@alphascorpiixx here you go!
A strange thing about stories—though this all happened so long ago and so far away that words cannot describe the time or the distance, it is also happening right now. Right here. It is happening as you read these words.
UH GUYS LUXU ISN'T THE TRAITOR AND I HAVE PROOF AND IS IN FACT SOMEONE ELSE
But you aren't going to like it. Theory below.
For the ask game: a fic featuring more of your Foreteller Family AU? (It's a very fun AU!!)
It was raining cats and dogs in Daybreak Town. No one was out and instead everyone was seeking shelter. This included the foretellers looking down at everything in their tower. It was warm and cozy inside, unlike the dark, cold, and wet outside.
They were using this time to get whatever work they could done. They were all existing in the same room which was rare and miraculous. Ava however was tense. Storms never bothered her but something ate at her. Something was wrong she was just trying to figure what was in the back of her mind.
"Do you guys think all the building can handle the weather?" She asked, breaking the silence. "Hm.. you have a point, there's no way it's not flooding," Invi replied. Everyone looked to Ira and he leaned against the table as he thought.
"There will damage after this storm, you have a point Ava. Especially in the weaker buildings." He trailed off and thought for another moment. "We can't provide everyone with shelter on this short of a notice," He sighed. They all felt bad, but hopefully everyone would be able to brave this, they were all keyblade wielders after all.
That didn't answer what was bothering Ava. There was one thing in particular. Someone was missing. Of course there was Luxu and there were...
"Wait doesn't Brain live in those districts? We've been in his house- his roof is garbage it can't handle this!" Everyone went still and the air became tense. The realization came to everyone.
"No... no it won't..." Ira replied, "Why do you bring this up?"
Ava sputtered. "He's our brother we can't just leave him there!"
"She has a point," Aced spoke up and looked over to Ira. Ava frowned, not wanting this to turn into fuel for their dumb rivalry. Ira took notice of him and studied the rest of them.
"Ava... you know how we can't lean into favoritism. Yes, he is our brother but we can-" Ira was interrupted by Aced "He's not like the others- he's our brother!"
"When was the last time you hung out with him?" Gula quietly muttered, loud enough that only Ava could hear.
"Aced, he's not one of us, he's not a foreteller-" "You're giving him private lessons! Gula and him are trading notes! How are those not special treatment?!"
Gula groaned. "Don't drag me into this..."
"Guys- that's enough." Invi finally spoke up. Everyone stopped speaking and looked to her. "Ava, just this once you can bring him up here"
Ira almost said something but swallowed it. He nodded in agreement and Ava got up to get him.
