WAIT RIGHT SO I JUST HAD A THOUGHT you know how, like, basically no one but Link and Zelda can even look at the master sword without it being all ark of the covenant face melty and shit? So like Zelda can wield it and fight with it? Okay, good, that being said. You know when Link’s all “Ah, I just died in your arms tonight~~”
Yeah, that’s about right.
Well, what if afterwards, when the shiekah men take Link to the shrine of resurrection instead of doing...Whatever she does, Zelda takes the master sword and the hylian shield and walks her ass to hyrule castle, busts up into the sanctum, calls down the bow of light, and rocks Ganon’s shit? She fights Calamity Ganon, Dark Beast Ganon, banishes him to the time out step, and then sits down next to Link’s healing body and has a good cry?
What if that happened? granted, he might sleep for 100 years and everyone he, like, knows and loves would still be dead and he’d be alive and that would be hella traumatizing but hyrule wouldn’t have fallen to ruin and zelda would’ve saved it all by herself, having a kick ass emotion powered fight scene which I think would be very badass of her.
