You know, I've never been super active in the Mario fandom before, but lately I've had an idea (or possible multiple ideas) for a Mario fic. Not sure if it's (they're?) going to go anywhere because I've got like five ideas for fics in general right now and that's just the stuff I haven't even started yet and probably never will. (The ideas are there, but not enough for me to know how to even start them, let alone anything else.)

So one of the more shippier ideas of this... er... idea, is that Luigi is in a weird predicament. See, kingdoms are doing what kingdoms do, and Princess Daisy and Prince Peasley are betrothed for political reasons because political alliances, right? But they aren't really interested in each other, per se, but they do have one thing in common, and that's being smitten over the green plumber dork. Funny enough, I did actually come up with this idea on my own, but having looked through their ship tags, I've noticed that I am not the first person to have thought of this scenario, so that's pretty funny! But it doesn't end there! Ohhhh no...

So, Luigi is feeling conflicted, because like... is this okay? Like it's crazy enough that he's getting this kind of attention from freaking royalty, but being in a relationship with two people? And effectively being the glue that binds them together? He's not sure how to feel about that, so he goes to Mario for advice. And this is where it all goes downhill. Because Mario is like "Oh, yeah, that's fine. I mean me and Peach have something similar going on."

And Luigi's like "What?" and Mario goes "Yeah, we've got, uh... how do I put this... an open relationship?"

Luigi is still confused, so Mario enlightens him. "So, you know how I sometimes take business trips to Rogueport?" Luigi nods. "Yeah, those aren't business trips."

And that's how Luigi finds out Mario still visits Goombella and Vivian from time to time. Sometimes at the same time.

("And Peach is okay with that?" "What do you mean? It was Peach's idea." "WHAT?")

So in your headcanon what’s the relationship between Mario and Vivian

Ok I will respond with 2 answers:

1) Mario and Vivian are a couple in my AU (I ship Mario with Peach, Pauline, Geno and Vivian), they both have chush in Paper Mario and they are like a t4t couple

2) They are both friends, they have a great friendship, but they are more comrades due to their sexuality problems, Vivian suffers for being transgender and Mario sometimes identifies as bisexual and pansexual at the same time
