This is an event dedicated to Alex/Henry from Red, White and Royal Blue, Buck/Eddie from 9-1-1, and Ilya/Shane from Heated Rivalry brought to you by @illburnyouontheceiling, @smolfunpenguin and @i-put-the-star-in-bastard.

Build your own blanket fort
Decide what to watch, grab a blanket, pick a snack and choose a buddy to create the perfect blanket fort for our boys and share your creations with us!
You get to choose a couple, then one prompt from each category.
The prompts are quotes and tropes from each piece of media and you have to pick a prompt from a different fandom than the couple you've chosen as this is a crossover event.

I really do think that a lot of the guys in the MLH - whether they’re self-proclaimed allies or not - end up feeling pretty awkward and/or weird around Shane and Ilya when they first come out. Whether because of the rivalry or the queer thing, there’s an adjustment period for a lot of people… and I think, beyond player opinion kind of having to change because Shane and Ilya break so many pre-conceived notions and stereotypes of queer men, most of the guys are just really, really ignorant of what two men even do together in a relationship. Especially those two.
And so I think that when it becomes clear that Shane and Ilya have not in fact had personality transplants, and are not only still the same dudes but are now in a relationship with their best bro, some players do have a record scratch moment. Like, it’s bordering on the edge of jealousy. It’s very much a: “is this what you guys do all day? you just hang out and play chel and order in?” And “you guys went to the Super Bowl this weekend? That was the date you went on?” And “wait so it’s just like - you spend all day every day with your bro just shooting the shit and having a good time but you also fuck? which is hot obviously because you want to fuck. and are always horny. and know your way around the equipment. because you’re both dudes.”
“Uh… yeah?”
“Yes.”
And half the Boston Raiders leave that conversation thinking: being gay sounds awesome?
one of the centaurs' favorite games to play is called Catch Troy. the rules are simple: whenever Troy, who is both Short and Fast zooms by, they try to simply grab him and pick him up mid-zoom by. however, he is well aware of their intentions and he will be actively trying to dodge them. if they successfully grab him and pick him up- and this must be witnessed by one or more other players- they get a point. points reset at the end of every month.
the game is not without risk, he WILL be kicking and he has occasionally been known to bite
Can you explain what thermodynamic disequilibrium is, especially in reference to PHM?
I've tried looking it up so I could come up with some ideas beforehand but it's usually thermodynamic equilibrium, and that's when the temperatures between two things even out. I'm assuming thermodynamic disequilibrium is when they don't match, but I don't understand how that connects to PHM?
of course! it's kind of a tough one 😅 the anon prompt behind it was this: "in honor of this heat wave. put that man in a 95° spaceship. let him cook". the prompt of "thermodynamic disequilibrium" is a play on that to allow for more leeway: extreme heat/cold and the repercussions of both recur often throughout the movie/book, so the prompt essentially means any form of extreme temperature imbalance (like the Time Go Fishing scene with burns/fire/heat...or putting grace in a 95° spaceship lol).
...it's also in reference to me being a big nerd, where upon researching thermodynamics and going down a three-hour-long rabbit hole, i decided that that "disequilibrium" worked best in the context of PHM. while thermodynamic equilibrium is a state of balance whereupon no system performs heat flow exchange, the universe itself is in constant disequilibrium temperature-wise, so i chose "disequilibrium" to infer a state of constant change and motion! but don't @ me, i'm an artist with delusions of physics 😆

actually now that i think about it i def need to see more content of grace haunting stratt and/or carl. I feel like it's often mentioned in passing but i don't find much beyond that.

thank you mark edward fischbach and ryan thomas gosling for making movies that i become extremely hyperfixated on with slightly similar plots with main characters that ended up being crossover shipped which eventually led me to discover drag path by 21 pilots
no i mean addiction. gambling addiction and self harm addiction included. we don't have to avoid these words like they're a bad thing. the stigma will exist regardless, so if someone says "what, you support addicts?" instead of saying "i support people struggling with substance abuse" you can just say "yes." no caveats, yeah i support addicts. i support homeless people. i support homeless addicts. it's fine
