I super miss playing as my little cinnamon roll halfling Druid, Maegwen 🥺💕 The campaign fell apart several years ago now but I still think about her sometimes… She was truly the light of the party. And she’s so adorable and fun to draw!

Just a little magical girl Maegwen I drew a few days ago during a group draw with some friends. :)
I made a sticker for my DnD party! My character is the tiny blonde baby down in front, haha. The edgy goirl on the right belongs to @lovelylilkitten , upset toll boi on the left to @lovelylilpup , and the red alladin belongs to @nukealyptus , and the one in the back is our DM, @mayfu-was-taken ! :)
Thank you for writing your post on grieving for "fictional" characters. I truly feel as if a loved one died, and am still crying off and on. It does feel weird trying to explain to anyone outside of fandom how absolutely devastating this is. Your post was really wonderful and helpful.
I'm glad it brought you some comfort. I've been near tears this entire day (I almost wish I had started sobbing; it's been like a boulder in my chest and I want it out), and I don't see it stopping any time soon... all you can do is what you can to get through it.

Maegwen studies you for a long moment, no trace of emotion on her face. She seems to have perhaps not heard you, but she continues to gaze in your direction, so surely she must have.
Another moment passes, and a ghost of a smile crosses her lips. Slowly, she holds both arms open toward you.
