guys i crashed out so bad last night theres a literal paragraph in my drafts that i wrote last night while crying lmaoo
its weird trying to explain to people who didnt grow up like that, that marrying for love is a luxury. i didnt even know that i wasnt allowed to marry for love until i started dating at like 19. when i was dating my now husband, my grandma pulled me aside and gave me the 1-4, and asked me i if i was with him because he was cute or if he *actually* had prospects.
i was 21 so of course i assured her that he was brimming with potential... but he was. that wasnt a lie. i am, after all, my grandmothers second chance at a daughter. one that the consequences dint fall on, but that she could mold and move and make.
