Could someone give me some names of musicians, singers and bands (both domestic and foreign) who were listened to in the Bundesrepublik Deutschland/Federal Republic of Germany between 1950 and 1986? Romantic songs too! I am writing a story and would like to include music (and even radio stations) from that period, and also learn a bit about the history of music at that time in both the Federal Republic and the Deutsche Demokratische Republik/German Democratic Republic.
I think it would be a great addition to the text and also a good way to learn a little. I tried to search on my own, but not knowing German really prevented me from learning. And I mainly found pages about the science of radio waves (not even about the apparatus itself) and not what I'm interested in.
Which philosophers and scientists were also being read during those periods?
Any information about the legend of Tannhäuser pre 1800s is also welcome.
