PASSOVER PACK A PACK OF 5 CUSTOM RECIPES
Passover or Pesach is one of the major festivals in the Jewish calendar, it's the celebration of the Exodus of the Israelites from Egypt and lasts for either seven days or eight days.
During Passover, one of the things people do is have a big meal or feast together called the Passover Seder, where it's important to tell & talk about the Exodus story, eat special symbolic foods placed on a Seder plate, drinking wine and to celebrate the Isrelites' freedom.
These are some of the foods one might find at a Passover Seder.

Matzah Crack
It's Passover season! Let's make my family's favorite matzah dessert.
4 matzah* crackers (note that matzos is the plural for matzah)
2 cups firmly packed brown sugar
1 cup (2 sticks) butter
12-24 ounces chocolate chips (add to your taste, but I like at least 16oz myself)
1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)
~1/2 teaspoon kosher salt (optional)
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper, making sure it covers up the sides of the sheet.
Cover the baking sheet with the matzos, cutting and piecing them together as necessary to fill the entire pan.
Combine the butter and brown sugar in a medium saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture comes to a boil. (If it looks like it’s separating, just keep stirring; it will fix itself.)
Once the mixture comes to a boil, continue cooking and stirring for another 5 minutes. Immediately pour the toffee over the matzos and, using a spatula, spread into an even layer. (Caution: the toffee will be super hot!)
Put the pan into the oven and bake for 8 minutes, or until the toffee is bubbling across the top.
Remove it from the oven and immediately scatter the chocolate chips evenly over the top. Wait a minute for the chips to start to melt, then use a spatula to spread them into an even layer. Sprinkle as desired with the pecans and sea salt, then refrigerate until the toffee is cool and the chocolate is firm.
Using a large knife, cut it into squares. Store in an airtight container in the fridge, and enjoy it served cold!
Is that time of the year where I watch The Prince of Egypt on repeat for a week
I’ll just leave this here. (x)
