Wild Right Ass Theory - Itt knows Rit is a LIAR!
These best friends match each other's energy and that energy is "idiot" because the vibes are off, and they are too dumb to notice!
So for once, I feel so confident about my wild ass theory that I don't even think it's wild and because of that, I'm driving this clown car all the way to clown college, and either you're in it with me, or you're in my way.
My solid theory rests solely on sneaky homeboy in the back who heard all about Rit lying to Pitcha at the beginning of episode four.
That guy was in the first episode the same night that Rit lied to Itt, and Rit gave him his usual general reading, but homeboy was pressing for a serious answer about investing in a major family project.
And he just magically happened to be the person who very loudly mentioned that Pitcha was Itt's childhood sweetheart conveniently in front of Rit's best friend who would overhear him.
He is also in the credits, so he has to be important.
I can't decide if he is friend or foe because if he is a friend, he has to be related to Itt and helping him, and we know Itt's grandparents seek out fortune tellers regarding family business, so it would track that he asked a fortune teller about the family project, but Itt's grandparents haven't mentioned another grand kid. If he is foe, (which I'm leaning on) it could possibly be because Rit gave him bad advice and now he wants revenge, so he is trying to expose Rit as a liar and doesn't like Itt because their families are rivals BUT NONE OF THAT MATTERS RIGHT NOW!
What's important is that this seemingly random guy knew exactly who Itt's childhood sweetheart was well enough to know that when Pitcha walked into the bar, it was him, even though years have passed.
YET ITT HAS NO CLUE?!
That's odd that Itt wouldn't have known anything about his childhood sweetheart even though he has been thinking about him for all these years and he is a Kpop trainee, while this rando guy at a bar does know.
But it's because Itt was never in love with Pitcha even as kids and was in love with Rit all along!
Clue #1: Itt and Rit knew each other as kids, and even though Rit never thought Itt noticed him, Itt definitely knew who he was.
Clue #2: Itt's behavior in the elevator was wild! He walked in FACING Rit, kissed him on the forehead when the elevator jerked, then didn't turn around and face the front until Rit exited, and then he smiled!
Clue #3: Itt's grandparents are big believers and have personal private fortune tellers, yet Itt isn't a believer which he has stated several times, but he went to go see a fortune teller at some random bar . . . mmm, sure!
Clue #4: He didn't want to go see a fortune teller until his friends showed him the picture of the fortune teller, who just happened to be Rit. Once he saw the picture, he demanded they go to the bar THAT NIGHT!
Clue #5: He seemed really happy to see Rit at the bar and was hit with the pink = 💕love💕 lighting! Also, he didn't wait for Rit to respond to him asking how much for the reading. In fact, he just told Rit he would be waiting at the table.
Clue #6: When Itt was asking Rit questions regarding his destiny, Rit was being super short simply stating that everything was "good" (and to watch for the grandparents' health SO NOTHING BETTER HAPPEN TO THEM!). He wasn't talking to Itt because he was quickly trying to end the conversation, but Itt wasn't having it, so he asked another question to buy more time with Rit.
Clue #7: The next question Itt asked was about his past, and Rit threw down three stones: secrets/a turn of destiny, happiness/fulfillment, presents/soulmates. Then he said "I used to have . . ." AND THEN HIS FRIEND CUT HIM OFF! Itt never said what he had because his FRIEND interrupted and said that he had a childhood sweetheart. Itt just went with it because HIS secret will lead him to happiness with his soulmate. The stones aren't about Rit lying to Itt but about Itt lying to Rit because the past Itt was asking about was THEIR past, and he was going to say that "I used to have A CRUSH ON YOU" before he got interrupted!
Clue #8: Rit thinks Itt is trying to relive the past believing he is Pitcha, but Itt is actually reliving THEIR past, which he did by taking him to watch him swim because Rit used to watch him swim when they were kids.
Clue #9: Rit's best friend poked multiple holes in Rit's fantasy that Itt didn't suspect anything: 1) Isn't it strange that Itt doesn't recognize you aren't Pitcha? 2) Does Itt not think it's odd that you changed your named? 3) Has Itt not questioned anything about this? All of which Rit responds that it feels like he is in a dream, but he is just going with it.
Clue #10a: The grandparents' fortune tellers specifically stated that ITT is the problem. Rit is the lucky one, but Itt is the issue and his "heart has made it worse."
Clue #10b: They also mentioned Itt not believing in destiny, and when Itt asked his first question to Rit way back at the bar, his first question was about his destiny, which Rit threw three stones: Patience/Transition, Light/Torch, Guardian/Protection. All of these were qualities that the fortune tellers attributed to Rit. Therefore, Rit is Itt's destiny, but instead of just being patient and believing in it, Itt's heart made things worse by lying.
Clue #11: Which is why he keeps getting physically injured in episode four.
Clue #12: In the next episode, the sister reads Rit's fortune, and states there is a secret that may hurt him.
Clue Unlucky #13: The fake wedding ends with them having sex, but the only reason they needed to have a fake wedding was because of Itt's "horrible luck" and Itt was the one who told Rit he couldn't go home basically stating that they needed to have sex for the ritual to work.
But it would be a really shitty thing for a guy to go to such extremes just to fuck you!
And it would be even shittier if some dude who you gave generic advice to was the one who told you instead of the guy whose been lying to you while you fall for him, right?
So . . . are the eight of us who are watching this show going to fit in my clown car?
Or am I driving solo to Clown Community College?
