kaminari's super fun awesome stingray-tastic birthday trip

kaminari loves stingrays.
he’s loved them ever since he first developed his quirk. in fact, he’s not only loved them, but he’s completely identified with them. they have stupid looking faces, they’re weirdly shaped, they’re generally pretty nice, and the barb on their tails is kinda like his electrification.
so when his boyfriends offered to take him to the super new and fancy aquarium for his birthday, how could he possibly say no?
kaminari shoves on his sneakers and shoulders the stingray shaped backpack bakugou bought him when they first started dating, before leaving his dorm room.
the elevator ride down to class 3a’s common room feels like hours, but when he hears the soft “ding!” of the elevator door, he practically flings himself out of the metal box and into shinsou’s waiting arms.
“happy birthday, baby,” are the first words that kaminari hears, followed by a gentle kiss on his head. the peace is short-lived when the two of them hear their explosive boyfriend storming up to them.
“fucking finally, dunce face. we were waiting for you.”
bakugou grabs kaminari’s hand, and kaminari grabs shinsou’s as the three of them make their way to the train station, with kaminari already rattling on about stingrays happily.
for kaminari, the train ride feels endless, despite only being about half an hour. bakugou and shinsou both notice as kaminari’s leg bounces, his hands making animated motions as he speaks, his voice heightening in volume. shinsou smiles fondly, placing a grounding hand on his knee, while bakugou elbows kaminari when his voice gets too loud–but even he finds it hard to keep the amused smile off his face.
when the three of them finally make it to the aquarium, kaminari’s excitement multiplies. immediately, he drags his boyfriends to the stingrays, and he quiets, his yellow eyes fixated on the fish as their fins move gracefully through blue water. the aquarium is quiet today, with only a few bystanders in their section–but even if it were loud, kaminari wouldn’t care. he doesn’t notice the rare, genuine smile appearing on bakugou’s face, nor does he notice shinsou taking out his camera and cursing when his flash accidentally goes off. all he sees is pure beauty in fish form.
kaminari snaps out of it after a few minutes when bakugou drapes an arm around his waist. he sighs softly, leaning into the blond’s side.
“kats?”
a soft grunt next to him lets him know bakugou’s listening.
“um… thank you for bringing me here. i’ve always wanted to come to this aquarium.”
bakugou glances down at him, his sharp gaze softening, before he leans down, pressing his lips to kaminari’s.
“happy birthday, dunce face.”
by the time the three of them make it back to the train station, it’s nearing dusk, and kaminari is exhausted, leaning heavily on bakugou and shinsou as they walk.
he listens contentedly as shinsou and bakugou bicker over what to cook for dinner, and kaminari can almost believe that the three of them are married with five children, and not just third years at U.A. almost.
“...that’s why we should make ramen tonight. you stupid piece of shit.”
“WHAT THE HELL DID YOU SAY?! i’ll make whatever i damn well please, you fucking eyebags loser!”
“eyebags loser…? also, ramen is denks’ favorite food. you’re a bad boyfriend.”
“OH, FUCK OFF! I’M A GREAT BOYFRIEND MINDFUCKER!”
“mindfucker sounds kinda kinky.”
kaminari lets out a soft laugh, squeezing bakugou’s and shinsou’s hands as they finally make it to the dorms.
kaminari loves stingrays.
and kaminari loves his boyfriends.
and kaminari couldn’t have asked for a better birthday.
they get together early in their 2nd year and NO ONEEE FUCKING SEES IT COMING
kinda funny seeing their progression from sworn enemies to “i have died for you and i will die for you again”
aizawa and present mic see themselves in bakugou and deku
when oboro died, present mic was fueled with anger and took it out on aizawa, so their history is also complicated
makes them happy seeing other kids get their happy ending
anyways this isn’t about erasermic. let me lock in
izuku most definitely gets nightmares about the war, and even about events before the war
always ends up going to bakugou’s room
rests his heart on bakugou’s chest to hear his heartbeat
both of them absolutely forget their anniversaries LMAO
its not like they don’t care but they’re both so locked in it slips their minds
neither of them really do big extravagant dates or anything so they just hang out in each other’s rooms or run errands together
they have protective sleeves with keychain attachments for their all might cards
they accompany each other to their doctor appointments
bakugou probably hates doctors by this point, especially procedures that require a lot of poking and prodding, so izuku distracts him by yapping the whole time
they play games together, and especially like tomodachi life
bakugou’s island definitely has some dumb shit on his island vocabulary LMFAO
izuku probably cries if he and bakugou ever fight on his island
speaking of fights (oh boy)
these two bicker a lot
but RARELY seriously fight
i think they know each other too well and are often able to sort it out before it gets too cray cray
but when it does get too cray cray there’s a lot of crying and minimal shouting
bakugou has since learned to curb his anger a bit since the beginning of their relationship, so he’d probably have to leave the room/house to collect himself before having a proper conversation
izuku would also need the space, but he wouldn’t necessarily want it
he’d take longer to calm down for a conversation because of how emotional he can be
once they make up, it’s lots of silent apologetic actions rather than direct verbal apologies
they have matching jewelry
bakugou definitely already wears a lot of jewelry so they have a few matching necklaces and some bracelets with (and maybe matching rings too wink wink)
izuku probably is the one to propose but he’s a nervous wreck and borderline crying through his words

eri is the flower girl, kota is the ring bearer
once they’re in their own house, they get a dog
SPEAKING OF DOGS
bakugou has a service dog, izuku has an emotional support dog
they probably wouldn’t adopt children due to their busy schedules and existing health issues but they’re pretty much unofficial parents to eri, kota, and literally all of the other children they’ve managed to parent during their UA years
