After Chris leaves for Texas, Buck can only take so long before he needs to do something. Cue a trip into the woods, lots of different couches and a family that slowly starts to grow back together again. Prompt: "Couch"
All This Time I've Wasted (You Were Right There All Along)
It happens naturally, is the thing. So, so naturally that Buck doesn't even notice it happened, at first, not until he's sitting at the table in the station, coffee in his hands, talking to Bobby. Obviously, the realization hits him in the middle of a sip and he inhales enough coffee to make him seriously consider never touching a mug again, while he's retching over the sink trying to get it all out. Or: Buck kisses his best friend, realizes he's in love with him and is a disaster about it. Eddie is confused, but decides to go with it.
