Spicy Marinara Sauce - just 7 ingredients and done in 30 minutes!
Zucchini Pasta Marinara ~ My first experience with a spiralizer was very exciting. Not only was this gadget easy to use, it also created beautiful pasta out of a very standard, yet versatile vegetable. After spiralizing the zucchini, I simply boiled it in salted water for one minute, drained out the liquid, then topped with it with Cucina Antica Garlic Marinara Sauce and Parmesan cheese. To complete the meal, I toasted half an Ezekial english muffin and spread on a generous amount of mashed avocado.
Next time I create this dish, I will saute the zucchini in a teaspoon of olive oil (mainly to preserve some of the nutrients that are lost through the boiling process). I'll also experiment with different veggies, such as sweet potato, yellow squash and carrots. Experimenting with alternate methods of cooking and using different ingredients is the best way to discover recipes that deliver the most flavorful dish. Spiral on!

People are so afraid of lasagna.. maybe because it’s got a lot steps and they don’t wanna ruin such a beloved classic Italian dish. I’m telling you, don’t be afraid! It’s actually super easy and it really doesn’t take that long to make.
