Owl readathon

Eventhough I’m still busy with the winter magical readathon I want to bring this readathon to everyone’s attention. In this time of quarantine it’s sometimes difficult to connect with people and I thought this would be the perfect occasion!

The readathon is based on the Owls and Newts from Harry Potter. The Owls will take place in April, which means you’ll have to finish your books for the Owls in that month and the Newts in August. To know which books you should read you have to choose a career. (Definitely take a look at her booklet with careers! So much work is put into it and it’s beautiful.) When you know which career you want to do you can also know which subjects you have to pass during the Owls. For example, Herbology, Charms, Potions and Muggle studies. Each of these subjects have a prompt. For example, read a book that starts with an m. So, in this case you have to read 4 books in April and you base your TBR list on the prompts.

All the information you need, the prompts and the booklet with careers is in the description of her video. Definitely go take a look at it!! It’s amazingly set up and I loved participating last year. I will be sharing my TBR and my career soon and I’m looking forward to hearing about yours!

April 13, 2020 What is your favorite boat/sea/coast related content? I loved reading Daughter of the Pirate King and watching Vikings. • Here is one of the books I will be reading for OWLs. The way it’s looking, I may have to do a reading marathon if I want to complete all my prompts. I’ve only completed one book.
