Sharing some of the songs I like listening to on a rainy day where you just want to stay in bed, read a book and contemplate life. Cheers to great music!

It’s been far too long since we’ve had a fresh original from Skrillex co-signed singer songwriting talent Mark Johns, who last gave us her Molino EP a good while back. News of a new single certainly had me perking up in jubilation. Mark Johns bathes us with a bewitching effusion of frothy effervescent, sweetly biting future R&B on Same Girl, a must for any fan of Felix Snow’s work with Kiiara and Terror Jr. But Same Girl is more moody lascivious and slinky salacious. It’s edgy and spunky, and yet another fine display of Mark Johns’ versatility and creativity. Same Girl is but the first of more new tunes to come later this year. It’s going to be a fabulous second half of the year. Same Girl is available from iTunes, here.
6LACK’s PRBLMS is on fire. It’s one of the most hotly buzzing hip hop tracks of the moment. A new rendition of that trappy jam has also ignited since it dropped on Friday. This new PRBLMS comes by way of ever talented and multifaceted artist Mark Johns, who partners up with Los Angeles based producer Judge to deliver a smoky seductive, torrid burning conflagration of sultry R&B, electro, and hip hop. You can grab the brilliant edit for free, here.
