USP? I got no idea what that stands for with the #marchmeetthemakers. So if you know let me in on the secret. I do know what I have been up to over the past couple of evenings in the studio. It is this, sanding down underglaze layers in pots, applying a few more underglaze transfers, glazing the inside and glazing the outside of specific pots. Why not glaze the outside of all the pots? Or leave the outside of all the pots unglazed and matte? Because I like variety. Both the shiny glaze and the dry matte surfaces appeal to me on different ways so I make both. Anyways that’s my break from all the Coronavirus talk and debating on weather to bow out of a couple of upcoming arts festivals.
