What helped you change your lifestyle and mindset??
Honestly it was NOT easy. After recovery I focused on establishing a good relationship with food, not really thinking about calories and stuff, more so just eating clean.
After that it was small steps along the way. Started going to the gym but didn’t change my diet. Then I started to be more open with my friends / family about my recovery (I hadn’t told my friends about anything because I was embarrassed). Then I started IIFYM and now can eat literally whatever I want.
Tumblr also helped boatloads. Aubernutter, marisaaprice, and kate-windsor are both great people to follow for inspiration, literally following them has helped so much.
Now that I’m doing crush that’s helped me LOADS. I have more stability with crush and having Ben as a reference whenever I want.
Changing your lifestyle and mindset is fucking HARD. It takes time, it takes steps, it’s a constant process. You need to remind yourself all the time why you’re doing it and why you’re keeping on with recovery. But I’m so happy with where I am now and I’m getting better every day.
