CINDY LEE - A Message From The Aching Sky

In 2015, Women’s former guitarist/singer Patrick Flegel's new band Cindy Lee released two excellent albums "Act Of Tenderness” and “Malenkost” both released digitally and on limited edition cassette. Now, Superior Viaduct/W.25th and Italian label Maple Death are going to release “Malenkost” on vinyl for the first time, including a bonus track called “A Message From The Aching Sky”. Cindy Lee - Malenkost (2015) when the Calgary band Women called it quits following Chris Reimer’s death in 2012, brothers Patrick and Matthew Flegel went on to create their own projects. Matthew in a melodic direction with the post-punk Viet Cong (now Preoccupations), and Patrick with in a lo-fi/no wave direction with Cindy Lee and Androgynous Mind.
