So during the plane, last night, I decided to torture myself and to listen to the dead poets society for the second time... the voice were way to strong for me too not to do it...
I skipped two of scenes with Chris and Knox... the first scene is because I HATE what Knox does during the movie, like he has an stalky behivor and he is obsessed with Chris... and it's not done in an romantic way, it's just plain creepy... without forgetting the fact that he in fact kiss an girl that is sleeping... this is unacceptable... I actually like him in fics but I don't think that the way he is written is good. For the second scene is just that I don't really like the poem scene, it's very emberessing and it's not something that I personally fell comfortable seeing (I have way to much second hand emberessing to see the scene).
Going back to the first point, it's the same thing for the scene of "Nuwanda" I don't think that Charlie should call himself that... it's quite racist and the only reason that he does it, it's for impress the girls that he bring to the cave... it would be an other thing, if he was Half-Native American and it was an way to commemorate this side of him, but it isn't... so I don't really think that it's an good choice... as well, if you want to make himself call "Nuwanda" in fics, make him Native American or at least Half-Native American...
NOW, let's talk about something that is less serious... I also can say with much pleasure that I was able to recognize all the characters that was not the case the first time that I saw it. Because they are all white men that look alike, Charlie and Knox are literally the same person... like actually the same person... (I still don't know the difference btw Spark, Spit and Hokins - are they mentioned in the movie I don't remember them... as well, I have yet to recognize all the teachers but next time, that I see it, it will be my mission... to reconize those people... )
And I have accepted the fact that Todd is my kinnie. He is so me, the tests in the internet were right... he's an anxious baby with parents issues like me... also the way his father talks, I hadn't noted the first time what the fuck is that... (I know that most people believe that Jeff isn't an good brother, but this is NOT true... Jeff loves his baby brother and his boyfriend, trust.) Anyway, so Todd is my kinnie but Cameron stay my favourite... Yess, that he has done is horrible, I am aware but he still is my baby boy and he was an seventeen years old that was leaving through grief (and let's remember that nobody - in canon - told him that Neil was dead... he wasn't fucking there when they told Todd...) so, yeah Cameron defender until the day that I die..
Btw, both my parents saw Dead Poets Society and I want sooo much to talk with them about my favourite ships but I can't because both don't remember the movie very well (it's been an while since they saw the movie) and I am scared they are going to judge me, for my questionable taste in ship... also I am scared that they don't believe that Anderperry is canon (I don't want to have my heart broken.) Sooo talking about ships here are my thoughts... I am an Chameron truther but Knarlie is something, have you seen the Saxophone scene ??? What the hell was that... like seriously ?? Also Mittsie were adorable during the radio scene, I love them so much... ANDERPERRY IS CANON AND THEY ARE ADORABLE !!!!! (The first time around it wasn't my favourite ship but now I love them so much). I strongly believe that Chris x Knox x Chet would be the BEST enemies to lovers in the world... like they both hate Knox so much and he's soooooo in love with them, it's hilarious. Mr Keating x Mr McAllister are canon (and they are childhood best friends) change my mind... but I also love my oc (Canon Mr. Keating fiancée) so I don't know, I love them all... (more in them later). The Chameron brain rot was real during the movie and I remember why they were my favourite... Now, I need to re-read all the Chameron fics in AO3...
At soon that the drama piece started, I starting thinking : no... no... no... no... no... basically I was the definition of : "Please I've been on my knees/Change the prophecy" I wanted so muchhh that everything ended well, like I hate thus movie so much.... I love it so much....
