So I've been slowly making my way through MEA for the past few months and my Ryder was going to romance Vetra but then that scene in Kadara with Reyes on the rooftops happened and it was cute and now I wanna romance him but then the Charlatan scene happened and I AM CONFLICTED AND MY FEELINGS ARE ATTACKED 😂

Can't you do both? lolAnd do you mean the scene with Sloane and the "sniper duel"?

IDK, I'm probably not the best person to talk to about this because I never romanced Reyes and I don't plan on doing it tbh, but I do think that if you romance him you gotta appreciate the man for who he is. He's complex and that's something to be mindful of for sure but his demons are not the only things that define him. Reyes can also be funny, mischievous and just really interesting. If you are having fun with him, go for it I would say :)

And that scene on the rooftops is really really good. I love it!

My favorite romance in Mass Effect Andromeda is probably the one between Alec and Ellen instead of one of the Rydermances, tbh. Space parents are cute.

Okay, so if Jaal is polyamorous, who else on the ship is? Wouldn't another character have to be interested in that in order for Ryder to have a polyamorous relationship? Has anyone figured out who you can romance at the same time as Jaal?

I feel like the guy who asked Mrs. Lincoln how she liked the play, but how are the MEA romances? So far what I’m hearing is that it’s kinda juvenile and the little clips I’ve seen haven’t really grabbed me yet (bits of Cora and Reyes).

About romances in Mass Effect Andromeda

According to this polish article (page 2): 

almost everyone on the Tempest seems to be a romance option 

you can flirt with Gil (a handsome engineer), Suvi (a redhead pilot/navigator), doctor Lexi (who works in emergency department) and with members of your squad.

uh... shit. i think i'm at the final showdown between Sloane and Reyes. what happens to Reyes if i don't let him kill Sloane? because i don't want her to die, but i'd like to progress a bit further with the Reyes romance before i dump him for Jaal (also i keep forgetting that at this point Ryder doesn't Know that Reyes is the Charlatan, which is endlessly confusing and funny to me)

Ah I never romanced him... When I saved Sloane, Reyes escaped. You can shoot him as he’s leaving. If you do shoot him, he sends you a message that’s basically a threat. So he’s alive and well, but he’s angry. If you romance him (and try to shoot him), he sends a different type of message apparently. Hope that helps!

im replaying me:a again (as sis ryder) and i cant decide who to romance, thoughts? ive romanced both vetra and peebee before, with both ryders, but nobody else

A lot of good LIs like Suvi, Liam, Jaal, … I guess it depends, what do you like as romance or how your Ryder feels? If you’re wondering about the Suvi romance, I didn’t play it but I watched a vid of it and did a transcript for the Suvi Appreciation Week. It’s here if you want to check it out. It was HELLA CUTE. 

I also watched the sisRyder/Jaal romance and thought it was wonderful. Thoughts here. 

I haven’t checked the Liam/SisRyder romance yet because I want to experience it for myself in a second sisRyder playthrough but from what I’ve seen, it’s a solid romance. 

As for Keri and Reyes, I haven’t done the romance but I heard it was good, only short.

Hey i romanced liam and its adorable! You get cute banter in the nomad as well and liam is just like utterly in love with you its precious. Personally id say see how you/your ryder feels and just follow what you like in the game! You can watch the other on youtube or replay! 💖
