No cause I don’t get it with this fandom. How y’all can get like drarry and fricking jegulus, but not jeverus? And like, I’ll ship pretty much everything with Severus in it, but I wouldn’t call myself a jeverus shipper. But still, c’mon. It makes sense.

I mean just imagine it. James has finally gotten together with Lily - after obsessing over her since he met her in the train, before Hogwarts even started fully - and he’s finally got her. Everything should be amazing. He’s got it all. But for some reason, that feeling is still there. That need - that obsession - is still there, and it hasn’t been fulfilled at all. And he still can’t stop needling Severus any chance he gets, because that’s the only thing that gives him the slightest amount of fulfilment. When Severus looks at him - even though it is with anger and disgust - it makes him feel more than any of Lily’s looks. And now he does this in secret - because Lily doesn’t like it when he bullies Severus... is what he tells himself. It has nothing to do with that obsession towards her that she seemed to not have quenched at all…but which Severus does.

And then he finally realises, it was never about Lily. Those times he saw Severus and Lily, heads close, whispering about who knows what, and he felt that jealousy burning in him, it wasn’t because he wanted to be there instead of Severus. It was because he wanted to be there, instead of Lily. When he flirted with Lily blatantly, it wasn’t because he actually thought it would work. It was because Severus was standing right by her. And for as much time as he spent thinking about Lily, it is nothing compared to the amount of time he spent thinking about Severus. Checking the map to see where he was. Trying to get his attention in any way every time he saw him. Finding him on purpose, just to bully him.

And then would come the angst. Because here he is, finally with the girl he’s harassed for years, and it was never even about her. And James, he’s supposed to be the good guy. But why would he then be into Severus, whom he has labeled as a bad guy. But then again, there are plenty of others who were so much worse than Severus ever could. In fact, Severus wasn’t even pureblood… unlike James. Severus wasn’t rich… unlike James. And maybe… he really fucked up. So, should he just stay with Lily, as Severus was clearly slipping deeper into the darkness with each passing day (how much had James pushed him there?). But he still can’t stop thinking about Severus.

A/N: It has been 84 days since I last wrote and writing this little piece made me realize how much I miss it. With school and such I have been immensely overwhelmed and any time not dedicated to school has been spent trying to relax instead of writing which I am deeply sorry for. Since it's been so long since I've written and even longer since I've written consistently I hope this isn't too bad. I wrote it pretty quickly.

You could be truly, exceptionally, stubborn at times; to the point where sometimes it shocked even you.

As the straps of your bra fell from your shoulders you let out a content sigh, invisible knots in your shoulders unraveling as the tight constraints you had been subjected to all day fell from your body.

You gently lifted the flesh of your tit, giving you a view of the ugly red mark that marred the underside of your breasts along your ribcage. A gentle hiss left your lips as you gingerly traced the prominent mark with the tip of your finger. It wasn’t the first time such a mark had been left on your skin, you’d grown out of the bra you wore that day many moons ago but couldn’t bring yourself to give it away.

The bra wasn’t anything all that special, pretty no doubt with its black lace detailing on the cups and small bow sitting pretty between the swells of your breasts, but nothing that couldn’t be replaced. Especially if you’d told James about it, you knew without a doubt that that boy would always jump to do anything for you, it was just a plus if it involved buying you things, particularly if the item in question was lingerie. It was just that the bra made your tits look so good, providing the right amount of support to have them spilling over your top, edges of the black lace material visible from under low necklines.

Twisting your head though you saw that the mark made a full ring around your body, looking just as painful along your back.

Casting your eye downward to where the discarded garment laid on the floor, the thought that it might finally be time to get rid of the bloody thing crossed your mind just before two strong arms wrapped around your waist, pulling you flush against a warm, muscled stomach and from your contemplations.

“This doesn’t look good Mommy,” James’ recognizable voice grumbled in your ear, muffled by his lips being pressed against your neck. His much larger fingers danced across the same mark yours had, brows furrowed as he eyed the underside of your breasts in the mirror.

“Beauty’s pain Jamesie, bra’s just too bloody small.”

“Stupid bra, hurtin’ my Mommy.” The furrow of his brows formed into a full on pout as he started rubbing the afflicted skin with more and more force. Big baby never really realized how strong he was.

“Careful baby,” You scolded lightly, catching his wrist in your palm, “Don’t wanna hurt y’Mommy, do you?”

Black, fluffy curls furiously shook against your neck, tickling your jawline, “No Mommy m’sorry,” As he spoke his hands flew from your ribcage to the curve of your waist, massaging the flesh with his palms.

“It's okay pretty boy,” Your hands moved to cup his where they laid as his lips peppered kisses from the crook of your neck up to your right shoulder.

“No s’not okay, stupid bra hurt my Mommy.”

You couldn’t help but giggle at the sheer adorableness of him, his words, the way his big hazel eyes gazed at you in the mirror. Your head fell back onto the strong, muscled plane of his shoulder, pressing your cheek against his own, despite your bare back being pressed against his naked chest it was this skin to skin contact, the intimacy of your faces being so close to each other that sent shivers down your spine and lit a fire in your cheeks, being so close to him made you downright giddy.

“You wanna kiss me better baby?” You turned your head so that your nose bumped his cheek, small acne scars visible in the dim light of your bedroom.

A smirk formed on your lips as you watched the skin of his cheeks redden as he nodded gently against your shoulder, the side of his face rubbing against the tip of your nose.

“Use your words little boy.” Your hands snaked up from where they rested over his to cup the sides of his face, warm under your palms.

His arms squeezed you tighter at your teasing, embarrassment and arousal fighting for dominance inside of his pretty little head as the telltale fogginess already started to creep into, and cloud his consciousness.

“Yes, Mommy.” His voice was meek, truly pathetic as he just managed to gulp the words out.

“Yes, Mommy what?” You were wicked, and you knew it. And he loved it.

“Yes, Mommy, wanna kiss your titties better.”

“That wasn’t so hard now was it baby?” A pause, as you waited for him to respond.

He finally managed to murmur meekly, “No, Mommy.”

“That’s what I thought,” Condescension dripped from your voice as your hands fell back to their previous position on top of his. You gently pried his fingers from the fat of your hips that they gripped, giving his whines of protest no mind.

“Now go lay on the bed and take off your pants.”

Merlin, you’d never seen someone move faster.
