront for tonight.
You forced your eyes open, catching the way his lips were parted, the chocolate brown locks dangling over his lust-filled eyes.
The clap of your skin connecting filled the room, Hansol's lips on your neck driving you crazy. You clamped down on him, earning a deep groan in response. You needed him to pick up the pace— and desperately. You were fully adjusted to him, and eager to get wrecked.
"Hansol hon, can you speed it up a bit?"
His lips detached from your neck, tossing you a glance as he gave a strong roll of his hips. His cock dug into you, making a shaky moan leave your mouth instantly.
"Are you sure?"
"I am begging you to ruin me."
Hansol was a simple man. His lady asks for something, and she shall receive.
As if a switch flipped in him, he brought your leg higher up, a shaky breath escaping your lips in preparation. He drew his hips back, ramming into you deeply, the change in angles making his cock drag along your walls sinfully.
You were gushing around him, your wetness dripping where your bodies connected. Hansol watched carefully as his cock slid in and out of you, the clap of your thighs against his own driving him insane.
You were squeezing him so impossibly hard, Hansol knew he wouldn't be lasting much longer. He focused on your clit, gathering your slick from your hole and drawing circles along the bud.
"Oh my god!" You had never felt pleasure build up like this before, gripping the back of Hansol's neck as he worked for your second orgasm.
You felt the familiar build of your climax, mumbling nonsense as Hansol's cock split you open, his moans reverberating in your ear. His pace had picked up, rough drags of his veiny cock filling your warmth, your own moans pushing him closer to the edge.
"Hansol, I think I'm close.. so close.." Your eyes screwed shut as you felt the coil inside you snap, Hansol's name flying off your tongue as you spasmmed on his cock, shaking hard while you gushed down his length.
"Perfect, so perfect, god you're perfect." He buried his face in your neck, his hands moving to roughly grip your waist, chasing his high with a heavy slap of his balls against your puffy and overstimulated clit.
You could barely breathe, the waves of your climax still jolting you. In attempt to help Hansol out, you squeezed down on him, a guttural moan ripping from his mouth as he gave a final few shaky strokes. Quickly pulling out to cum along your stomach with his head thrown back, he moaned your name lowly.
Hansol leaned toward, dropping his weight next to you, shaky breaths filling the room. You were spent, your pussy aching from the stretch moments prior.
"Ready for your rating now?" You teased. Hansol huffed a mix of a strangled laugh and groan, lifting his head to meet your eyes.
"I'd rather not hear it at all." He deadpanned, yet the gleam in his eye told you he was messing with you as well.
"I wasn't too rough was I? I wanted to stay slow for your first time but-"
"But I am a heathen and wanted you to pick up the pace. Don't worry, you were amazing." You pinched his cheek, catching the light flush on his face before he ducked away, his ears still showing the pinkness.
"Was it not your first as well?" You tilted your head, Hansol shaking his in response.
"You thought I could devour you like that with no experience?" His eyebrow shot up as you opened your mouth to speak, closing it quickly as the words couldn't come to you.
"Well I know what you were doing on your European tour then…" He rolled his eyes, sliding off the bed to enter the attached bathroom, returning with a damp rag. He worked the rag over your body, soothing any spots he may have overdone earlier.
"To answer you, there has only been one other." You averted your gaze, feeling better knowing Hansol was nearly as inexperienced as yourself. "Anything else, Seungcheol has taught me."
You snorted, not expecting him to say that. The grin on his face gave away that he was teasing, earning a smack on his arm from you.
"You're insufferable, Choi Hansol."
"You'll learn to deal with it, my Lady." He planted a light kiss against your temple. Picking up his white button, up he helped you slip it on, only bothering with 2 of the buttons before you swatted him away, turning into the pillow. You heard him rustle with something, his trousers back on as he slid into the bed beside you.
"My sister is probably worried about where I am…" You suddenly felt a sense of consciousness, remembering the ball that was occurring a few floors down.
"No worries, Joshua knows." You cracked an eye open, watching the goofy expression spread on Hansol's face.
"How in the world does Joshua know?"
"You were too concerned yelling at me to notice Joshua watching us from the window." You move to throw a pillow at him, Hansol hiding his face with a cackle. "I caught him before we took the back entrance, we made eye contact briefly. He knows."
"Wonderful… Now Ana will be screaming about babies when I go back…"
"Speaking of babies… Should we make one right now?"
"Don't make me smother you with this pillow, Choi."
When you returned to the Hong residence the next day, hand in hand with Hansol, the drawing room exploded with commentary.
Ana shouted a quick witted "I knew it!" as Joshua slowly clapped, shaking his head with a congratulations.
"See this was the cousin I was talking about!" Chan added, laughing as you rolled your eyes at him in faux annoyance.
"About damn time, anyone with eyes could have seen you two from the start. The first dinner together I knew you would end up like this!" Mrs. Hong commented, bouncing on the balls of her feet.
Ana squealed, throwing her arms around both you and Hansol. "I'm so happy for you, sister. You have no idea how much you deserve this." She pulled back with glowing eyes as you held her gently, your soft smile mirroring her own.
"Thank you, Ana. Couldn't have happened without you."
"Uh.. Yeah, I know!" She tossed her hair over her shoulder dramatically.
"Actually we have some news to share, now that you're here." Your eyebrow quirked up as Chan and Ana glanced at each other.
"We're engaged!" She whipped her hand out, the expensive diamond glistening unmistakably.
Your whole face dropped, Hansol's mouth flying open as he shared a look with you, knowing you were seething.
"You got engaged. Without my blessing beforehand?" Your eye twitched, the smile on Chan's face falling.
"Well, you know. Ana was telling me how much you approved of me and that you wanted her wed by the end of the season. So uh, surprise?"
Hansol didn't know if he would have to hold you back from scratching his cousin's eyeballs out, so he rested a grounding hand on your back.
Chan wasn't wrong at all, but you felt offended knowing he didn't ask you first. It had come up briefly between the two of you recently, but you had no idea he would've taken the initiative to go ahead and propose.
"Lee Chan, you are very lucky I like you and said you'd be a good match for Ana." Your anger subsided as you stepped forward, wrapping your arms around Chan. He went stiff, before returning the hug with a sigh of relief.
"I wish I knew before but, I understand. I'm just happy you two are betrothed." You stepped back with a calm smile on both of your faces, Chan nodding in agreement.
"So… am I now your brother in law or your cousin in law? Hansol did you pop the question yet?" Chan grinned widely, watching the way his cousin's eyes widened half a fraction; the typical blank face Hansol wore shifting to one of confusion.
"Uhh, not quite…"
"Well.. what are you waiting for Hansollie? Two weddings are better than one!" Chan gave a hearty laugh. You turned around, meeting Hansol's slightly panicked eyes.
"Oh my, father is going to flip when he finds out both of his daughters came back with a husband."
"Hansol isn't my husband-"
"Yet!" Everyone in the room called out, your face growing hot. Hansol scratched the back of his neck, a lopsided grin on his face.
As you met his gaze once again, you both casually lifted your shoulders, grinning at one another. You had found your perfect match, and after all the years of turmoil, there couldn't have been anyone better for you than Hansol.
The grin on your face was so wide your cheeks hurt. No matter how hard you tried, you and your sister were inseparable. To know you would be next door neighbors, even after marriage was joyous. Ana was bouncing off the walls, already rambling about how you needed to make haste and go dress shopping by midday.
Hansol came over to you and wrapped an arm around your waist, his bright gaze turned down towards you.
"I think 'Lady Choi' sounds perfect going before your name doesn't it?"
"Perhaps you are right, Lord Choi." You grew overwhelmed with your emotions, burying you face into his chest. Ana squealed in the background how cute two of you were, as the vibrations from Hansol's laugh echoed against your cheeks. His embrace was warm and secure, giving you a new meaning of home you didn't think you'd ever find.
The ladies of Ellerium would be leaving, but your heart was full, knowing that a piece of home would always remain with you.

Soonyoung paced around his living room, anxiously chewing on his nails. He knows he fucked up— big time, and he has no idea how to solve it.
He knew he should've never crossed that line in your friendship, but now, six months of fucking later, he felt the inevitable hitting him.
His feelings for you were undeniable.
He swore that catching feelings was never his plan, that the two of you could just find an outlet in each other to release your tension. At least that was what he told himself after each time you met up.
The very first time you hooked up was at Seungcheol's annual halloween party. You were dressed up as a devil, all red leather clad— a sinful sight for Soonyoung. He always had been attracted to you, but seeing you in your costume made him get hot around his collar.
Almost as if you were meant to get together that night, Soonyoung was dressed as an angel. Everyone angel needs their devil right?
Which lead to you bent over the bathroom sink, taking Soonyoung's cock from behind as he watched you meticulously through the mirror. The moment he caught your glassy eyes staring back at him in the reflection, trembling beneath him, he knew he was wrecked.
Everything shifted after halloween night. Every other weekend when your group went to the club, you would never arrive at the same time as Soonyoung. Yet somehow you would always leave together, staggered fifteen or twenty minutes apart, before you hopped in the uber he ordered— eager to tear each other's clothes off at his place.
Soonyoung had started to get too comfortable, your routine feeling too domestic after a while. You had a neatly folded stack of clothes in his closet, a travel sized bottle of your favorite perfume in his bathroom, alongside your shampoo.
The familiarity was becoming suffocating, the quiet yearning Soonyoung felt each time he had you in his arms left his heart aching.
Six months down the road and he just blew whatever fragments of your friendship that were left to smithereens.
The words 'i like you' rolled off Soonyoung's tongue faster than his brain prepared for, his eyes blowing wide after he felt you grow stiff next to him.
If not for the quiet breaths and the way your eyes were glued to the ceiling, Soonyoung would've assumed you fell asleep. The silence after stretched to the point Soonyoung was feeling uncomfortable. He was about to take back his proclamation when you finally sighed out.
"Oh! What do you mean Soonie? Like, as a friend?"
You were being ignorant purposely, silently praying that the current arrangement you had wouldn't be destroyed. You shifted your gaze towards him briefly, and carefully watched as his adam's apple bobbed.
"Well, no. Not in the friend sense-"
"Soonyoung…I… I don't know what to say, honestly."
He felt his stomach drop, the regret hitting him deep in his gut. He definitely should have stayed quiet, his bad habit of not thinking before speaking biting him in the ass now.
"I… I mean it. I know we promised not to fall for each other but…It's been impossibly hard with how well we fit together." He whispered your name, growing more uncertain of his rash decision.
His head and heart felt like they were going to split him in half. His thoughts were flooded with insecurity and worry, screaming just how stupid he was. Meanwhile, his heart was hammering in his chest, yearning and aching for you to reciprocate his desire.
The lavender shade of your LED lights reflected off your face, still turned away from Soonyoung. You were fighting off a tremble, hoping he wouldn't notice how you were affected.
You knew Soonyoung was a lover boy and still got involved with him. This was on you for allowing it to get this far. Despite the risks you both played into, a part of you knew this would be the road you would eventually wind down. Perhaps that same part of you ached to be loved by him as well. You couldn't allow yourself to get attached though, that was never in the cards.
"I understand that. Yet, we shouldn't allow feelings in right now… I don't know if I'm ready for that." You felt like a villain, allowing those words to flow from your mouth.
Soonyoung was slowly shattering, fighting to keep his composure knowing he wanted to fuss at you. To wail and throw his hands in the air and beg you to love him.
"You're telling me, after all these nights together, spilling every vision we had for the future together, you feel absolutely nothing?" Soonyoung tried to keep the wobble out of his tone, but he wasn't the most composed person usually.
"I don't want to get into this right now…"
He huffed out a mix of a laugh and noise of disbelief, catching your eyes finally. The way they were swimming when you glared back at him, he knew you were pushing your true feelings away.
"Bullshit. You're afraid to admit how you feel aren't you?"
"Don't. Push me, Soonyoung." Your voice was laced with venom, furious that he was prying so hard.
The room fell silent, the rattle of your fan above being the only noise to fill the space. You were in a staring match, Soonyoung's eyes wide and wandering across your face. Your gaze bore back, passion and fury swirling in your irises.
"I think you should go." Your tone was softer now, just above a whisper.
You watched Soonyoung's mouth open slightly, like he planned on arguing, before the part of his lips settled into a thin line.
"If that's what you want."
The air became unbearable, silence stretched long past the comfortable realm. The sound of the rustle of sheets and Soonyoung searching your room for his clothes felt like eons. He dressed in silence, casting glances towards you while doing so. You adverted your gaze, shifting further underneath your blanket.
"You know-"
"Soonyoung, please go. Before you make things worse."
You needed him out immediately, before your words started biting at the back of your throat regretfully. He gazed down at you one last time, like a sad puppy in search of its owner, before he gave a curt nod and shut your bedroom door softly behind him.
When you heard the front door click shut, the tears you felt welling up made an appearance, staining your pillowcase as you cried into the late night.
In the parking lot below, Soonyoung slammed his hand over his steering wheel, angry at himself for even uttering the three words.
At least you knew now, as the desire was nipping at Soonyoung for the past few months. You were the first person he texted in the morning, and the last one to hear from him at night. He couldn't go any longer without letting his affections being known.
He recounts the events that occurred two days ago while digging through his jean pockets he wore that day, searching all along his dresser and bathroom counters. He is doing his best not to freak out, but it isn't in his nature to remain calm. His apartment will be a warzone unless he finds what he desperately is in search of.
His thousand dollar diamond earrings are nowhere to be found.
Soonyoung swears he's going to pass out.
The graduation gift from his grandmother never left his ears, yet he is here searching his apartment frantically.
His stomach twists with the sick realization that he had them in when he went over to your place.
He's pacing his living room now, more times than he can count; mumbling about ways he can get them without talking to you. Maybe Seungkwan could stop by for some drinks, and grab them for him while you were in the bathroom?
"Orrrr…You could text her and ask to pick them up and stop being a pussy?" Jihoon drags on over the phone speaker, his eyebrows raised as he watches Soonyoung lose his mind over facetime.
"She seemed offended with the mere mention of feelings, Hoonie." Soonyoung ignores his other comment, too focused on what he can possibly say to you in the first place.
"Okay. Take a breath and stop pacing for fuck's sake." Soonyoung stills at his friend's words, snatching up the phone and plopping down on the couch. "Better."
"Now, you can wait a few days to let things simmer down and then reach out to her. Keep it straightforward and simple." Jihoon coaches him over the line, Soonyoung's eyes wide and filled with possibilities.
"I can't wait any longer. Those are from my grandmother, those earrings don't leave my ear a single day!"
"Well clearly they escaped the other day…" Jihoon mumbles, earning a huff from Soonyoung.
"Okay, whatever. I just… I can't reach out to her now. I can't bring myself to face her so soon." He drags a hand down his face, your words from two days ago rattling in his skull. The wound was fresh, and showing up now would just reopen it.
"You can't complain about needing these earrings as soon as possible, and not being able to face her in the same sentence. Make up your mind brother." Jihoon's always the right choice for Soonyoung to confide in when he's stressing. His friend never beat around the bush and gave it to him straight.
"You gotta make a sacrifice. Either go without the earrings until you're ready to face her… Or, suck it up and confront this."
Jihoon's words linger in Soonyoung's mind another two days later. His hand hovers over your name in his contacts, anxiety chewing him up over the thought of texting you. He feels defeated, knowing he has to fold to get his most expensive piece of jewelry back.
If only he could send Seungkwan over to snatch them up. He denies Soonyoung's proposal almost immediately, out of respect for you, squashing any hope of someone else helping him out of this situation. The same situation he got himself into with that big mouth of his.
The curse of being a lover boy…
"You still haven't messaged her?" Jihoon looks at Soonyoung in disbelief, Seungkwan shaking his head next to him. Seokmin is busy grilling their meat while listening intently.
"Must not want those earrings as bad as you claimed." Seungkwan comments, a snicker following from Seokmin after.
Soonyoung rolls his eyes, shoveling a piece of pork and rice in his mouth quickly. It had been five days since his conversation with Jihoon, meaning a week since he last saw you.
A full week of radio silence and Soonyoung feels like he's going off the rails. He wants nothing more than to see you, yearning to be with you again despite how you lashed out at him.
"I'm getting around to it." Soonyoung mumbles through a full mouth of food, causing Seokmin to laugh and shake his head.
"Go ahead and tell your grandmother you're sorry, because you're never seeing those again at this rate." Seungkwan teases, followed by hollers from the group simultaneously.
Soonyoung sighs, zeroing in on his plate. He knows his friends aren't really making fun of him, but encouraging him to make that leap of faith himself.
He bickers with the group more, promising to reach out to you after snatching a thick piece of pork belly from Jihoon— a satisfied look on the older friend's face.
When he gets back from dinner, he finds himself laying starfish-spread across his bed. His finger hovers over your text thread once again, opening the chat and staring at the last sent messages.

You: i'll be there in 10, need to see you.
stargirl ⭐️: ready and waiting for u cutie
You: you're the cutie

A week later, and Soonyoung has typed and deleted nearly twenty different messages to you. He wonders if you caught the typing bubble pop up, the three tiny dots giving away how much he was thinking about you.
He casts a glance to the time sprawled across his screen— 7:22pm. After dinner with his friends and their push for him to reach out, Soonyoung has a surge of confidence wash over him.
He finally is going to get out of his feelings and text you.
He takes a deep breath and hits the send button, throwing his phone across his bed with a yelp.
At the same time, you happen to be in a blanket cocoon on your couch, freshly finished with your takeout and watching reruns of Grey's Anatomy, when you hear the buzz of your phone. You glance at the lock screen, doing a double take upon a reveal of the sender.

tiger guy (allegedly)🐯: i realized i might've forgotten something at yours
tiger guy (allegedly)🐯: if it's cool with you can i swing by and get it real quick?
You instantly know what Soonyoung is referring to. After he left the week prior, you rolled around in your bed and yelped, finding a shiny stud poking into your back. You typically wear gold hoops, and know Soonyoung likes to keep a pair of diamond earrings in.
You take a shaky breath, staring down at the messages glowing on your screen. You had a week to replay the situation and reevaluate your feelings, now feeling awful for throwing Soonyoung out when he was vulnerable. You were vulnerable as well, unable to decipher your emotions in the moment and acted rash. You had to apologize soon before your relationship truly became unsalvageable.

You: hey soonie, i'm okay
You: and yeah that's fine lmk when you're otw
You don't have a chance to put your phone down before it buzzes again, Soonyoung responding instantly.
tiger guy (allegedly) 🐯: getting in the car rn
tiger guy (allegedly) 🐯: be there in 15
Your stomach churns at the thought of finally facing Soonyoung again, knowing the last time you saw each other you were being avoidant.
The fifteen minutes it takes for Soonyoung to reach your house feels like eternity. You fix up your hair quickly, brushing your teeth for extra measure. In the remaining minutes, you pace your bedroom, anxious of what Soonyoung may say. You're running through your rehearsed responses for the tenth time when you hear the high pitch ring of your doorbell.
A weak 'coming' escapes from your lips as you reach the door, unlocking it to find the very man who's plagued your mind for the past week staring down at you.
"Hi." You catch his eyes roaming over your figure, suddenly aware of the tiny heart patterned short and tank set you currently sported.
"Hi." You huff out, holding his intense gaze.
"I just came for the earrings, sorry for causing you any trouble-"
"You can come in, Soonyoung. If that's okay with you of course."
He's caught off guard, the expression on his face animated as that's the last thing he expected you to say.
"Are- are you sure?" He spoke your name softly, searching for any uncertainty behind your gaze.
You nod and step aside, allowing room for him to step inside. He follows suit, awkwardly waiting in the hallway, bouncing on the balls of his feet.
"I have your earrings right here," you motion to the glimmering pair on your entryway table. "However, I wanted to talk too."
He shifts at this, his bouncing coming to a halt as he stares, wide eyed, in anxious anticipation.
"Should I be scared?" He jokes. A small smile spreads across your face.
"No, I wanted to apologize actually. I was wrong to push you out in that instant, but I didn't even want to entertain the thought of feelings in that moment." You shift your eyes away from him, more interested in the fluffy slippers upon your feet.
"Don't worry. I knew what our agreement was, I shouldn't have been so hyped up in the moment and disregarded how you could've felt."
"Soonyoung, you never know how to not be hyped up." you both laugh, knowing how excited he gets over pretty much everything.
"But I still have to say, that I've thought long and hard the past week. I snapped on you because…" You take a long pause, slowly meeting his bright irises. "Because… I was afraid to admit that I had fallen for you as well." Your voice drags out no louder than a whisper, as every ounce of courage in you is used up to get your sentence out.
Soonyoung looks at you like he's on the top of the world, the wide grin on his lips spreading with every second.
"So, you're telling me you do like me?" He asks, his voice coming out in a sing-song tone at the end. You hum an acknowledgment as a playful smirk forms on your face.
"Who knew all it would take to get my girl back would be some diamond earrings!?" He hoots a laugh, earning a shake of your head and a giggle shortly after.
"Alright, fess up, which one of them convinced you to finally talk to me?" Your arms cross over your chest as Soonyoung's face shifts to one of confusion.
"Wha- What do you mean?" He scratches his neck, trying to play it cool.
"So, Jihoon or Seungkwan then. Or both actually!" He rolls his eyes, before he pulls you closer to him by your waist.
"You wouldn't believe me if I said I was the reason? Just me, and me alone?" Your arms drag up his chest, looping behind his neck as his palms splay along your hips.
"Well no… I know you too well. I know Seungkwan and Jihoon too, and I know they had some hand in this." You giggle watching his reactions. He is so expressive and it truly cracks you up every single time.
"Okay fine, they called me a pussy too many times I had to lock in finally." He sighs as you bust out into laughter, your shakes against his chest making him smile brightly down at you.
"But!" He starts dramatically, a finger raised to accentuate his point. "I, Kwon Soonyoung, took it upon myself to find my way back to you." He boasts, wiggling his eyebrows.
"Whatever you say, Kwon Soonyoung. Now, please kiss me you loser."
His lips were on yours not even a second after, moving with firey passion. He groans into your mouth, as if he forgot how much he loves kissing you. It only had been a week, but he missed the way you mold into him easily.
He leads you towards the door, pressing you hard against the frame as he ravished your mouth, an intense clash of teeth and tongue.
You feel your knees wobble as he brings your bottom lip between his teeth, sucking momentarily before he pulls away with a tug on the plump flesh.
"Missed you… So badly, you don't even know." Soonyoung manages to get out after breaking away from your lips, as he rests his forehead against yours. Your chests were rising rapidly, out of breath from the intensity Soonyoung loves to show with you.
"Missed you too Soonie.." You breathe out, running your fingers through his hair, freshly dyed black. His eyes close briefly, humming as he leans into your graze of his scalp.
Your insides go to mush under the affects of his reactions from every touch. He nuzzles up to your neck, breathing in your scent with an airy sigh.
"Tell me again how much you like me."
"Don't push it, Kwon."
He groans into your skin, tugging you closer to him as you feel the soft pound of his heart within his chest against your own.
"Please, baby." You stiffen at the name, something you hadn't heard outside of the bed from him. You pull him back from the confines of your neck, forcing him to look upon your form.
"Soonyoung, I like you. I want to be yours in every way."
His pupils dialate hearing your words, like something carnal inside of him awoke from your confession.
"Perfect… You're too perfect. Let me show you how much I want to be yours too." His voice drops an octave, a shiver running through your spine from his implications.
"I'm all yours."
He drags you by your hand towards your bedroom, a place he's seen hundreds of times before. The only difference, is that this time he enters as your lover, not just a situationship, or your weekly hookup.
Now that he fully has you, he never plans on letting go.

BLOCKBUSTER MASTERLIST/TAGLIST
If Hansol couldn't even handle getting a mouse out of the home, how could you marry your sister off to him?
"Well, Ana is a bit unconv-"
You cast a glance in their direction once again, finding Hansol's sharp eyes already on you. A chill ran over you as you avert your gaze, turning back to Joshua.
The intensity of his gaze alone had your stomach flipping, and your heart racing.
Perhaps if you were meaner to him, whatever attraction Joshua claimed was there would dissipate.
You were the wrong sister to choose, and he would have to see that.

For the entirety of Vernon and Seokmin's friendship, they have grown fond to sharing everything.
Whether it be a delicious drink, a jacket they both looked great in, hell— even their birthdays, they were never picky.
However, one thing the duo never expected to share?
Their years long crush on you, a dear and close friend of theirs.
Vernon has never been a competitive man. He simply had no desire for it unless it was truly necessary. His friend however, was the polar opposite when it came to that.
Despite this, Seokmin didn't feel a need to compete with Vernon. He could never come between his long-time friendship for a simple glance in his direction, or the soft smile of yours that plagued his thoughts.
The two couldn't feel a jealous bone in their body for the other— there simply was no need.
Even when it came to you and your affection, they didn't try to one up the other, despite how much the duo wanted you.
As another year began, the duo geared up for their joint birthday party, something that had become a tradition over a decade ago.
"Maybe this year we should do something chill? Can we really afford another hole in the wall?" Vernon questioned as he scrolled on his phone, tik tok showing him different themes for birthday parties.
On the floor next to him, Seokmin had his laptop opened up, a google spreadsheet and his perfectly curated pinterest board on standby.
"To be fair, Chan dared Soonyoung to do that flip…"
Vernon met Seokmin's gaze with an unamused expression, a single eyebrow raising.
"He's so lucky I was blacked out in the bathroom. If I had seen that in real time…" Vernon shaked his head at the memory of last year's party, Soonyoung drunk out of his mind and causing a scene.
"At least you had Y/N tending to you.." Vernon could hear the pout in Seokmin's tone, despite the older boy now facing away from him.
"Not like I remember anything. I can't look at soju ever again." He sighed, dragging a hand down his face.
The two had been bouncing ideas off each other for a party theme this year. After a decade of birthdays together, they had started to run out of ideas.
"Would it be crazy if I say… what if we don't throw a party this year?" Vernon suggested, watching the way Seokmin whipped around instantly.
"No way! 218's not throwing a party? Who would we be?" Seokmin waved his hands animatedly, clearly flabbergasted at entertaining the idea.
"Hear me out. We can do a big dinner, rent out a place and have all our friends show up. Those who want to do something after can just come by for some chill vibes." Vernon offered, casually shrugging his shoulders. Seokmin was in deep thought, weighing the option.
"I'm following…" Seokmin scratched his chin, thinking about the fatigue he always felt while planning the annual event.
"I don't know about you, Min, but I don't remember in the past four or five years not having to call a repairman, or go to Home Depot the next day to fix our place." They happened to have a large friend group— a group that tended to do stupid things when intoxicated.
"Right, no yeah that's a valid point, Vernon." Seokmin agreed, wincing at the thought of the hole last year and the quote the repairman had given them. He shared a look with Vernon and the two decided to cover it up with a painting instead— a cheaper route.
"Our ages are starting to sound a little too serious.. Maybe we should tone it back a bit."
"God, don't remind me please." Seokmin groaned as Vernon laughed behind him. "Okay fine, but dirty thirty we gotta do something big."
"Dirty thirty..? You know what, okay." Vernon scoffed, shaking his head as Seokmin shifted his focus to finding a good restaurant to book.
They settled on a fancy restaurant with a private dining room for big parties. Feeling satisfied with their choice, Seokmin finished up the final touches of the invite, ready to send to all their friends.
"You know who's going to be the most surprised there's no 218 party?" Seokmin turned to look at his friend, whose face shifted to one of confusion.
"No? Who?"
They both shared a look before it clicked for Vernon, the two men saying your name in sync.
"Of course, she's always been there to help us every time… I don't know, maybe she'll have something up her sleeve this year?"
"We are her 'favorite boys' after all." Seokmin smiled, reminiscing on the time you told the duo that.
"Stop being delusional." Vernon was thinking the same thing, but he would never voice it the way Seokmin did.
"Hansollie! You know how hard it is for me!" He buried his face in his hands, Vernon reaching down to lightly pat his head.
The two sent out their invites by the end of the night, the group chat liking the message and questions about the change, but respecting it.
You personally texted Vernon, wondering if only a dinner would be happening. He replied quickly, telling you to come over after for a 'lowkey hang out.'
You and Seungkwan were out for drinks when you got the invite, the two of you instantly agreeing to put your hands into planning the after party as Seungkwan had an extra key to their apartment from when he had to take care of Vernon's cat recently.
The two of you cooked up a plan, enlisting help from Chan and Minghao to keep the boys distracted for an hour after dinner. You and Seungkwan were to sneak off early, hastily decorating the place and gathering all of their close friends directly after dinner.
On the day of, you couldn't miss the puppy-like pout on Seokmin's face, and the wide-eyed, confused look across Vernon's as you announced yours and Seungkwan's early departure from dinner. You promised the birthday boys you would be at their place later, hugging them to reduce their distress.
You sped over to their apartment, you and Seungkwan working quick to bring the decorations together. A big silver '218' balloon was stationary against the plain wall in the living room, individual balloons littering the floor and streamers dangling from the ceiling. A large cake was placed on the kitten counter, small bowls of snacks staggered around it.
You took a step back, admiring the final product as Seungkwan finished setting up the bar area, plastic champagne glasses settled next to bottles of alcohol. He joined you, giving a loud high five as you both complimented each other's work.
The door bell rung, startling you as Seungkwan went over to open the door, peeking through the peep hole first. The door swung open to reveal Seungcheol, Joshua, Jihoon, Mingyu and Jun; the boys greeting the two of you cheerfully.
"Thank god you two are finished, Vernon's getting suspicious and told Minghao he wants to head home to finish straightening up before anyone's over. We rushed here and the other guys are close behind, but we got like five minutes max." Seungcheol states, setting his gift upon the counter by the bar.
You and Seungkwan shared a panicked look, ordering the boys to hide as you handed them party hats and horns. The doorbell buzzed one last time with Jeonghan, Soonyoung and Wonwoo rushing inside.
"They were pulling in at the same time as us! Everyone hide!" Jeonghan shared, grabbing a plastic party horn from you with a smile.
You got a text from Minghao at the same time, a simple: "Pulling up now, hope you're ready." You shoot him a quick thumbs up and grab your own blow horn, the plastic dangling from your lips.
Everyone got in their positions as you cut the lights, hiding behind the fridge as well as you could. A minute later, you recognized Seokmin's voice and Chan's laugh outside the door as the lock began to jiggle.
The door opened and their voices wafted in from the entryway. As soon as they stepped in, you hit the lights as everyone jumped out yelling "surprise!" in unison, blowing the plastic horns. Seokmin jumped, his hands flying over his mouth as Vernon took a second to blink before a wide grin spread across his face. Chan and Minghao were recording behind them with smiles on their own faces, capturing the special moment.
"No way! You guys didn't have to!" Seokmin's eyes cut across everyone's face before landing on you. You were smiling softly at the two, your hands clasped together.
"Was this you?" He said your name, taking a step closer with a playful gleam in his eye.
"Well, Seungkwan and I. Couldn't have done it without his spare key." You shrugged nonchalantly, playing it cool. He pulled you and Seungkwan into a hug with a laugh, Vernon coming behind to wrap his arms around the three of you. He pulled away, his eyes warm and glowing back down at you.
"Thank you, for always being there for us. You're so awesome." Your face heats up as Vernon reached over to ruffle your co-host's hair, Seokmin attached to his back with a tight grip.
You took in the sight, a calm smile on your lips as you watched your friends.
The rest of the night was filled with laughter as Chan proposed new drinking games every five minutes, with Seokmin and Seungkwan having a karaoke battle, dragging anyone they could along with them. Towards the end of the night, everyone stood around Seokmin and Vernon, singing happy birthday loudly to the boys who smiled back at their friends. You snapped a quick polaroid of the two, as you had been doing all night, their grins wide as they held their shared cake.
By the time everyone was saying goodbye and leaving, it was nearly three am, and everyone was still tipsy. You offered to help stay after and clean up, waving goodbye to Seungkwan as he waddled out, thanking you and swearing he was about to pass out.
As the door shut behind you, you turned back around and glanced at the birthday boys, spread out on their couch with a glossy look in their eyes. They hadn't bothered to move a muscle, their giggles and sluggish movements showing how intoxicated they were.
You weren't too far behind them as you tried to go toe to toe with Seungcheol, who kept challenging you to shots all night. You were planning on crashing on the boy's couch for the night, as you've done many times before.
You walk over to them and squeeze yourself between the pair, tossing their long limbs off to make room for yourself. You immediately feel Seokmin cozy up to your right side, while Vernon shifts his whole body to face towards you, his knee bumping into yours.
"We had so much fun, really. Seokmin and I can't thank you enough." Vernon started, a soft smile on his lips as he rested a hand across your knee. Next to you, Seokmin wrapped his arms around your waist, snuggling closer to you with a hum. You ran a hand through the older boy's hair as you smiled back at Vernon, nudging him with your other elbow.
"I'd do anything when it comes to you two, seriously." You stated, like it was the most obvious thing in the world.
Vernon felt his heartbeat race from your words, swallowing hard as his mind wandered. Seokmin, on the other side of you, whined out before he spoke, "And we'd do anything for you, cutie."
You giggled at that, loving the attention in your drunken state. Vernon reached to twist a strand of your hair, his gaze fleeting across your face as you looked back, wide eyed.
"You have no idea how much you mean to us." His voice came out softly, with Seokmin humming in agreement next to you.
"You guys mean so much to me, it goes both ways here." You hummed as Seokmin's breath fanned against your neck and Vernon's palm moved to rest against your cheek.
"No it's not the same, you're our entire world. We would- we would do anything to make you ours." He breathed your name out after, the hand cupping your cheek suddenly feeling warmer. Your stomach flipped at his words, catching the heavy implication behind them. You didn't know whether it was the alcohol pumping in your systems, or the sudden intimate atmosphere that caused the confession, but your mind spun trying to figure it out.
"I thought it was obvious after all these years how much we love you?" Seokmin mumbled into your shoulder, loud enough for the two of you to catch him still.
"I mean, I know that you guys love me-"
"He meant to say we are in love with you." Vernon cut in, catching you off guard.
Your mouth dropped open as you whipped your head to look back and forth between the two boys. You had never seen both of them so open before. Seokmin tended to become shy when it came to his own emotions, and Vernon typically remained quiet.
"Both of you?" You questioned, turning to Seokmin this time, who finally had removed his head from the crook of your neck. He nodded once, a faint smile on his lips.
You huffed out a laugh as it felt ridiculous for even one of them to harbor feelings for you, better yet both of them.
"You two share everything in your lives, your birthday's, apartment, food, clothes. You're telling me you're so connected, you have a crush on the same girl too?" You were feeling delirious, suddenly hyper aware of how close they were.
"Yeah, we don't mind though." Vernon said casually with a shrug.
You didn't know what to say as your mind raced. Two of your closest friends were in love with you and they didn't mind the other male having feelings as well. Their gazes on you felt heavy now as they examined you carefully.
"Would it be crazy to say I'm kinda… into this?" You picked at your nails, unable to meet either of them in the eye. Vernon's hand lingering on your knee squeezed harder as Seokmin began trailing his finger along your forearm.
"No, not at all," Seokmin started, "Would it be crazier to say we've thought about this for a while?"
You turned to meet his gaze, his look only describe-able as quiet lust, his tongue quickly darting out to lick his lips. You shifted to Vernon, his face nearly expressionless other than the clear twinkle in his eye, a hint of a smirk upon his lips.
"No, not at all." You finally breathed out, watching Vernon's face change like a switch flipped. His pupils were blown wide, his gaze falling upon your lips before traveling back up towards your eyes.
"Can I?" He asked softly, his grip on your knee staying strong as you squeak out an airy 'yes.'
He wasted no time, leaning down to capture your lips against his own, groaning against you once he finally does. Beside you, you felt Seokmin's hand plant itself along your thigh, gently squeezing the flesh there. You registered the quiet whimper to leave Seokmin upon the sight of you and Vernon as he patiently waited, caressing you delicately.
Vernon had waited for this day for years, and was going to show it. He kissed you with a ferocity you never expected the calm man to have, sucking on your bottom lip as you shivered against him.
When he finally pulled away, you were in a daze, lips slightly parted as he ran his thumb along your lip. The smirk on his lips was undeniable as he tilted his head to his friend beside you.
"Hyung, you've been so patient." His words caught your attention as you turned towards Seokmin, who gazed at you wide eyed.
You decided to take matters into your own hands, cupping your hand on his soft cheek as you brought your lips down onto his own. Seokmin took a second for his brain to catch up, finally moving his lips in tandem with yours, his large palm sliding farther up your thigh.
Your kiss with Seokmin felt different than Vernon's as you were guiding this more than him. You broke away momentarily, your lungs searching for air, before Seokmin pulled you back towards him. He was eager, all tongue and teeth clashing with unmasked hunger.
His years of pent up tension finally was coming to a head as his other hand made purchase within your hair, keeping you in place as he devoured you whole.
You were on cloud nine, deeply enjoying the attention from the duo that you had never expected to happen. You were focused on Seokmin, feeling the ends of his hair prickle against your face, his tongue fighting against your own as your every thought was just him.
Until you felt the couch shift behind you, Vernon's presence becoming aware again as his rough palm dragged along your body, a gentle reminder he was there as well.
You detached from Seokmin, both of your chests heaving from the intense make out that left your core tingling. His stare was intense, like he was preparing to dive right back into you.
"That was so hot." Vernon delivered monotonously, though his eyes showed another message. The way he shifted in his sweatpants, he was embarrassingly hard from the scene that had unfolded in front of him. Seokmin was no better, his dick twitching painfully in his pants, still reeling from the affects you had on him.
You looked back and forth between the two while they stared at you, wondering what the next step was going to be. You couldn't fight the smirk that formed on your lips as you hopped off the couch, looking down at the males.
"We should move somewhere more.. comfortable." You suggested, tilting your head as the two shared a brief glance. They were on their feet seconds later, ready to follow you wherever you wanted. You slipped a hand into both boy's grip, motioning with your head for Seokmin to lead the way. He smiled sheepishly before dragging you down the hallway towards his bedroom. He had the bigger bed of the two anyways, might as well put it to use.
By the time Vernon had closed the door behind him, your lips were on Seokmin's again, urging him to lead you to the bed. Still connected, he gently pushed you down, climbing on top. His mouth moved feverishly, and you were pleasantly surprised to feel him pushing against you, his hard length prodding your inner thigh. The bed next to you dipped, signaling Vernon joining you, his body heat radiating close to you.
Seokmin pulled away to trail kisses down your neck, earning a groan from you as Vernon brushed your hair out of the way.
"You're stunning, so perfect for us. Isn't she so perfect, Hansol?" Seokmin was busy shifting you up, urging you to lift your arms as him and Vernon worked your top over your head. Vernon let out a hum, agreeing softly as Seokmin's jaw went slack, not expecting you to be bare under the dressy top. Vernon scooted you close to his back, and his large palms found a home squeezing your breasts as you threw your head back onto his shoulder with a moan.
"Sound so pretty hmm?" Seokmin muttered —almost to himself— as he slid your skirt and underwear down swiftly. His hands were blazing as he slowly spread you open for him, groaning at the sight of your slick folds.
Your body was turning to mush as Vernon continued his assault on your boobs, pinching the sensitive nipples there. His mouth was close to your ear as he whispered praises — you were absolutely losing your mind. Seokmin's breath fanned right above your center as you whined out, desperate to have him where you desired most.
"Are you going to be our birthday gift?" Seokmin asked, gazing up at you with a smug look from in between your legs.
The implications behind his question had you clenching around nothing, watching how he glared up at you from your thighs. You nodded your head frantically, nearly pushing your hips up if not for his hand mounting you to the bed.
"Yes, yes, anything for you, Minnie. Unwrap me however you want." You were so clouded with desire, babbling anything to be touched. You probably would've cringed at your own words, but you were too far gone now to care.
Vernon's chest rumbled behind you with a chuckle as you cried out loudly from Seokmin finally sinking down on you, licking a stripe along your clit.
"Poor thing, you're so far gone already." Vernon's words barely registered as you gripped Seokmin's hair, bucking your hips against his face.
You were already close, worked up from the two already. You had never done anything like this before, and it was turning you on. This was clear from how you leaked all over Seokmin's face, who was groaning below you. His tongue was alternating from your leaking hole and your swollen clit, flicking the muscle along your perfectly.
He continued to work you with his mouth, before slowly pushing a long finger inside of you to curl into that spongy spot. You were gushing all over him, your cries getting swallowed with Vernon's mouth, who eagerly kissed you. His hands roamed all along your upper half, caressing you gently. His hands were a contrast to his mouth that worked to leave you trembling in his hold.
You felt the build up in your lower belly, the familiar sensation of your orgasm approaching. Seokmin's slurping was obscenely filling the room, his wide eyes glowing up at you for approval.
You couldn't keep your eyes open as you were filled with overwhelming pleasure, Seokmin's plush tongue causing your downfall.
He picked up his pace, pumping two long fingers in you as he swirled his tongue around your clit. You threw your head back on Vernon, who had detached from you again, moaning that you were about to come.
"There you go, come for us." His deep voice in your ear pushed you over the edge with a sharp cry. Your climax hit like a truck as you trashed around in his arms, Seokmin's strong grip on your hip keeping you in place while he helped you ride out your high.
You eventually floated back down to earth, your limbs feeling like jelly as Seokmin pulled away from you, his smile wide. He cleaned his face, licking up the traces of you left behind, humming in approval.
"I've thought about that for so long now, god, you taste better than I imagined." He sighed out, sucking his finger with a lazy grin. You watched breathlessly, a matching expression as you admired him. Behind you, Vernon began shifting, his hard length poking against your back with a groan.
"Hansol, why don't you show her what she does to you?" Seokmin grinned, moving to switch spots with his friend.
Vernon came into your line of vision now, smiling softly down at you. He leaned down to press a kiss on your lips once again, clearly unable to get enough of you.
"Are you ready for me?" He asked sweetly, grazing his fingers along your stomach.
"Please, Nonie. I want you so bad." You whined, reaching for the waistband of his sweatpants. He clicked his tongue, stepping back to pull them down himself.
"So eager." He chuckled, as you stared, glossy eyed at his long, hard cock. Your mouth watered at the sight, already excited to feel him.
The bed dipped as he settled on the edge, tapping your thighs. "Go ahead and turn around, babe."
You couldn't help the airy laugh from leaving you as you flipped over, positioning yourself with your back arched towards him. "Had a feeling you were an ass man." You joked.
It was Vernon's turn to laugh while he lined himself up, trailing his hands along your ass.
"Hey, I won't deny that I know what I like." The three of you laugh at him as he kneaded the plump flesh behind you.
You casted a glance up at Seokmin, who already had his cock out, lightly stroking himself. You smiled up at him and reached for the length, wrapping your hand around him as he closed his eyes, groaning.
You felt Vernon's cock rubbing along your folds as he gathered the slick there. Moaning, you pushed back at him, eager to feel him inside of you. You were about to tell him hurry up when he finally pushed into your leaking cunt, knocking the wind out of you. Your movements on Seokmin's length halted as you struggled to take Vernon's full length, clenching around him as he bottomed out.
He paused momentarily, closing his eyes as you throbbed painfully around him. He was about to explode, and was fighting from nutting in 30 seconds.
Seokmin watched from above you, sliding a hand through your hair to get the strands out of your eyes. You started slowly moving your hips, desperate for friction before Vernon's hand came down on your ass with a yelp; the smack stinging more than you expected.
"Stop that, be patient." He huffed, keeping you torturously still. You whined out again, squeezing around him hard, making him moan loudly, his hips stuttering slightly.
"Take him in your mouth." He spoke lowly, causing you to glance back at him.
"Are you bossing me around?" You teased, clenching down on his sensitive cock once more. You were met with a smack on your ass again, jolting you into Seokmin from the impact.
"You're being a brat now. Seokmin, keep her quiet." You could hear the tease in his voice as you opened your mouth to protest. You were cut short from the first rough snap of Vernon's hips, his cock dragging along your walls perfectly.
You shook as Vernon started pounding into you, your ass clapping against him with every thrust. Your moans filled the room as you cried out, gripping anything around you to keep yourself steady. His length was almost too much for you as you felt the tears prickle in your eyes.
His shaky breaths and the wet sounds of your pussy taking him were all you could hear before you felt the bed shift and Seokmin moved closer towards you. His cock caught your full attention, ready for your mouth as you grab at his base, taking a kitten lick.
Seokmin moaned, his body twitching as his tip tapped against your lips. You took him fully into your mouth, both of you moaning from the action.
You felt completely consumed by both of the guys, your every thought filled with Seokmin and Vernon.
You did your best to keep both satisfied as you swirled your tongue along the head of Seokmin's cock, his hips jerking with every lewd noise and action made. You tried meeting Vernon's thrusts, throwing your ass back on him as he kept a steady pace behind you.
"Look at you, being split open by both of us like you were made for us." Seokmin mumbled, his eyes closed and fighting from ramming his cock in your month as you gargled around his thickness.
Vernon was setting a ruthless pace, your cunt squelching with each thrust while you were a babbling mess under him. He pressed down on your back more, making you arch into him and creating a better angle.
Seokmin's hands made purchase within your hair, gently guiding you down his length as you bobbed your head, his every groan like music to your ears.
"S-shit…I'm so close." He grumbled above you as you gave a choked out acknowledgment, working to get him to his peak quickly. You nearly screamed when you felt Vernon reach behind you, rubbing his pointer finger along your clit as you clenched harder on him, a deep groan ripping from his mouth.
"Fuck, I'll come if you keep squeezing me like that." He breathed out. His finger swirling your clit combined with the rough snap of his hips had you squeezing him again, causing his hips to stutter.
Seokmin was moaning above you, his mouth hanging open as you did your best to focus on the head, despite the intense pleasure you were feeling from all sides. He guided you down his cock as you hollowed your cheeks out, pools of saliva spilling out your mouth and all down his length. It was so messy, and Seokmin was right at the edge because of it.
His thighs began to shake as his drags got sloppy. He moaned out, giving a final thrust into your mouth before he came, thick hot ropes down your throat. He pulled back just enough to not choke you, but you continued to suck him, gathering every last drop while he shook above you. His hand detached from your hair after a moment, allowing you to slide off him with a wet pop.
"Holy… that was so insane." He spoke your name softly as he settled next to you, stroking your face as your moans were at full volume now that Seokmin was out of your mouth.
Vernon was not too far behind, desperate to get you to cum so he could as well. You were shaking under him, his strong grip on your hips unwavering as Seokmin snaked his hand under you, tweaking with your clit.
You were so overwhelmed with the feeling of them, you didn't even notice how close your climax was.
"Nonie, I.." You barely could choke out before your peak hit you suddenly. You cried out his name, spasming under him as your vision blacked out momentarily. You were gushing around him and squeezing so tightly, he knew he had mere seconds before he was cumming.
"Shit, I'm right there." He moaned out, his hips snapping roughly as he watched the view of his cock disappearing between your cunt and your ass slapping against him.
"Nonie, don't pull out." You mumbled weakly while Seokmin pinched your nipples as you whined out, still sensitive.
Your words sent him over the edge as he buried his cock deep one last time before he spilled inside of you, your name flying off his tongue like a prayer.
You stayed like that for a while, the heavy breathing from everyone filling the room. Vernon eventually pulled his softening cock out of you, watching the way his cum slid out and down your thighs. He suffered at the sight, motioning for Seokmin to peek as well. The two watched in awe for a moment, Seokmin's dick nearly jumping to life again at the thought of fucking you right after Vernon.
"I know what you're both thinking, perverts." You mumbled, teasingly as the two laughed at you. Vernon moved to get everyone cleaned up while Seokmin flopped back down on the bed, cuddling up into your side.
"We really mean it when we say you're our everything, you know?" Seokmin nuzzled into your neck, softly running his hand down the side of your body. You hummed in acknowledgment, too tired to truly think about the repercussions of what just occurred.
Vernon came back with two warm cloths, dragging one along your body where the two had marked you up, gently cleaning you. Once he finished, the grabbed the second one and worked it along Seokmin's body, the two sharing eye contact throughout the intimate moment. You were unable to tear your gaze away as Vernon's hand sprawled across Seokmin's stomach, wiping his soiled cock gently, Seokmin's eyes fluttering shut momentarily. They swapped roles, Seokmin flipping the towel before he cleaned Vernon up, repeating the actions the younger male did before. He turned his palm over, kissing along the back of Vernon's hand as he finished cleaning him up. The two eventually settled between you, tangling themselves up within you. You had some questions about what you just saw, but it would have to wait till the morning. Your brain was fried in the post-orgasm bliss, not processing anything fully.
"So, do you think you could be our gift again?" Vernon questioned from your left.
"As in, every year?" Seokmin finished, his eyes glowing back at you.
You couldn't help the giggle from escaping as you laid between them, your tiredness leaving you delirious. You would have to contemplate it more, and discuss what they truly meant when everyone was in a more sober-like headspace.

no beta so the surprise wasn’t ruined hehe we die like men here
February 1st
A small card resided on your bedside table, one that wasn't there when you went to bed last night. You turned it over, reading the handwritten message left inside.
Have a wonderful day dear, I'm always rooting for you. I love you.
S
You flipped the card over and smiled, getting up to prepare for the day with Seungcheol's simple words on your mind.
February 3rd
You woke up in a panic, as you had overslept your alarm by 20 minutes. Seungcheol helped you pack your bag while you hurried to shower and get ready.
Leaving out of your shared bedroom, you grabbed your bag and were planning on getting coffee delivered once you got to the office. Seungcheol was standing in the kitchen, a lazy grin on his face and a cup of coffee from your favorite cafe in his hand.
"Baby, when did you have time to get this?" You questioned, stepping closer to him with a head tilt.
"I ordered it for when you're usually awake. It might've got just a little bit watered down.." He scratched the back of his neck. You gently took the cup, standing on your toes to plant a kiss on his lips. You felt him smile against your lips, kissing back softly. He eventually pulled you away with a sigh, cupping your face.
"You're welcome. Now go, before you're actually late." He smiled at you as you grinned back, taking a sip and promising to call him later.
February 6th
You were on facetime with Seungcheol while you cooked dinner, his studio lights glistening in the background. A particular manager at work had you furious, and it was only right to call your boyfriend to rant about it.
"I mean, the woman's only been here four months and doesn't even know what she's doing. How she got a management role is beyond me." You grumbled as you grinded pepper over the dish.
"From everything I've heard, she seems like a disaster. Why couldn't they give the role to someone like you?" His thick eyebrows furrowed as he leaned closer into the frame.
"Well I was trying to be humble, Cheol." You sighed, growing more frustrated with the situation. Your hands rested on your hips with a pout on your lips and Seungcheol couldn't help but think how cute you looked when you're mad.
"What? You're way more deserving than her." You watched him shift, getting off his chair and picking up the phone. "Keep your head up dear, it's going to be alright. I'm leaving the studio now, do you need me to get anything?"
You shook your head, unsure if he even caught it through the screen. "No, just bring yourself and come home. That's all I need right now."
Before you knew it, your door opened and Seungcheol was standing in the foyer, a bottle of your favorite wine in his hands and a soft smile on his face. He kissed you gently, and reminded you that you're perfect, and a job title does not define you.
February 9th
"Cheol, what is this?" You called from the kitchen, looking at the two tickets on the counter. You watched him appear from the bathroom, sweats low on his waist and his toothbrush dangling from his mouth.
"Ah, it's for us to do today. We hardly both have Saturday off so I thought we should go to the aquarium. I know how much you love the dolphins." His words were slightly garbled from the toothbrush and you couldn't help but throw your arms around him.
"Thank you, I'm so excited!" You giggled, feeling his chest vibrate from the chuckle he gave in return.
"Always, my love. We don't have to be there till 1 so let's take our time this morning." You grinned up at him, still wrapped around his waist.
"Sounds perfect. Are you going to touch the stingrays this time?" You felt him stiffen and shake his head comedically.
"No no no, those things are terrifying!"
"No they're not! They're so cute!" He shook his head aggressively once again, making you throw your head back in laughter.
"No, absolutely not."
February 10th
The bags weighing your arm down were getting heavy as you trudged through the mall. Seungcheol simply reached down, sliding them off your arm and onto his. He already was carrying a few bags in his left hand, and took on the weight of your remaining bags as well.
He had treated you to a nice brunch, a few bottomless mimosas ordered, and offered to give you his card for a shopping spree. You stared at him like he was crazy as he pushed the heavy silver card into your hands.
"Cheollie I can't-"
"Go crazy. Actually… not too crazy, I don't want the bank calling me for fraud." You both laughed at him as you linked your arm around his, ready to swipe his card just a few times…
You couldn't help it when you saw a pair of Gentle Monster glasses you've been dying to get, and when you found a pair of Levi's jeans that fit so perfectly, or the bracelet Seungcheol insisted you bought.
You had to cut him off from spending more on you, as you swore you had already spent way too much.
"For you? It's never too much."
February 11th
After being away from your family for a few months, you were starting to feel homesick. You communicated with them frequently, but you lived too far to see them as often. Seungcheol knew this, and wanted a way to bring you closer to them again.
When you saw the flight itinerary in your email you were confused, immediately texting him.
Within seconds, his name scrolled across your screen, calling in response to your text. You picked up and are instantly greeted with his slowly spreading smile.
"Good morning my dear, are you doing okay?"
"Morning, Cheollie. Can you tell me why I just got a flight itinerary in my email? Specifically for a flight back home?" Your eyebrows shot up as the grin on his face remained.
"Should be as straightforward as it seems. I know how much you've been missing your family. So, I got you a flight home for next month." He shrugged as if it was the most casual thing he's ever said. Your jaw remained dropped, staring back at him in disbelief.
"I-I can't believe you did this for me… I can't even begin to express how grateful I am." You blinked back tears, watching as your boyfriend looked back in adoration.
"Family is important, I know how important they are to you. I want you to be happy, always." You huffed out a laugh, wiping your eyes generously.
"Are you going to come too baby?" You tilted your head with the question. Seungcheol simply shook his head in response.
"No, you should spend that time alone with them. I'll come the next time, since your mom loves me." He teased at the end, earning an eye roll from you.
"Yeah yeah, whatever." You giggled as he smiled back, his bright grin infatuating.
"I love you." He spoke your name with delicacy, his eyes fond as he stared back.
"I love you more, Cheol."
February 12th
You accompanied Seungcheol to the gym, taking 30 minutes to do cardio yourself before walking over and joining him at the weights.
"Are we trying for a new PR?" You joked, watching the way he stacked up the 25 pound weights on both sides. He glanced up with a smile and shook his head.
"I gotta stay big and strong so I can always carry you like the princess you are." He winked, making you briefly turn away before the heat crept up your face.
"Quit messing with me Cheollie."
"And why would I do that?"
"Just be quiet and do your sets." You made him laugh as he laid down and began bench pressing. You watched him as a spot and chatted, though he was mostly focused on keeping his form.
As you headed out, hip to hip, Seungcheol couldn't stop the smile on his face as you rambled on. He loved quality time with you, even if it was doing your own seperate work outs, and coming together at the end. He opened the car door for you— always a gentleman— before running around and hopping in his own seat.
"Thanks for coming with me. I know you despise the concept of working out, but I'm glad you came." He turned to you, leaning over the console to get close. You did hate gyms and working out, but did it to stay healthy, and because Seungcheol would get on your case.
"Of course. I mean, who else is gonna keep me in check but you?" You leaned over, pressing a quick peck to his lips. He smiled back, nearly in a daze as he leaned over to press another kiss on your lips again.
"Cheol, let's go home." The look in your eyes was all he had to see before putting the car in reverse.
"Ah, I forget how worked up you get after the gym."
"It's all the pheromones…". You both laughed as his hand rested on your thigh.
February 13th
You hadn't discussed plans for Valentine's yet with Seungcheol, unsure if he would have to work or not. Usually he could find a way to spend time with you, but with his busy schedule it was never guaranteed .
Seungcheol had to go into the company early in the morning, earlier than you had to wake up for work. You woke up and stretched, reaching across the bed despite already knowing Seungcheol was gone. His spot still had a slight warmth to it, showing he hadn't gotten up too long ago. You sighed, pulling yourself out of the comforter cocoon, groaning as you got up for the day.
Rubbing the sleep out your eyes while you walked to the kitchen, you stopped dead in your tracks at the sight on the counter.
A vase full of tiger lilies— your favorite flower— stood brightly on the countertop. The different colored flowers smelled and looked amazing. You casted your glance down spotting the small notecard and a box of your favorite sweets. You smiled, reaching for the notecard to read.
Good morning baby,
Sorry I had to go into work earlier than expected. Wanted to see your face when you woke up. Hope you enjoy two of your favorites. I love you, I'll see you later.
The grin on your face was wide as you shook your head. "Choi Seungcheol, the man you are." You muttered to yourself, holding the notecard to your chest.
February 14th
Your eyes fluttered open to an array of kisses tingling your cheekbones. Peeking down, Seungcheol was busy worshipping you, leaving kisses all along your face.
"Good morning baby, Happy Valentine's." His sleep riddled voice reverberated near your ear, sending a chill through your body. You wrapped your arms around him, tugging him closer to you.
"Happy Valentine's Day, my love." You breathed in his scent, exhaling softly as he buried his head in the crook of your neck.
"Can we just lay here all day?" His voice came out muffled against your skin, making you giggle from the tickle it caused.
"Considering today's a Saturday, I wouldn't be opposed." You spoke, running your hands through his hair. His strong form was wrapped around you, keeping you close to his chest. He hummed an agreement, kissing your neck once again.
"Lets sleep in for once. Just lay here with me."
You were weak when it came to your boyfriend and gave in with no question.
"Okay."
The two of you slept till a little past noon, taking your time to get up. Everytime you suggested rising, Seungcheol would grumble, going '5 more minutes,' and those 5 would turn into another 45. You eventually convinced him to get up, opting to cook a nice brunch for the two of you.
"I already made plans tonight for us, before you even ask." He stated as two of you ate the crispy bacon you fixed.
"Oh?" Your eyebrows shot up. "I should've known, you're a man with many plans." He smiled back at you, shrugging casually.
"Our reservation's at seven. Hopefully that's enough time for you to get ready." You could hear the amusement oozing through his tone, granting a side glance from you.
"You really think it's going to take me six hours to get ready..?"
"Well… When we were in Italy-"
"Oh my god, don't even bring that up!" You smacked his arm as he erupted with laughter, remembering how you had taken newly four hours start to finish to get ready to go out. To be fair, you did get burnt that day and were working around that…
"You try getting ready when your skin feels like a toasted lobster!"
"Thank god we're not eating lobster tonight." He joked.
"You're so insufferable."
"Yeah, and you love me for it." You rolled your eyes at him knowing deep down, you really did enjoy it.
By the time you got close to the reservation, you were running around looking for your most comfortable pair of heels. You swore you had seen them recently, as you wore them to work not even two weeks prior.
"Would these be the heels in question?" Seungcheol asked, the pair of black kittens dangling from his fingertips.
"They would be, actually." You gently take them from him, feeling his intense gaze burn down at you.
"Glad I could be of service." The quirk of his lips was unmistakable, watching you carefully as you slipped the shoes on. "You look beautiful my dear."
You glanced up at him, your face getting warm at his compliment. All the years you've been together and his comments still made you fluster.
"Thank you, Cheollie. You look stunning yourself." You smirked back, reaching for his hand. "Now let's go, I can't have you blaming me for being late."
He laughed heartily at you, opening the door and allowing you to step out.
You were in awe at the restaurant— one of the finest in the city— swatting at Seungcheol for even thinking about spending so much on you. He brushed you off with a simple, "only the best for my baby."
After sitting through the four rounds of fine dining courses and wine tasting, you smiled contentedly as Seungcheol fed you a bite of the final dessert course.
"I could kiss you for this, Cheollie." A single eyebrow quirked up as he smirked back at you.
"What are you waiting for then?"
You leaned forward a bit, meeting Seuncheol with a quick peck. You could taste the remnants of the dessert you were eating, staring back lovingly at your boyfriend.
"Thank you for treating me tonight. I never ask for much yet you always know just how to take care of me." You looked into his eyes, glowing with adoration.
"Always. It's not even a question or a moment of hesitation, you deserve only the best." Your heart fluttered at his words, grateful you were loved properly by such a caring man. You joked about splitting the bill when the check came, earning a side glare from Seungcheol as he slipped his card in.
As you exited the restaurant hand in hand, you thanked the valet driver who opened your door for you. Seungcheol took the keys with a nod of gratitude, quickly pulling off. You quietly sang along to the music softly coming through the speakers as you watched the city pass by. When Seungcheol drove past the exit you would usually take to get home, you turned to him with an eyebrow raised.
"Did you mean to miss the exit we take everyday?"
"I have another surprise planned for you." His lip twitched as he fought off the smirk from making an appearance. You hummed, trying to decipher what his next surprise could be.
When you pulled up to the expensive looking five-star hotel, your eyes nearly popped out of your skull.
"What are we doing here?" You glared at him, wide eyed.
"Staying the night of course?" He turned to you, his smirk finally showing.
"I didn't even bring anything, I need my skincare, my pajamas, my charger-"
"Don't even worry about that," He waved a hand around. "Already have a bag packed. While you were on that chase for your shoes, I was packing an overnight bag for you."
"Even my toner?"
"Yes, dear, even your seven step skin routine." He laughed while you stared at him in shock.
You were feeling so many emotions at once, tears threatening to spill out. Not once in your life have you had anyone take care of you this well. You were emotional, knowing how well planned out Seungcheol was. If you weren't sure if soulmates were real, you had zero doubts now. Yours was sitting next to you, smiling at you lovingly.
"I've never been treated so well before, Cheol. I just… I can't thank you enough." You felt the single tear slip down your cheek, Seungcheol wasting no time to reach over, wiping the salty trail away.
"I love you so, so much, I never want you to feel uncared for." His voice came out quiet while he stared into your glossy eyes.
"I love you more than you could even fathom, Seungcheol." You leaned into his hand cupping your face, closing your eyes as you soaked up the moment. He turned your hand over, planting a delicate kiss along the back of it.
"Let's go check into our place for the night baby."
You were bouncing on your heels the whole time he talked to the front desk concierge and as you stood in the elevator, going straight up to one of the highest floors.
Nothing could've prepared you for the sight once he swung the door open to your suite, instantly welcoming the stunning view. Your jaw dropped as you walked in, the room looking pristine, but the real beauty was what you saw outside. The skyline was glowing in front of your eyes, the bright lights of Seoul stretching out for miles. There was a large infinity pool that overlooked the area, catching your attention immediately.
"You know how insane you are for this?" You turned to Seungcheol, who was grinning at your joy.
"It's the least I could do, my love." He winked, earning a giggle from yourself. You opened the door to the balcony, stepping down and taking in the fresh night air. "Oh, and the pool is heated!" He exclaimed behind you.
"Hey Cheol?" You turned back to him. His thick eyebrows went up, anticipating where you were going next. "You know what's something I've always wanted to do?" You tilted your head.
"What is it?" He questioned.
The smirk forming on your face was dangerous. You tilt your head towards the pool, dropping your phone onto one of the patio chairs before you felt a surge of adrenaline rush in. You took off, jumping into the pool without hesitation. When you came back up to the surface, pushing your hair out of your face with a laugh, Seungcheol was staring down and laughing uncontrollably at you.
"You're crazy!"
"Come join me!"
Mere seconds later he was unclasping his expensive watch and slipping his phone out his pocket to put them next to your stuff. He jumped in right after, granting a loud laugh from you. He reappeared, grinning widely as he swam close towards you.
"Hey." He reached you, his hand wrapping around your waist.
"Hi." You huffed out, catching the way the water droplets clung to his long lashes.
"You make me feel so… alive." Seungcheol states, his gaze on you like he was looking at his whole world.
"You do too, Cheol. I couldn't be happier than what I am right now." You grinned up at him, brushing stray droplets off his face. You look down, feeling both of your clothes fanning out around you, rippling underneath the water.
Pushing up on your toes, you planted a kiss on his lips, Seungcheol instantly responding. He kissed back gently, his grip staying firm on your waist as you wrapped your arms around his neck. The two of you stayed like that for a while, his lips ravishing your own. Despite being in a heated pool, a shiver ran down your spine, only prompted from the feeling of Seungcheol against you. You pulled away eventually, both of your chests rising quickly from the intensity of the kiss.
"Baby, let's stay here for a while."
"Of course, my love." Seungcheol responded, keeping his arms wrapped tight around you.
Staring out at the skyline, you couldn't help the content smile from forming, knowing there was no place you would rather be than here. Seungcheol always showed— and told you— how much he loved you, but sometimes his grand gestures were a nice reminder for you. You hoped the universe would never seperate you, as the man you loved had given you everything you could ask for, and then some more.
