finished up my part for Polarism’s Put On Your Sunday Clothes MAP!! :0 I’ve always wanted to join in on a MAP so when the call for this popped up I immediately jumped on board, especially since it uses a song from Wall-E hA

the theme for this MAP was a desert at night so here’s Soundwave being sent off to explore some desert-like alien planet! >:3c it was rlly nice to work with him here tbh and actually get to draw/animate him doING HIS JOB FOR ONCE bc in all the months of having Soundwave around not once have I ever drawn him actually doing his job ghsgndns bruh

although to be totally honest I’m not,, , not super fond of the way this turned out, there’s a lot of little mistakes and stuff I feel like I should’ve been able to do better movement-wise bUT HEY ya can’t expect everything to turn out perfect when ur still learning lol. Still had fun tho!!

finished some little animations of Zer0! :0 these were mainly to better show how his drippy face works. His whole face is a holographic display that hovers just in front of the TV screen, so his drips aren’t physical and can’t actually get onto anything! it’s not programmed to be affected by gravity either, so no matter what way Zer0 turns his head (to the side, upside-down, etc), the drips won’t flow in any other direction

the second one is actually the animation I intended to be the one to show how his face works + some extra characterization but it got a little too long and complicated I ended up not liking in the end so I scrapped it did the blink icon instead pfffftt

this was originally planned to be made for and released on Halloween, but it ended up taking WAY longer to make than I thought it would lmao. But I still got it done! holy heck!!

I'm honestly INCREDIBLY proud of myself for pulling this off. Not only was it a huge step up from what I'd previously been animating, but it also required me to try new techniques I've never done before, including lipsync, more dynamic character movement, backgrounds, etc!! I really feel like I learned a lot from this project and can't wait to make more stuff like this!
