Lazy Mornings.
Sometimes I think about Tholme and Cin taking a lazy morning in. Cin taking in the morning light while observing Tholme fast asleep next to him. Or similarly with Tholme stroking his hair absently as he faces away from him. Even when working, Cin would thread his fingers through the taller man’s black hair as he laid curled at his side snoring softly.
Sometimes I think about Kit gently holding Plo next to him, stroking his back or tracing his bandages from still healing from a mission which he believed, but wasn’t completely certain. Though Plo would still curl up next to him, purring softly as he nestled under his chin. Plo would mumble later they would run late when he woke up, and he in response would say it was fine. Then there are the lazy mornings for when Plo works or reads in bed while absently stroking Kit’s tresses gently, as he snuggles up next to the elder Jedi Master, his pheromones emitting a sense of content and peace around them.
Then there was Eeth, who holds Mace close whenever he tries to get up, nuzzling him. He would tell him it can wait and to go back to sleep. Mace would huff and go nestles himself close to him, slowly dozing off. When Mace wakes up later, he seems more refreshed than on most days.
Crèche Masters over the years would smile happily upon finding the Younglings in piles with each other, fast asleep late in the morning. The older and taller ones surrounding the outside in protective huddle, as the younger and smaller children remained in the centre, warm with some clutching each other closely without letting go. On these days, Crèche Masters would get large, warm blankets and gently wrap them up. The children would give happy and content noises while burrowing themselves deeper.
Deep within the Temple, the elder members of the Guard come down back from evening patrol to find the younger members of the Guard piles together in a corner as they were unable to make it to their quarters when they returned from patrol. The elders would sigh and gently ruffle their hair as they await they start another day.
For those who don’t partake in resting, Jedi such as Shaak finds herself checking in with the terrarium within the Temple, the animal knead their heads at her happily. Elsewhere Saesee finds himself working at his work bench quietly, as sunlight pours into the room.
Elder Masters can be found outside in the gardens taking in the warm lightly while discussing the happenings within the Temple.
Lazy mornings prove to be a slow point for some as they ease themselves into the day.
