You had no idea how you fell so quickly for her, was it the red fiery hair, or the way she confidently makes her way around, her ocean blue eyes that were prettier than the ocean…

But since that moment she walked inside the science classroom, Maxine or better said Max had completely awed you.

Soon enough you were good friends, the tension between you being way too obvious, and finally at the snowball dance, you were making your way back home when suddenly and arm pulled you behind. You turned around, and the girl planted her lips on yours, you immediately recognized her and quickly kissed her back.

You spent almost the whole summer together growing closer and closer.

And one day, your relationship took a step up. Both of you where at your house, cuddling while watching a movie, something very usual. Except your parents where out of town so you where all alone, so you didn’t have to worry about kissing her.

You were cuddled against her, your head in the crook of her neck, a position you very much liked.

At a certain point, you were getting bored of the movie, it was too slow , absolutely no action. Naturally you sighed at the shit joke, that shouldn’t even be called a joke that one of the characters made.

The red head quickly noticed your bored state so she kissed your temple, “bored much?” she asked.

“Yeah” you smiled at her, feeling butterflies from the kiss, you kissed her back in the neck, which sent a chill down her spine, ‘must’ve hit that spot’, you thought.

So you kissed her neck again, biting her neck a little bit trying to find the spot once again. Max moved her head up to give you more access.

Then you heard a light moan coming from her mouth, making you melt for a second. You knew you found that spot and proceeded to bite it and nib it. Max grabbed your head gently, liking the feeling.

After most likely leaving a hickey you looked up cheekily at her and she guided your head to hers, and your lips met. It was cut short as you pulled away “it’s getting kinda hot in here…” you stated while getting on your knees to take off your sweater. “Don’t you think so?” You added as You put your hands on your girlfriends sweater lightly tugging it looking at her for permission.

“Yeah, I think the temperature rose a whole lot” max replied while helping you to take off her sweater.

You didn’t know were you had gotten this confidence, yeah you and Max had dated quite a while but you had never ever made out. You only shared long kisses but nothing like this.

After the girl took of her sweater both of your lips connected once again, at first it was a slow movement, both of your grasping each second of the kiss.

But then the red head flipped you, your back now on the couch as she straddled your waist, you let out a gasp not expecting it. Max then put both of her hands beside your head as you gripped her waist with both of her hands and pulled her down for another kiss.

This one was fast, lips on lips, moving roughly against each other. And soon enough Max’s lips traveled down, she kissed your chin, then your jawline and finally your neck.

She sloppily moved her lips against trying to find your spot, which she did pretty quickly, you were officially on cloud fucking nine. “Fuck yes” you muttered as she kept attacking your neck.

After a while both of you stopped, kinda tired. And where now cuddled against each other having now put a better movie. “You know..” max trailed off out of nowhere.

“What?” You questioned as you looked at her, noticing a strand of her orange hair on her face so you quickly put it behind her ear.

The girl lovingly smiled at the action putting her hand on your cheek looking into your eyes. “That was the first time we’ve ever made out”

You opened your mouth letting out a gasp of realization “oh, wow yeah it was… and it was freaking amazing”

Max giggled and kissed your cheek “I agree, I really love you y/n”

“I really love you too Max” you smiled at her pecking her lips quickly but lovingly.

summary: You finally got a day's rest after a stressful and overwhelming week. You lay on your bed as your thoughts wandered then gathered themselves again, but now with thoughts about her.

You lay on your bed with a thump; sounds of rain thumping against your window fills the room with an ambience. It feels nice being able to think about things slowly after a horrifying week. I mean, who could have guessed that the town you live in since you were a fetus is above a hellish monster-filled place called the upside down? Kinda ironic if you ask me.

A sigh escapes your lips as you close your eyes. You breathed in for a moment, then let it out after another. You open your eyes again, staring at the ceiling as your mind wanders. Though it wasn't your previous thoughts that were currently present, it was now about *her.*

Maxine Mayfield, though she prefers to be called "Max" for personal reasons, is one of the most interesting people you have ever met or got acquainted with. You saw her as a rough person with a tough exterior when you first met her at the arcade along with the party. She had a smug aura around her along with confidence you once thought was misplaced; you were wrong. Yet even as though that is your first impression of the auburn haired girl, she still somehow made herself a place in your heart. The feeling is mutual, it wasn't bad or good per se (just felt weird and foreign to you).

Everything she did around you, whether it was laughing at a really bad joke you made or to how her eyes just shine in admiration when she sees something she likes, it would always undoubtedly make your heart flutter and drop. *Wait, 'flutter and drop..?' don't tell me.*

You jolted awake upon the realization as your body immediately sat up right. You brought your hand towards your mouth,

*"Oh.." You breathed out feeling slightly overwhelmed.*

As things around the town start to calm a bit before the inevitable storm, you finally got the chance to think about your feelings for the girl. The question of *how* and *why* were still unanswered but you didn't pay any mind to that, as all you care about in the moment is the fact that you do *have* a crush on Max. *'No wonder why she always makes me feel weird,'* You thought as a smile tugs along your lips; you are satisfied with what you have realized.

"What are you doing outside at this hour and in the rain?!" You scolded her as she swooped down and entered your room. "Just wanted to see you." Casually, she replied, now taking off her yellow jacket and shoes, placing it on the floor below the window. You sighed, locking the window and proceeded to scold her more, "It's the middle of the night, Max. What is something so important that you had to see me right now and not until tommorow? You could get sick!" She crossed her arms on her chest and huffed in reply, "Firstly, I wore a jacket so I couldn't get wet that much. Secondly, I just wanted to see you and lastly, I JUST WANTED TO SEE YOU." She uncrossed her arms and dramatically started jabbing it on the air to highlight her statement and for you to realize that yes, she just wanted to see you and also to realize that no, it wasn't the only reason.

Suddenly, there was a knock on the window, wait a knock? There shouldn't be anyone outside at this hour, even more so someone on the other side of the glass pane. "Y/n? You there?" The person asked as they knocked again but louder, You recognized their voice immediately and went to the window, pushing aside the curtains as you unlocked it.

"God, what am I gonna do with you." You mumbled. After a few seconds, you asked her, "You're going to stay for the night right?" she looked at you like you were stupid, "Yes of course I'm staying for the night, also why is your room so dark? I thought you were scared of the dark." She answered and asked you back, now walking to your door and flicking on the light switch beside it. "Again, I'm not afraid of the dark, I'm afraid of what's inside it." You clarified to which she nodded rarely agreeing to. She walked back to you and sat on your bed, making you sit beside her. "Y'know, seeing you isn't the only reason I went here." She started, now fiddling your blanket with her fingers. "Yeah I figured." Replying, you laid your back on the bed, gaze occasionally switching between her and the ceiling above. "Do you wanna talk about it?" You asked. She looked at you with blue eyes filled with nervousness, "I wanna but it feels difficult to talk about." You nod in reply, reassuring her that you were willing to listen and wait. She stayed silent as her gaze returned to your blanket, fiddling with it again. These were rare times, where Max Mayfield, the smug energetic ball of sunshine is quiet, she also had a look of indecisiveness on her face which worried you. You didn't want her to force herself talking about it so you sat back up and gently placed a hand on her shoulder, "We don't have to talk about it if you're uncomfortable saying it." Her gaze was back on you again, "But I really want to. I really really want to.." She raised her hand slowly and placed it on your cheek. You looked at her confused yet eventually closed your eyes and leaning into her touch. She smiled and leaned in towards you, pecking your lips before immediately leaning away. You opened your eyes in suprise, cheeks red as her hand twitched, she pulled it back by your reaction and sighed. "That's what I've been trying to tell you.." She mumbled quietly, her gaze down to where her hands rested on her lap.

That was interesting, you've never figured her out of all people would hold such feelings for you. She was brave to do that despite not knowing her feelings were equal to yours, one which you deeply admired, your eyes softened as you gently reached for her hand and took it, wrapping it with yours as she looked at you, confused by it while also waiting to hear what you are going to say or do. You smiled and leaned in, kissing her. You felt her smile and giggle, using her other hand to cup your cheek and kiss back deeper before pulling back, "I love you." Those words were strong yet held such meaning, the way she said it to you held so much meaning. Your heart full of warmth as she hugged you. Sounds of rain filled the room again, enveloping both you in solace as you hugged her back.

"I love you too." You replied, now resting your chin on her head.

so my mom got me into stranger things right. we binged all of s3 today because i'm sick and why not. these characters are giving me brainrot.

steve? gets sillier every scene. what a silly guy. my mom says he and robin look like little sailor babies in their uniforms and i thought that was silly. also? shut up. everyone in this group is a nerd. you are a nerd, just maybe.. not in the same way. ur little car stunt? that poor car but also FUCK YEAH GET EM!

dustin? perfect silly guy and everyone who hurts him makes my blood boil. he just a little guy. he looked so silly in his snow ball outfit. his relationship with steve makes me so happy they r like brothers.

hopper? idiot. silly idiot. why are you emotionally constipated so BAD. at least he is LEARNING how to communicate properly. i'm proud of him. silly guy.

joyce? good mom. im proud of her and she goes through so much shit. i hope she and hopper can properly get their shit together but also kinda not because let me tell u it can be FUNNY. she needs a break i think. give joyce byers a break.

nancy? kind of an asshole again but that's ok. she's p chill otherwise and i think she just has too much trauma and isn't very good at handling it. also BAMF. nancy wheeler BAMF and you can rip this from my cold dead hands. her hair looked very pretty this season too. i love her

mrs wheeler? the beginning of the season, that thing with billy? that had me wince quite a few times. icky yucky. but. also good mom at end of it after nancy got fired and just. after the thing with billy she was p cool.

billy? VERY ICKY. s2 and almost all of s3 i had ZERO sympathy for him. then his dad was an ass and when he sacrificed himself because he thought of his mom that was actually like. ouch, but still i hate you. also his hair is ugly change my mind.

max? actually kinda of hated her the first few episodes she was in. like. she was kind of a bitch. she grew on me tho!! and by the time she and el started talking i was happy to see her. she's also. not as whiny as most of the boys in the group so. that was nice and her hair is always cute.

el? able to consistently get on my nerves and make me happy. it's a little funky. GREAT style tho i would steal a lot of her clothes. her relationship with hopper makes me go <3

suzie? did not like, personally, but i wouldn't protest if she showed up again. also if she wasn't annoying and made dustin sing hopper wouldn't have that shit happen to her and i would like her more.

bob? i was sad and i probably cried idr. he grew on me and i think he was sweet. he made joyce happy and he made me happy that he liked to help even when he had no clue what was going on and sometimes his advice didn't work.

mike? whiny bitch. learn how to be a decent friend and i'll give u another thought. why is nothing ever your fault? have you ever considered that it MIGHT be at least partially your fault?? ass.

will? honestly, the kid grows on me. he's always caught up in some shit and its hard to actually get anything from that but what you do get... he mostly seems like a sentimental guy who just wants to play games with his friends. i can respect that.

lucas? if he does dumb shit in s4 i WILL call him out. no hesitation. he is prone to doing dumb shit with zero regard for the consequences it seems. he's at least useful when you need him and can find him.

jonathan? he switches between "oh he's p chill actually" and "JONATHAN WHAT THE FUCK" so. idk. u kno what i mean. he's pretty smart tho he carries the party when they're stressed and i'm proud of him.

um. i think that's it. i started this post the day that i finished s3, got tired and went to bed, and now it is a whole 5 days later and i am one ep off from finishing s4. yay?
