Dagger Heels

Wondrous Item, rare

“Black, elegant, high heeled stiletto shoes with more straps than are actually functional. They wrap and lace halfway up the shin. It would take a very dextrous and skilled fighter to wear these in combat.”

The heels of these two shoes conceal a dagger +1 that is Immune to the Detect Magic spell. You must use a Bonus Action to draw one of these daggers before you can make an attack using them.

You can use your Action to make an attack against a creature with the Prone condition if at least one of the daggers are in the heels of these shoes. When attacking with these dagger shoes, you are considered proficient, and the attack uses your Strength or Dexterity, and counts as a finesse weapon.

Attacks against creatures with the Prone condition have a +5 bonus to the attack roll, +10 bonus to the damage roll, and can score a Critical Hit on a roll of 18, 19 or 20 on the d20.

Ronald's Shoes

Ronald's shoes were kept in a little cupboard by the back door. Since Ron had died, Elaine had only pulled them out a handful of times. There had been little need to. She had everything she needed in this house to sustain her--the garden and the animals that she and Ron used to tend together gave her all she needed. All of it was hers to manage, now, and every inch of it was missing Ron.

But there were things you couldn't make yourself. Things that couldn't be put off forever. She pulled his shoes out once again. Black and grey sneakers, size 9.5. They were dotted with dribbles of wax or spatterings of mud, just like they had when Ronald had owned them.

Elaine sat and, with a grimace, pulled one shoe onto her right foot, tied it securely. Then the next, with something of a pained gasp when her feet slid into the shoe. They burned against her feet. Like she was stepping in hot lava, blistering heat radiating up through the soles of the sneakers, now burning through the shoe.

She hobbled to the door--the too-large shoes knocking about on her feet as she walked, stifling a grunt with every step. Out onto the patio and the burning had become intense. Forcing down the swell of panic in her gut, Elaine cleared her voice: "Store," she said, and took a step forward.

Her foot landed on a cement floor. Instead of her front porch, she was standing in the middle of the grocery section of the Costco over in Springsdale.

She limped up the aisle. When they had built their house, miles away from civilization, they let the road wash away behind them in the first year. They always had Ronald's shoes, if they needed to go anywhere. And Ron used to be the one to wear them.

Ron was gone now, and the house was further away from the world every day.

Apo is a triton bard born without legs so he uses magic boots to get around. He uses a shell on his hip as an instrument. And probably stole the shoes from a sea hag

Again at the last minute! But it was worth the waiting! This time also for Unknown Blues by Fletcher Henderson! I know it's like putting an elevator in an outhouse, but its so funny 😂

It is a pity that Felix was not here much, but maybe next time it will be better ^^
