Modern newsies au where Jack, Race, and Crutchie were all adopted by Miss Medda

When they were like 11 Race and Crutchie made an entire presentation and song to ask for a cat. Jack didn’t participate because he didn’t really like cats that much and kept telling the other two Medda would never cave. After literal months of nonstop begging Medda brought home an adorable little calico kitten she found at a shelter. Jack ignores the cat but in the long term Jack and the cat have a closer bond than the others.

so like my take on the newsies fandom (as a fansie myself)

i find it scary when some fansies are really aggressive with their preferences (movie vs musical) because that it THE MOST POPULAR DEBATE in the fandom

i have no beef with 92sies I LOVE 92SIES but its always the mfs who prefer 92sies straight up disrespecting any opinion that goes against theirs like 'grrrrr i hate livesies 😡😡😡 92sies is way better and you are wrong if you like livesies 😡😡😡😡'

cuz like i love them both equally and i personally prefer livesies and my best friend is a 92sies fan so when i said livesies she started FLAMING Tommy Bracco for just playing Spot in the live version (she's like a MASSIVE Spot Conlon simp) 🫩🫩

because personally on my take this makes the fandom very toxic because we don't need to be flaming others for their damn PREFERENCES. THAT INCLUDES SHIPPING PREFERENCES. yes.
