This is happening, guys! If this thing comes out, it’s probably going to be my singleplayer version of choice for a while. If Mr Lord Sith brings out modded-in multiplayer server support, it’s probably going to be my highly-coveted server ideal for a while. Even though Infdev is so old that normally it’s expected to not have sneaking, ride-in mine carts or even Redstone. Allowing crazy retro infinite terrain to be combined with an actual way of securing your new location far away from the world origin for longer than “until I die” is like giving Gyarados a physical water STAB.
