Take your adhd meds this morning
More often than I'd like, due to the idiosyncrasies of the healthcare/pharmaceutical systems and the difficulties of me making timely requests for prescriptions while having multiple disabilities, I sometimes go without a medication for a brief period of time and get (1) proof that I still need that medication, (2) proof that the medication has been working well, (3) a reminder of what life was like before I took that medication, and (4) feelings of gratitude that I am now fully medicated most of the time and (despite everything) am living a much more physically, mentally, and emotionally stable life than I used to live.
