Here are some headcanons:

- Palpatine provided him with concubines if he needed it. All personally vetted by the old man of course and sometimes equipped with knives for extra training

- Maul has and will always try to sleep naked when he’s in a safe space

- King of eye contact. Holding a conversation, just listening to someone, during sex. Even if they’re not looking at him he will directly look at whoever his attention is on.

- Switch

- After he‘s freed from Stygeon he goes to find Savage‘s lightsaber and keeps it on display

- During his time on Mandalore he was prone to migraines and used some essential oils to tackle them

1. I like my facial structure, especially my jaw. It’s a nice square shape.

2. I like my sense of humor. I have successfully obtained the Laughter from many friends, and I’d like to keep doing that 👀 One of them said I should legit be a comedian. I guess we’ll see.

3. I like my imagination. I think I’ve made some pretty cool OC’s over the years, of course, but in general.. idk my daydreaming has kept me going. It’s inspired me. Maybe disassociating into my imagination is just a coping mechanism but I’ll take it lmao

4. I’ve been told I can mimic/replicate music and dance moves very quickly which is super neat. That’s how I learned shit in choir - I can’t fucking read sheet music but damn it once I hear the notes I know how to stay on key.

5. I like that I’m a good person?? Which sounds super weird, because I’m not the one who can judge that, but.. idk I try hard to be kind and understanding and flexible in my ways and it just.. it feels nice. To not be full of too much bitterness and hate towards things that don’t matter, to make people feel welcome and accepted. I’m glad I’m in a mindset where I can do that to people and I hope I’ve accomplished it. 🥺

I have such a love affair with that line. It says so much in so few words.

As a man who has devoted much of his life to studying and obsessing over the building blocks that make up this “crude matter”, I also find it strange to me that that line means so much. I mean, life IS this crude matter. It is DNA and cells and proteins and atoms, folded and re-folded a quadrillion times. It is the result of basic chemical processes repeated and repeated until it works in a way functional enough to be passed on, driven by the flowering of evolution through time. Nothing more, nothing less.

But also, it IS so much more than that. It is the glory of feeling the warmth of the rising sun on your skin. It is grasping the hand of someone you love. It is the sharp, hollow knife to your core when someone you love dies. It is the blind terror of the unknown and the raging fire of anger when you are wronged. It is the upwelling of emotion when you hear a beautiful song. It is the cool relief of rain, and the silent awe in the emerging of a full moon from behind dissipating clouds. Life is wonder. It makes us shine.
