Chihiro Fujisaki would have been a perfect Mastermind character due to the fact that it’s very unexpected. Chihiro dies early on in chapter 2, and Mondo’s motive for killing him was to keep his secret about killing Daiya. However, when Chihiro was still alive, as a Mastermind he could have very easily mindbroken Mondo as someone who was close to him, and insist that killing himself would be the only way to atone for killing Daiya. This would explain why he does little to defend himself during the class trial. He could have helped Chihiro fake his death by covering him in blood from the nurse’s office and leaving him on the floor. Byakuya likely would not have found Mondo out as faking it either, as he came in after Chihiro had been ‘killed’ and simply strung up Chihiro and took blood from his forehead. Also, having the technical prowess to set up such fanciful executions would make sense for Chihiro, as well as the ridiculous budget it must have taken to gather the materials. Since Alter Ego was also created by Chihiro and everyone trusted him for the 2 chapters he was alive for, Alter Ego could easily have been used to feed false information to the surviving students and mislead them. In conclusion, Kazutaka Kodaka is a coward and Chihiro Fujisaki should have been the mastermind
